We always ordered our tea from Bojangles from the location on Glenwood Ave. by the airport, but after continued bad tea and a bad response from their manager that she expressed little concern for my comment. We decided to go some where else, so we went to the Bojangles on Falls of Neuse Rd. Well, it was not much better, no taste of tea just the lemon. For my first time at Bojangles, I'd say it was pretty good! Iced tea was drinkable for a midwesterner like me- I'm still learning what is "good" tea haha. This was good in my opinion, but not the best. My husband and I each got the 4 chicken strip meal, and we both wished we had gotten bone in pieces. Next time we'll have to try it! Fries were flat but edible. Salty and fine. Honey mustard was alarming soooo yellow, but that's just the artificial coloring bells in my head going off. Ranch was amazing! My Thankful Thursday is dedicated to the good folks at Bojangles. This location is excellent. They are always staffed, they have the menu items we desire and they keep the drive thru moving. My daughter enjoys the biscuit sandwiches, seasoned fries, Bo rounds and chicken tenders meals from here. The have a delicious honey mustard sauce that accompanies the fresh, crispy, moist chicken tenders. We also enjoy the chicken sandwiches. I made it a point on my work trip to stop by Bojangles since my coworkers hyped up the place. Admittedly for my first time at Bojangles, it was well worth the hype. We experienced no issues with service. My coworker and I went through the drive-thru, which had a long ass line of cars. Luckily the line went by quickly, so I would say that the staff were efficient in getting the orders out in a timely fashion. My coworker forgot to include a side of gravy through the ordering mic, but the staff member at the payment/pickup window was able to add it to our order with no problem. What a legit, hefty breakfast! I really enjoyed the Cajun filet biscuit. It was nice and flaky, and the spicy fried skin on the chicken packed on so much flavor. I did think that the chicken was a bit dry, but the fact it was white meat probably attributed to the dryness. I ate the Cajun filet biscuit with the sausage gravy, which for me was like icing on the cake. It tasted even better with the gravy! I also did try some of the country bacon biscuit sandwich. I never had country bacon, so I was surprised by how salty it was. The sandwich was pretty darn good nonetheless. The sweet tea from Bojangles was really good. It tasted like actual sugar was used, but it wasn't overly sweet either. read more

Yum! For what Bojangles is, aka not a fancy, black-tie, sit-down establishment, I now understand the hype! This was my first time ever at any Bojangles! I'm from the West coast, so we don't have them out there. The staff were very friendly, and since there was no line behind us, they were very nice about helping me understand all my options for meals and sides. When it came to waiting for our food and getting condiments, the staff were super patient and kind when I asked for honey mustard, honey, butter, etc. Even when I came back later for lids and small to-go bowls for our dirty rice, they were super accommodating. I got the chicken breakfast biscuit with french fries and a coffee. The coffee was mediocre, but everything else was really good. I really liked the biscuits: moist, flaky, and warm. The chicken was well seasoned and surprisingly not dry as I was expecting. They give you a VERY generous amount of fries, overflowing in the bag. My boyfriend ordered the dirty rice, and it was well seasoned and moist. I've never had dirty rice before, and it was very tasty! Although I am not one to eat fast food that often, I would definitely recommend trying Bojangles and making a stop the next time I'm out East. read more

Here's my experiences: Been going to this bojangles multiple times since I've lived in Raleigh. We always order a half gallon of half sweet and half unsweetened tea. There are many times where depending who is working they will say they don't have that but we've always gotten our half gallon 1/2 and 1/2 from them. Today I ordered it from the person who stands outside to take the order, he said no we don't do that and when I said we normally get it from here he said "just ask at the register" and went to the next person. When I got to the register the woman said no and when I said we normally get it here she explained that honestly "it just depends who's working and what manager is working- it depends on who feels like making it" wow. Everyone in this region of the U.S. will say Bojangle's is the bee's knees, but they're honestly just alright, everything balances out to an above average level of quality. The biscuits are out of this world good, but the tenders are pretty typical and don't really hit home. The chicken bone in is pretty good, but not as good as Zaxby's, PDQ or other local offerings. Best part about Bojangles? It's cheap, and relative to the price you get a good and fulfilling meal. Just don't let anyone tell you it's the best around. It's not, trust me. Also, lines? Get ready to wait 15 minutes minimum for an order. They won't talk to you either because most employees are upset that they're busy, so if you're a friendly person pretend that you're not so people don't ghost you when you say thank you or ask for something extra! read more

In my opinion this bojangles has always been subpar compared to others; they almost always overcook their biscuits. Happy to see a Bojangles' on my way to work, but I guess several other people are, too. When I pulled in, there were probably 10 cars in the drive-thru. I had to wait about five minutes before I even got up to the speaker. Sadly, there was a language barrier with the voice on the other end, she got my order all wrong. Thanks to the screen, I was able to correct her & she got it right after I told her my order again. Once I ordered, the line moved pretty quick. The lady who gave me my food was quick, but she was no-nonsense. My food was hot (potato rounds & steak biscuit) & tasted good. The coffee was hot, but wasn't the best coffee taste. You can't go out the same way you come in, so be minded of that. I had to go across the gas station area next door, in order to get back on Glenwood. Plenty of parking & reasonable prices. read more

The food is very good, usually great at least 90% of the time. Presentation and service are very hit or miss. A few of their staff members are lovely. However the majority of them are rude and/or not remotely interested in their jobs. I routinely see people behind the counter on their phone with customers waiting. I have gotten drive through and the sandwiches were put in the bag unwrapped. I check every item before leaving the window now. They have never gotten my order correct. Not once. And I never have special requests. I order normal menu items and the way their register codes them I always end up with missing items as the quantity you order is not clearly specified. Despite the terrible service, the food is great and it's the only Bojangles for miles so we keep going. Just check your order before you leave. read more

ATT-Just about this one location** I love bojangles so much so I hate to shame it but about 4 out of 5 times I go they get something incorrect. I don't know if it's because of the drive-thru because they're distracted or whatnot but it always drives me up a wall that I know I have to ask for special requests once I get to the window (sauce for nuggets, extra seasoning, jelly, etc) because I know they won't do it for me if I ask over the com. And when I do ask for these "special requests" at the window, 3 out of 5 times THEY STILL DONT DO IT. Or they forget a drink, give the wrong type of biscuit, forget add ons, etc. I know this is sounding dramatic but when you want fast and easy food and you have to prep yourself for it to wrong it sucks. I generally try to avoid fast food, but it will take a lot for me to start avoiding Bojangles. For big restaurant chains like this, I try to write my reviews based on the individual location as opposed to the whole operation, and this location is pretty good! For comparison, the worst Bojangles I've been to is in Durham, where you feel a little dirtier both going in and coming out. The best location I've been to is in Yadkinville, NC. Why? I have no idea... maybe because there isn't much else going on there, or because those small towns take a lot of pride in their work? Anyway, this one is not quite up there, but the store is clean and the food has a good amount of turnover. You can even see the timestamps they put on everything so you know you're not getting yesterday's dregs (like in Durham perhaps?). As always, the chicken supremes dinner is does honor to its name, and you should probably just get that. If you're feeling hungry, add on a boberry biscuit and your favorite combo of bacon egg & cheese or sausage & egg biscuits. What more is there to know? What can I say about Bojangles... Bojangles has been with me for a long time. It all started in High school when I was a freshmen at Cardinal Gibbons on Western Blvd when one of the upperclassmen told me to come with the other teammates to Bojangles. They introduced me to a legal drug in the fast food industry, Bojangles... Man that word makes me hungry on a full stomach. I could go on and on telling you about what is good on this menu, but I might as well copy and paste the menu to this website. I've been to this Bojangles a few times, and the service and food have always turned out decent. I've had the two for $1 sausage biscuit specials a couple times and enjoyed them. The biscuits are delicious and better than other fast food biscuits. One of my go to meals is the Cajun filet biscuit combo. They some how get that special spicy seasoning inside the chicken and comes out tasty and delicious. For sides, I'm a fan of the dirty rice and seasoned fries. Overall, Bojangles is a good fast food spot to get some fried chicken and biscuits. read more
