Earlier today, I had surgery, so I sent my son into your restaurant to pick up lunch for our family while I remained in the car. He ordered three cheeseburgers and a large order of fries for me, my son, and my daughter. While checking him out, the employee at the register commented, "That's a lot of food. It's enough for three to four people." My son replied, "It is for three people." Although the employee may not have intended any harm, the comment implied that my son was purchasing all of the food for himself. While shaming him- it was embarrassing, unnecessary, and hurtful. Comments about how much food someone is buying or eating can easily be interpreted as judgments about their body or eating habits. My son left feeling embarrassed, and as his mom, it was upsetting to hear that someone serving, paying, repeat, customers would make a personal remark about a purchase that had nothing to do with them. I'm not someone who typically writes complaints, but I felt this was important to bring to your attention. I hope this can serve as a reminder to your staff that comments about customers' food choices or the quantity they purchase are best left unsaid. A simple, friendly transaction is all that's needed. I hope this feedback will help prevent another customer from having a similar experience. Or, serve as a reminder for people to reevaluate where they give business too, especially if you're a customer who is sensitive to body shaming and judgment. Not to mention: when we got home, we realized your employee only put two burgers in the bag, when my son ordered three. A $50 lunch should come with three burgers, a bag of fries, and good customer service--- not an embarrassing comment that leaves a customer feeling judged. I hope this experience serves as a reminder that kindness costs nothing, and EVERY customer deserves it. This store gets a strong 5 star rating for their continued patience with @sshole meal delivery drivers. The last 2 times I've been here, they've been overrun by these people and they are nothing but rude to the staff for no reason. If I worked here and dealt with this, one of these drivers would end up with a milkshake to the face. These drivers have no respect. This location was a letdown. I want to say the staff were very friendly and kind. However, the food and the restaurant were way below average. As you can see in my photo, they just threw lettuce, pickles, mustard, and a burger in a to go container. They didn't even slightly try to make it easy to eat and it's like they closed their eyes while making it. The restaurant was so dirty. We're in the middle of a pandemic and they should at least try to keep it a little bit cleaner. They also all had masks but they were wearing them below their chins - they didn't even cover their mouths or noses. It's like they had them just to check a box. Friendly employees and quick, accurate service. I am not a huge fan of their food because it is too greasy for me, however, many of my friends are big fans of Five Guys. I visited this location to order food to go for someone else and the service was great! I was greeted when I arrived, my order was taken right away and made quickly and accurately. I did park kind of far since I was not sure how crowded North Hills would be but there is parking available closer to Five Guys. Absolutely terrible. Will never go back. Came in for an order. The grill was apparently broken and they didn't tell anyone until after we had all been waiting for 30 minutes. Couldn't tell anyone when our order would be ready, yet continued to take orders and not tell people until after they were waiting. The staff was rude when asked about the situation and clueless to a solution. When a chef from another restaurant came in and ordered and found out, he told them they should close down. This location is your standard tasty Five Guys! The employees are always friendly and have a pretty good hustle to get your food out in a timely manner. This place can get slammed after the movies lets out so just be aware of that, you may be hanging out with every teenager in Raleigh while you wait for your food. Otherwise there usually isn't much of a wait here. Parking can be tricky, but you can usually find a spot in the 15 minute loading zone right in front of the restaurant. As per usual the little fries is actually huge and plenty to share with a few people. I also think the little burger is just your standard sized burger and not really little at all. The grilled onions are always actually grilled and super tasty. I'll continue to go to this Five Guys to satisfy a burger craving! read more

I've been to this Five Guys several times and I have never been disappointed. I think the price is pretty decent for the amount of food you get and since everything is made to order, you are guaranteed food fresh off the grill. I also like the variety of free toppings they have so you can really customize your burger to your liking. I ordered a cheeseburger and then I shared the "little" fries with my mom. The fries were more than plenty for the two of us and they came out super fresh. I love that Five Guys is always super generous with their fries and it always seems to be a bit more than I expect. If you are looking for some burger and fries that hit the spot, then I definitely suggest checking out Five Guys. read more

Bought movie tickets for the Regal Theatre next door, and then went to Five Guys. Nice alternative to movie snacks! I like the option of doing your burger all the way or with just the toppings you prefer, and all at the same price. Ordered a cheeseburger with drink. North Hills location: William, the older gentleman taking orders, wiping down surfaces and sweeping was fantastic. The rest of the staff needs to be retrained. During my 30 minutes inside, one employee (young black male) dropped the F bomb three times along with several other expletives. He also stated "a black man can't get away with that" (not sure what this was about but ok). For about 10 minutes no one was at the counter while William cleaned up outside. I've been to this location twice and was satisfied both times. I got a double cheese burger all the way with medium fries. The burger was cooked fresh and came out hot. The meat patties were very juicy and are definitely higher quality than a Wendy's or McDonald's. The cheese was melted on top and the condiments were assembled very nicely. The pickles have a very nice crunch and the tomatoes were fresh too. The fries alone make a visit to five guys worth it. They are always cut fresh, seasoned perfectly, and fried to order. The best part is that they fill your cup of fries in the bag and then purposely give you an extra huge scoop so that it overflows in the bag. They are not stingy with the fries and my medium would've been a large or extra large size at any other place. Five Guys is a great place to get a good burger if your looking for something above the regular fast food burger. Although your meal can be pricey (mine was $11 with no drink for lunch), they really go out of their way to make if worth your money by serving hot and fresh burgers with an insane amount fries. Sadly, for a Friday night, every sit down restaurant was packed with an hour plus wait. Enter Five Guys. We walked right in & was able to place our order. The order takers however weren't that friendly & acted like they'd rather be somewhere else. We didn't wait long for our food, less than five minutes. I had a little bacon burger - the bacon crispy, the burger cooked to perfection, but the jalapeños were super fresh. They burned my mouth, so I ended up taking the rest off. My dad ordered fries & they weren't very good. Some were overcooked & some were soggy. I think the prices are reasonable, especially for the size of the burgers, fries & drinks. I have been to this @Five_Guys location several times. They have a great location, and are easily accessible. The food is prepared fresh while you watch. The fries are served hot and fresh. It did seem that on my last trip, they cut the amount of fries that they serve to each customer. The staff seems nice and friendly, and the food is always hot. They even provide boxes of peanuts for you to snack on while you wait for your food to be finished. I can't ever recall having a problem with my food at this location. Standard five guys but with amazing staff! I've been to this location several times, my order has always been fast and correct. We usually get our custom LBCs (little bacon cheeseburger), small fries (more than enough for 2 ppl), and shakes (strawberry, oreo cookies and oreo creme). What really stood out to me is the customer service, the fact that they all get along, have a great team environment, and all seem to enjoy working there makes me want to only go to this FG. Order the large fries and they will be hang out of the bag. If you order a double or triple I recommend you take the extra patty and make yourself extra hamburger for a next meal. You been saving money for a cheap meal the next day. If you have a craving for French fries, this is the place to go! Very aware of allergens and GF. Go here regularly for burgers and fries. They don't have a GF bun, but for a fast food burger joint a lettuce wrap is a good alternative. Feel free to mix and match as you like, I generally add hot stuff, they don't care how complex your order is. 3) For goodness sake, enjoy some peanuts as you wait for your burger. I LOVE THIS PLACE! One day, it's going to kill me. They'll cut me open and see they my blood vessels are full of bacon double cheeseburgers. But what a way to go! I always get the "everything" burger, with so much in it my sandwich falls apart, and getting a regular fries means over-flowing-almost-can't-eat-them-all fries. I usually get regular, but try the Cajun. G**damn I LOVE these burgers! I would give 5-Guys 5-Stars EXCEPT for the fact that it's right outside a movie theatre that I frequent. No matter how recently I've eaten I have to cross the sidewalk to keep from going in. Today I made the mistake of walking by thinking I'd steeled myself against my desire for a burger. Unfortunately I saw a friend and his son through the window and was done for. At least this time I was able to say no to the fries (g**damn those delicious fries!!!). Step inside any of the Five Guy restaurants that seem to be popping up around the area, and just take a look at the walls, us Washington, D.Cers vote this place number one for fantastic hamburgers all the time and for good reason. The toppings are free, the burgers are greasy and huge, and the french fries are made fresh everyday, and believe me when I say "Cajun" is the way to go. Vegetarian? no problem. They have grilled chesses (with all the topping options as well) and a "veggie" burger, which is basically all the toppings with cheese, and no meat. And my friend's favorite part?
