I'm not really sure what can be said about Waffle House that hasn't already been said. People know what they're getting when they come here. I had been craving a waffle after being told to go Gluten Free (no they don't have gluten-free waffles, I was simply eating at my own risk. You're smarter than me, don't do this) and while it was a simple waffle with margarine and pancake syrup, a side of bacon and a side of scrambled eggs that I didn't have to cook myself, I must say it hit the spot. What I really want to say though is I had the best service that I've had in a while at any restaurant. After trying to figure out which breakfast combo I wanted, my server, Kait, ensured I got the items I wanted without overpaying and let me know exactly how to order in the future. She and her co-workers checked in with me frequently without hovering. I love that she and the other waitresses got to banter with their manager and at one point I overheard him asking how they liked their new schedules because they had recently switched their shift times around. When you have a manager that genuinely cares about the employees and isn't so serious all the time, it trickles down to the customer experience. Kudos to this Waffle House location! read more

Came in and spent $19.65 to only be highly dissatisfied with the entire order. I order a chicken hash brown melt with onion and 3 eggs scrambled with cheese on the side to go. I am looking at 3 dry eggs in a bowl and hash brown melt with no onions. Maybe instead of talking the entire time the lady was yelling yeh order the cook could have gotten it right. old server with red short curly was disgustingly rude and disrespectful. odviously has not been trained on good manners or service. First time trying a waffle house, of course we had to try the waffles. I had the pecan waffle meal which was very good and alot of flavor. My husband had the chocolate chip waffle which he loved and had good flavor and tased almost like a dessert. The rest of our meals was just ok but I think that was do to them training since half of the staff was on day one training. Five stars for being a place full of memories over the years of late night runs to early morning chow downs but now that steak and eggs have fallen from the menu I'll have to tip my hat to the place as I drive by. Brought the family in and had a wonderful last late dinner/breakfast! The family indulged and loved it but I bowed out due to the missing steak and eggs. read more

This is the best Waffle House in Norman! It's really unbelievable how quick they can get you your food. Waffle House is not a fancy place and it's not receiving 5 stars because it's hip and cool. The reason this for this rating is because the service is good, the food is great, and the prices are fantastic. It's that simple. The All-Star breakfast is the best deal. Waffle House is the best place for breakfast any time of day. Staff is friendly, makes you feel like you are sitting aroung the table at home. Wife and I go when Mary is serving since we have been going there for years. Many changes, but Mary is a constant. She takes good care of her customers and is always helpful. I highly recommed Waffle House and the grits are really good. Waffles are a speciality and are fork licking good. I sat at the "bar" in full view of the cooks. I really wish I hadn't sat there. I watched as the cook Claudius handled raw bacon and sausage and then proceeded to touch EVERYTHING without changing his gloves, including the cooked bacon that went in my BLT.
