On our way back home to Texas, my brother and I decided to grab breakfast at the Black Bear Diner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside of the restaurant has carvings of bears and a bench with bears on either side. The inside of the restaurant is very elegant, all the decorations and displays are black bears which fits the persona of the restaurant perfectly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were promptly greeted by Ms. LaNeisa, who has a very bubbly personality, made us feel welcomed, and very kind smile and lead us to our table. She took our drink orders, 2 cups of coffee, and water. Ms. LaNeisa, took our orders I ordered the Shasta Veggie Scramble which had Avocado, spinach, tomato, onion, bell pepper & jack cheese with wheat toast and crispy hash brown potatoes. My brother had the 2-Egg Classic Combos. All egg breakfasts are served with choice of side and a homemade biscuit, he opted for two chicken sausage, and pancakes. Both our meals were mouth watering and very delicious. After eating we were looking to buy some shirts but didn't have anything we liked. I really liked this place. Please come by and see the folks at the Black Bear Diner, say hello to Ms. LaNeisa.

This place stays fairly busy so I could not wait any longer to try it out. The greeter seemed tired but pleasant. We were seated by the kitchen which was very loud with dishes getting washed and banged around. Our waiter was cordial and gave us plenty of time to decide on our order. Breakfast is served all day and the menu is a large selection. They also serve a large selection of desserts. We opted for the BLT sandwich and Chicken tenders. This was served fairly quickly. Breakfast must be the "go-to" item here as our order was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Thought the prices were a little high and the service was on the low side. Drinks were refilled at the end of the meal. I realize I may have caught a bad day so this will not deter an additional visit.

We stopped here for breakfast while staying in the area. So many great things to say: it was quiet inside, so perfect for 6:30 am. (I'm not a morning person and if you're the same you'll appreciate the quiet, dim-lit atmosphere) Our waitress was the sweetest, she checked on us several times. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals, the eggs were perfect! Now, let's talk about that biscuit!!! Dang!!! It's like a small loaf of bread, warm and delicious. I wish I could've eaten the entire thing but I had other places to try out and needed to save room for the day! This place is a must if you're in the area and are hungry, you won't leave hungry!

my 2nd time here, and it was pretty solid. the service was a bit slow, but the server was really sweet. I ordered the chicken fried steak eggs benedict and it was delicious! it was the perfect size of chicken fried steak, and it worked so well with the english muffin, eggs, and hollandaise sauce. the hash browns were nothing special, and I wish there was seasoning or something else on it. the fruit was a nice palate cleanser. I also ordered the almond bear claw, and it arrived warm, and it was sooo yummy. however, it was a bit hard to bit into the ends of the pastry so I wonder if it was because it was old.

We stopped in OKC, and on our way out we HAD to make it to this cute diner! Bears everywhere and we're obsessed with just how cute they were. The service was phenomenal. There was a wait but still got seated pretty quickly! We ordered our food and it came out within 8 minutes! The food truly tastes like it was made at home and just for me. Let's not forget the sweet cream pancakes- omg sooo good!!

I debated between a four- and five-star rating, but overall this was still a five-star experience…read more This was my second visit, and I returned because I remembered having the best steak I'd ever eaten here. While this steak wasn't quite as impressive, it was a bit tougher than I'd hoped, the flavor was still phenomenal, with a great smoky, straight-off-the-grill taste. Our server, Gracie, was fantastic: friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our large party. We ordered several appetizers and enjoyed most of them, though the cornbread was noticeably dry according to several people at the table. The coconut pineapple margarita was a standout and well worth ordering. The tropical flavors were delicious, and the coconut rim was a great touch. I also loved my salad, especially the tomatoes, which were surprisingly flavorful. For my entrée, the steak was cooked well and paired nicely with the mashed potatoes. Although the texture kept it from matching my first visit, it was still very enjoyable. One thing we really enjoyed was the atmosphere. We were seated in a room toward the back near the wine cellar, adjacent to a pond outside. It ended up being a great spot because we could watch people enjoying the outdoor area throughout the evening. The restaurant struck a nice balance, it felt upscale and welcoming without being overly quiet. Our group was able to be a little loud and goofy without feeling out of place, which made the experience even more fun. What ultimately secured the five-star rating was dessert. I can't remember its name, but it's pictured in the photo. It was enormous and absolutely incredible, one of the best desserts I've ever had and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. The steak wasn't quite as tender as I remembered, but the excellent service, great drinks, solid appetizers, enjoyable atmosphere, and outstanding dessert made for a wonderful experience.

Another person in my group also ordered the Wagyu steak, and we both felt the same way--it was not good at all. For a $51 steak, I expected excellent quality, but instead it tasted like something you could buy at a dollar store. I ended up leaving hungry because I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I do want to recognize the staff. Our server was a very polite young man who provided excellent service, and the hostess was welcoming and hospitable. In the end, my bill was around $60 because I decided to splurge on myself today. It's disappointing to spend that much money only to end up wasting it on a steak I couldn't eat. I truly hope the restaurant takes another look at the quality of its Wagyu steak because it did not live up to its price.

The place had an unwelcoming vibe- like an independent thinker at a political rally. But I kept my cool. I came in and it took a few minutes before someone cane out of their very closed-off kitchen to receive my order. The gentleman did get my order and ensured himself and me that he heard my order correctly...I appreciated that! I ordered three gyros, one without the sauce and another just meat and bread with the third gyro being a full gyro without any special instructions. I also order the kafta, and I am so glad I did! There were several people that came in after me. They all went to the counter and waited without anyone coming out to take their order. Most left as they were all enclosed behind the wooden room divider. This divider certainly did divide the staff and their customers. One could not see into the kitchen at all nor a staff member to see their customers. It was a very strange set-up. When a customer comes into a restaurant, they usually are able to see someone there, but not here. The divider goes from the floor to the ceiling. It is a shame, truly. The dining room held a few tables and chairs. Everything was very clean. No complaints there. I soon received my food and went home. All the gyro sauces are kept in tiny plastic to-go cups. Most of the tops had popped off, during my ride home, leaving most of the sauce covering the inside of the bag, making quite a mess and leaving us with very little sauce. Unloading the sack, very gingerly due to this sauce, I found our order was complete and perfectly executing per my instructions. That is a great feat in itself! I was so happy that I didn't have to call asking for a forgotten gyro or one that was not made properly. We all sat down to eat our gyros and all were going to sample the kafta. The kafta was so very good. It was still hot and juicy! The spices and the meat just made our mouths so happy. We all loved it! The gyros though, were a sad experience for all of us. The gyro kept was mostly VERY dry with some meat being actually crispy and way too dried out! The gyro bread was very dry as well. None of us were able to finish our gyros. The hungriest of us had three bites out of his. We really tried but the sauce did not even make it right as the sauce failed to cover-up that dryness! The owner is most welcome to say his piece as is evident they excercise their right with most of the reviews that are short of singing their praises. But I think that if these reviews are read by them in a way that they were open to constructive criticism, and used that energy in a positive way to figure out what they need to do to protect the meat and bread from drying out as they do the kafta, both the customers and they would help winners. I want to come back soon and try them again with much hope that they have found a way to keep the meat and bread from drying out. If so, my mouth will sing the staff and gyro their praises! I would then be a very happy and consistent customer of LoQm'e! Blessings to you all.

First of all they set up a tiny table for 3, there was no room on the table top to even lay your phone down, it was full of plates, teacups and saucers, teapots, cutlery etc. Overdone and pretentious. I grew up in Sydney Australia and have had high tea all my life, English high tea is not set up ridiculously like Nosh does. They also seated us right at the entrance of a baby shower party, where people walked past us in and out of the event room which also has clear glass partition, so we felt like we were being watched as well as constantly disrupted with traffic. The tea was the only good part. The food on the trays were dismal: sandwiches were dry, most likely prepared the day before. Egg salad sandwich was nothing more than a smear of mashed eggyolk, extremely salty, on dried up bread. I can't even remember the other bad sandwiches. The desserts were so sorry looking, they must've been at least 2-3 days old. The lemon tart was disgusting, a small dollop of lemon curd in a stale pastry cup; the "assorted cake dots" was 1 tiny bite of cake - literally size of a quarter. Macaron was store-bought. We did not get the scone with jam and cream that I pre-ordered. Nothing was really edible on the entire tray. This was THE SINGLE WORST dining experience I have ever had, embarrassing to say the least. The manager was walking around the restaurant in a weird jogging suit kinda outfit, very unprofessional. The servers were very polite but that really doesn't make up for the fact that they couldn't put together a proper tea. Don't waste your money. Oh, and bring cash, because they'll slap a 5% fee if you use card. This place is a huge embarrassment to Oklahoma, don't waster your time and money.
