What a nice place for breakfast and or brunch. We saw the reviews online and we were drawn in by the lemon poppyseed pancakes. We went during the week so there was no wait, but this place is built to be busy. There is plenty of parking all around, and they have plenty of inside and outside seating (inside is a little noisy, just like a busy cafe). The kitchen is also designed for speed with an open ended service area for the servers to go and get the orders. We had a delicious dishes, see pictures and descriptions. The biscuits are served nice and hot before your meals, so they are great with your coffee as a start with three different jam offers - strawberry, cherry, and jalapeño peach, you should get at least an order of three biscuits to start for the table. When you come to the Jam, you expect delicious food. That's what we got. My Good ole Boy breakfast was delicious. Only discrepancy was my well done hash browns were not well done. Granddaughter had chocolate chip Glutten free pancakes. Obviously they were great cause that plate was cleaned. Mimi has a Good ole Boy, too. Her scrabbled eggs could have been a bit more cooked. Have to ask for dry next time. There will be a next time, too. Service could not have been any better. Bryan was extremely accommodating. I'd have to ask to be seated in his table next time. Ambiance: loved the place. Round tables are my favorites. Being my size doesn't fit in all booths! Noise level is a bit much. Long wait for breakfast on a Saturday morning, but it was worth in. We got on the waiting list, and spent some time driving around Norman and appreciating the distictive architecture of some of the neighborhoods in town. I was just off a plane, a fitfull sleep in the Dallas airport mini-hotel minute suites, and then a early morning drive up to Norman and I was in need of some good food. For my meal I went with a Chicken Tinga Tostada for my meal and had a Lavender Latte to drink. The portion was incredibly large, and I couldn't eat it all. The flavors were very good, and I enjoyed my time here. I will say I was a bit cold, the temperature was a bit chilly and we were near the door so that didn't help. It's a very busy place and the servers are busy so I don't think they can be as attentive as you might like, but overall a good dining experience. read more

The pancakes were amazing! We decided on the pancake trio, trying their key lime pie, blueberry lemon, and crème brûlée pancake flavors. The key lime pie was my favorite, it was warm, not overly sweet, and very true to the flavor!! We also tried the avocado toast which wasn't my favorite. The toppings were arraying in a pretty but challenging to eat way where some toppings were only on certain sides. A wonderful and lively addition to Norman's Main Street a few years ago, Neighborhood Jam has been one of the top notch brunch places for us. We've been to Neighborhood Jam many times whether it's dining in or take out, and their food is always delicious. We love getting their biscuits to start with, and I've tried so many menu items at this point with favorites being The Heap and the power bowl! The benny's are great, and I like the hot chicken biscuit or Cuban too. Seriously cannot go wrong with anything here. The service is always wonderful, and they've got the system down with the Yelp waitlist, making this an easy brunch destination where you can join whenever and not have to leave til it gets closed to your estimated time. It does get pretty loud inside but I think that speaks more to how busy and lively the place is, and they have patio seating outside as well! read more

Our table ordered the Bayou Benny, the Westside, the Border Benny, the Uptown. We also ordered a side of cheesy grits, which I don't get often so enjoyed. All were delicious. I also ordered a chai with almond milk. Loved that they offered chai, as I do not drink coffee. Our server was friendly, quick and checked on us often. There were plenty of tables in the restaurant, but they were not packed in. There was actually room to walk in between tables, and the tables were larger with big comfy seating. The wait staff were all friendly and flexible with our difficult group. The food was great. Two things made me decide to leave 4 stars instead of 5... one was that my chair was very sticky when I grabbed it to sit down.
