Delicious coffee! I really enjoyed my iced vanilla latte, one of the better ones in the metro! They were out of a couple food items already around 10 am on a Saturday but the scone we ended up getting was good. read more

Great selection of coffee and non-coffee drinks. Orders are hot when ordered hot. The people working at Yellow Dog are personable and have a great sense of humor. read more

The atmosphere in the place was awesome. My only regret was that I got my coffees to-go. My my said the Chi Tea Latte was amazing and my vanilla latte was great. But the scones...they lifted this place to a 5 star review. read more

I'm becoming a regular again... Long long ago, Cool Beans had issues with the availability of their signature roast (from Elemental) and switched to a different roast--which tasted bitter to me--until their signature roast was available again. Not as long ago--maybe a year, I began to note my stomach hurt (possibly the acidity of the beans?) after drinking lattes from Cool Beans, so I quit going altogether. And it made me sad, like a breakup where you 'want the best for one another, but know you aren't a good match' kinda sad. I wasn't drinking much coffee anyway (every few months I'd get a latte and might have coffee at an event or at home occasionally), but I did reminisce about the wonderful lattes Cool Beans had given me over the years. And then... A friend informed me that the owners of Yellow Dog had purchased Cool Beans. REALLY?!? Norman is what I refer to as a not-so tiny town and Yellow Dog can be found at events and various local businesses. I like their coffee and appreciate their company values and since we provide locally roasted coffee for our business, I have purchased it regularly. It took about a minute to decide to go back. And I am so glad I did! The coffee is fabulous, my visits are becoming more regular, and the 'one-of-a-kind cups bring a smile. Just as the previous owners were, the new owners are committed to supporting our local economy. VERY BIG DEAL to me. So, it looks like I may have to add a coffee category to my budget, but it's worth it. P. S. They're still doing punch cards. read more

Service and speed has improved so much! It has always been good, but a few burnt shots soured me for awhile. It hasn't happened in so long! The long line is now a glorious sign of people making good choices, since a big 'coffee' drive thru parked themselves a few feet away. The baristas are full of great recommendations! read more

Everyone that works there is so nice funny kind I love getting my coffee there. Great local coffee.

Looking for great fast coffee on the go, then Cool Beans Coffee is the place! Their Iced Carmel Macchiato is so delicious! My hubby enjoys their coffee with a shot of expresso too! Reasonable prices and great service with a smile!! Thank you Cool Beans staff for always being Awesome! read more

Love this cute place and their super cute coffee! They pretty much have everything that you could get at Starbucks, but for a cheaper price! I paid $4 for a small iced caramel macchiato. The small size is equivalent to the Starbucks Grande. Within 2 days of trying out this little drive-thru, I was back for more! I bought a hot vanilla latte this time. It was pretty good despite of it being more bitter than I was used to. Overall, it's a great place to get coffee in the morning because of the fast and friendly service! I hope they don't raise their prices because it's hard to find quality coffee for a cheaper price (college student struggles). P.S. Ask for a reward card if you're as addicted to coffee as I am read more

The coffee is awesome and strong! I definitely get that kick I need in the morning! I love that this is a local business with locally made products. But what sold me completely was their approach to the BLM movement and the way they are sharing the message with the community. Thank you for taking a stand for what's right. *Also I've never been more surprised/excited in my life to see blue whipped cream in my coffee read more

Excellent coffee, great employees, all local and all inclusive. Sereta Wilson & Kate Bierman are both forces for good in the community and they really strive to treat their workers right. (Get a cool bean Carmel for a classic Starbucks frappe kind of indulgence. Suuuuper good) read more

I love love this place. I use to work on the east side of Norman and this was my go to as I am a sucker for local businesses. The prices are reasonable for exceptional coffee - I'm not on that side of town much anymore but I still try to go when I can. It is a very tiny building right off Alameda, blink and you'll miss it! The only downside is that everyone else likes it so sometimes the wait can be a little long BUT everyone working is always so kind. They also have punch cards and cute stickers that go on your cup which can be a nice little pick me up some days. I've bought several of their drinks and every one has been exceptional! Their iced caramel mocha is absolutely incredible as well as their drip coffee and peppermint mocha. If you haven't tried it yet, put it on your list! read more

Stopped at this little hut in the dead middle of a winter storm in February lol, but LOVED the cold brew! It wasn't too bitter or too sweet. The gal even gave us a pup cup for our lab! Definitely wish they were open a little later on the weekends, they're always closed by the time I get off work :( cute little local spot! Can't wait to try out more on their menu read more

I drive by this place every day, and have always been curious about it. I'm not a huge fan of the coffee shops we have in the area, besides the fact that all but one don't have drive-thru's. But its so teensy-tinsy!!! It's just a witty bitty baby coffee shop. Out of the sheer fact that it's adorable, (and has amazing reviews on Yelp) I decide to drive through one morning on my way to the office. I always used to like pumpkin spiced lattes at You-Know-Where...but lately they've been making me sick...and they don't taste quite like they used to. I don't know why, don't really care, because I have now found the perfect solution. Cool Beans Soy Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. Let me tell you, it's cool beans. I ordered a medium...thinking The-Store-That-Must-Not-Be-Named's medium size. HAH. Nope. I was proffered a gigantor cup...probably 20 ounces, with caramel drizzled on the bottom. C.A.R.A.M.E.L. I receive my cup and I'm fanning myself already in wait for that wonderful gulp of the perfect PSL with a tinge of caramel. Oh. My. Goodness. I really don't like coffee. At all. But you know when you just have those cravings? It just had to be satisfied. And it was. The drink was smooth, the coffee wasn't roasted so much that it tasted burnt, and there was the perfect balance of sweet froofy flavor and milky taste that completed the latte. Only comment is that next time I'll order a small, with extra ice. There wasn't quite enough ice in mine this past time. I'll be back!!! (Cool beans.) read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! If you're looking for a great local coffee shop to give your business to, this is the one. I tried the banana bread scone today and it was one of the best scones I've ever had. The sweet words on my cup is one of my favorite things about this place too! Cool Beans coffee is amazing. Far better than Starbucks or most drive-thru coffee places. You can also walk up to this place. I have an iced latte and add caramel. Their hot chocolate is also pretty good. The service is fast and I'm never disappointed. Make sure you check to see if they are open on national holidays! (They are not open Labor Day) read more

Excellent coffee at an affordable price! We got their cold brew, an iced mocha, and a scone--all were delicious! The women at both windows were super friendly and, when they spotted our dog in the backseat, they gave us an adorable, free puppuccino! Best local coffee drive thru! Friendly, fast, reasonable price. Close to my home. In the morning I like that this is a drive thru only and the service is fast. In the past year the longest I've ever had to wait was 3-5 minutes. It's a small little building and easy to miss but is off Alameda a little east of 12th (same parking lot as Atwood's). Very fresh brewed high quality coffee. read more

By far the best Carmel Macchiatos I've had! It was a welcome surprise from an unassuming hut. I try to come back every time I'm in town.

Don't let the quaint exterior fool you. This is some serious coffee that deserves your attention. Masquerading as a little drive thru photo development shop from the 70's...I hadn't given much thought to the coffee place that moved in a while back. I now regret missing out on a year of this awesomeness. Cool Beans brews Elemental coffee (roastery on Hudson and 8th in OKC) and the attention to making a great cup of normal coffee or an espresso drink is amazing. Additionally, the prices for high-end locally-roasted coffee from a local coffee shop are less than nearby national chain products. I highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try. Fantastic! read more

I wish I had discovered Cool Beans three years ago! It's in the perfect location for my commute to work (especially since there is no Starbucks between here and there). They have a variety of options and the girls who work there are always so nice and helpful when I can't make up my mind. Their lattes are delicious! I've had an iced vanilla with soy and a hot vanilla decaf with regular milk. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. It's hard to pass up this local, delicious, convenient, cute little coffee stand. Way to go, Cool Beans! read more

Cool Beans fills a much-needed niche for a quality coffee shop in east-side Norman. If you've never been, don't be fooled...They're just a tiny drive thru in the middle of a parking lot. But hey, that's all they need! Their coffee comes from Elemental, a popular roaster in OKC. The menu prices are fair. The service is always friendly and fast. I love this place! read more

I read about this place in a local magazine and was intrigued because they are a local Oklahoma business and decided to give them a try.The coffee was awesome as well as the service I received.I like it better than Starbucks and Panera which is where I usually would go.If you happen to be in Norman,Oklahoma make it happen and I believe you will thoroughly enjoy it. read more

It's great to have a drive-thru coffee shop on the east side of town. I made my first visit today and ordered a hot medium peppermint mocha. It is so delicious...I can taste the coffee AND the flavoring. It's pleasant to order a peppermint mocha and not just taste the syrup. Service was quick and excellent. Very pleasant barista! Coffee is delicious, hot, and my cup is full. Cool Beans also has a punch card to entice buyers to come back. I definitely will! read more

Super cute coffee stand, love the drive thru easy access! Girls were very friendly and helpful, however, the cappuccino was more like a steamed milk than a coffee and that was slightly disappointing, especially since we were there for a pick me up. If I give Cool Beans four stars I'm going to feel like the Russian judge at the Olympics. It's only a tiny drive thru/walk up coffee bar, hardly even a structure occupying a previously unwanted corner of a plot of land on the east side. However! The coffee, roasted in the city by Elemental, is phenomenal. Having a place to get coffee on the east side is also huge. I have to disclose that I'm not a guy who drinks froofy stuff. Espresso. Ice. Lil milk n' sugar. But I can't make it taste this good at home, and I don't know what I'm lacking. I don't want to know what I'm lacking, I'm happy just cruising up the block and giving a local couple my hard earned cash and knowing that between the mom and pop shop and locally roasted beans it goes to the benefit of people around me. 5 stars. Boom. By all means if you were hesitant to try their coffee, don't be. They are super nice, pretty speedy, and the coffee is probably either the best in Norman or a close second. Oh by the way I think my GF (who likes froofy drinks and approves of their iced soy hazelnut lattes) and I willed this place into being. We wanted a non Starbucks coffee bar in nearly that exact same spot and it happened. I'm not positive we did that with our mental powers, but if someone opens a dive bar within walking distance of my house in the near future (ahem old Blockbuster) I'll get back to you. read more

Prices to high and they always mess up what you want I wouldn't go agin they are a scam

Love this quaint little drive-through coffee shop! I feel like it's hard to find good coffee on the east side of Norman; and especially good coffee that I don't have to get out of my car for when I'm being lazy on the weekends & go makeup-free. Every time that I've been here, the staff has been so positive & outgoing! I usually go for an iced mocha-caramel latte which really hits the spot with a Holey Roller donut (which they carry! Rejoice!) My only feedback would be to maybe extend the drink menu a bit? There are good options, but a small amount in my opinion. read more

Hands down the best drive-thru coffee shop in the OKC metro area. Their coffee is on point and incredible. The prices are the best around and you get a big drink. If they had more food options, I would drive through EVERY SINGLE DAY. Who am I kidding, I already go almost every day. read more

I LOVE Cool Beans! It's definitely easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for as it's a tiny drive through. They have everything from regular coffee to speciality lattes. Love this place! I am very picky on coffee and can be quite the coffee snob but this place is the best around. With 3 people, all having different taste in coffee its very rare that we can find a place that hits the mark for all of us. My mom just like coffee nothing fancy. Its hard to find coffee that isn't too bitter but she raves about theirs. My husband likes the mocha with a strong coffee flavor and theirs is perfect for him. I like my caramel and they use the davinci syrup which is the best. Its not like starbucks where you play some kind of coffee roulette, your coffee is always going to come out tasting the same as any other time you ordered it. I love that the women know me there. They see my truck, look in to see who is with me and ask "hot or cold today?" Its nice to have that kind of personable service. read more
