Such a cute coffee shop. Dog friendly, plenty of space for doing work, games and other activities to do with friends. Local scones from Levity, live music at times. I'm taking off a star because the last two times I've been, my order has been goofed up. Once I had to take back a scone because it wasn't reheated like I asked (twice) and just today I got a matcha latte with sugar granules on the bottom that created an awful texture. We stopped by after visiting the bookstore next door, and this coffeeshop turned out to be such a gem. It has a calming vibe with plenty of study space, but also feels perfect for just hanging out and chatting. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I tried their house latte, which had warm spices that was paired beautifully with oat milk--it was well-balanced, smooth, and not overly sweet (and thankfully not bitter either). Yellow Dog Coffee is a little treat in Norman! I've been going here for the past year for their coffee beans, which they do a really great job with as a local roaster here. The cafe itself is very large in size and is also packed! I love the cozy vibes that come with it. It's a great spot for studying, working, catching up with friends, or even if you just need a quick coffee run! My only complaint is that the parking lot is relatively small and just always packed when I'm coming here so parking can get tricky but definitely not a big enough issue to keep me away! read more

The overall experience was good. I feel like the Ethiopian pourover I ordered leaned too far into dark roast flavors for what I'd expect from that region. The barista might've over filled the dripper or pierced the filter paper because I had grounds at the end of my cup. The shop, otherwise, is comfortable with ample seating and tables. They appear to rely on ambient light because it was a bit dark due to the overcast conditions outside. Not the shop's fault, obviously, but something worth keeping in mind. read more

This place is in a very unusual location that is not close to any main roads but the building Itself is very modern. YDC is smack dab in the middle of a wine and charcuterie bistro and an interior design shop. My first thought upon entering was that it's very LA-like; Hip and bare-bones but funky enough to attract it crowds. They also still take Covid measures seriously. This was my first visit after purchasing a "Bean to Cup Coffee Experience" for my husband back in February. After his bean to cup experience he's done nothing but talk about coming back. We live in Lawton, OK so getting this way doesn't happen often but today I was heading to get my car serviced and decided to stop by and support this local coffee shop! Boy was I happy I made this decision!! The staff is so helpful and friendly and I just love how the shop is decorated. It is a great place to go study or hang out with friends, there's many different seating styles including some with tables and chairs and others that are just a grouping of arm chairs. The staff is very nice and helpful and the drinks are good and the everything bagel is my favorite snack. This is my favorite study spot in Norman. read more

Bottle it up and sell it as an air freshener. The coffee is decently priced and it's located right near Main Street downtown Norman. The staff are friendly and eager to serve you. There is plenty of parking down the street if the front lot is full. I ordered a cappuccino (drink in only, but I'm sure they'd pour it in a Togo cup if you ask nicely). The coffee was very deep and earthy, some of the best I've ever had. The best part, is they are so close I don't have to drive up to OKC to get a cup of awesome high end brew. You can also buy it ground or whole by the bag. I'm definitely a fan now! They offer delivery service for the beans and their cold brew if that interests you. 5 out of 5 I would definitely go there again even if it's just for the free smells. read more

The owner was there and was super friendly and told us all about the new location that will be opening soon. My only complaint (and the reason for the 4 stars vs 5) is there was only one outlet my laptop could work on (I needed a three-prong outlet) and it was blocked by folks who were occupying the table in front of it. This is such a great coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are, too! The ambiance of the space is extremely calming. It's a great place to do homework or just hang out. The staff is extremely friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Even offered to change to music while i was studying to any genre i preferred.
