Service was very friendly and efficient. Cons: I personally like when coffee shops have more speciality latte options and food options (I only saw scones). Your mileage may vary depending on your preferences. It was also quite loud, even hard to hear the barista announcing orders. This might be in part due to a pretty minimalist design, which I think that might impact the noise echoing a bit. I feel like we are in the midst of this coming of age story for Woodshed/tmrw coffee. I had a shut-the-front-door moment (after I left) when I learned that the coffee they use/sell called "tmrw coffee" is their own locally roasted coffee company. What?!?! That's so cool! I completely missed that memo when I was at Woodshed. The two brands are visually very different. Even with some sleuth work online I wasn't able to learn all I wanted to know about tmrw coffee being served at Woodshed. I kinda just want them to launch physical shop locations using the tmrw brand so I can leave the house and say, "oh, I'm just going to tmwr, do you want anything?" Woodshed's fancy tmrw coffee is tastes great. I haven't had their tea, but that's next up. I'll be back for sure. Their prices are on par with other high end coffee shops, but I feel like the coffee game is superior to most. Sadly, the conjoined shop next door is no longer in business. I legit do not have a single complaint about Woodshed, but if pressed, I'm sure I could make one up... Okay, fine fine, since you asked, here's a complaint: Woodshed makes it too easy for me to wander through Blue Seven (and Just OK) after I get my drink, and that increases the likelihood of me spending money needlessly. The prices are really good for frou-frou coffee. And taxes seem to be included on the pricing, because I paid exactly what it stated on the menu. Which is such a simple thing, but I love it when places do this; makes tip calculations easy. Also, no joke, the matcha latte I had recently was by far the best matcha latte I've had in like... years, if not ever. And the semi-stark, Scandinavian-esque vibe is a nice touch. I chatted with one of the owners (Logan); he was super chill, and I appreciated that he made the effort to engage in conversation, however brief. I wish this place all the success in the world. Oat milk find while visiting okc! Oh my heavens this place is yum. Not much to look at internally, but don't let that fool you. Walk inside and head straight to the barista. Let your guard down, forget Starbucks, and tell her what you like and see what she comes up with. She talked with us before we ordered and let us try a couple samples. She was amaze balls! The sample matchada was bliss, but i ended up ordering a dirty chai with ginger and a splash of vanilla, and of course with oat milk. I downed that baby in less than 10 minutes. Should have ordered a couple shots of espresso as a follow-up. My friends got the oat milk cold brew, which she let me try as well, and that was phenomenal. Definitely had a lot of punch in it! I really like Woodshed. The few times I've been here have made me fall in love with how pleasant everything is. First, the coffee is top notch. They have all the signs of being a third-wave coffee shop without the extreme pretentiousness. Granted, there's still a fair amount of pretentiousness, but that just comes with being a third-wave coffee shop. Second, everyone here is super chill. These guys serve up great coffee and don't act like they're a higher life form because of their coffee knowledge. Just a swell group of people. Third, I really like the way this shop is laid out. It's cozy, but not in the blankets and fireplace kind of way. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm already introverted, so this whole social distancing thing doesn't really bother me all that much. However, it's prevented me from being able to support local shops that make great coffee. As soon as things are safe enough, Woodshed will be one of the first places I'll visit. I'm really looking forward to being able to enjoy coffee shops again. read more

They both have their own doors but they also have an opening in-between so you can have coffee and shop. Such a cute, modern coffee shop! It is connected to several other local Oklahoman retail stores (Just OK and Blue Seven), which makes it super easy to mosey on over to buy a few clothing items. The staff is super friendly and social. I have only ever had an oat milk latte here, but that's just because I cannot get myself to move past it. I do not add any sweetener, the oat milk is already sweetened and it is delicious! I'm not sure if they roast their own beans or if they use a local vendor, but the roast that they use is delightful! I was actually looking for a place where I could but a Keep It Local OK card and this was the closest place that sold them when we were out running errands. I came for the KIL card but figured I'd support the business and order a drink or two. I read some Yelp reviews and read that someone claimed that they had the best matcha latte in town so obviously I had to try it. It was delicious! I used to get them all the time from Starbucks but they were often tooooo sweet as they use their syrup to sweeten them. This place was so cool, and it's flush with the stores Blue 7 and Just OK (2 spots I love to waste time in anyway). I'll be frank, I walked around the entire retail complex looking for this place. It's HARD to find. If you have similar problems, it's the sort of unlabeled doors in between Just OK and that gourmet popcorn place on May Ave. If you're scared to make a fool of yourself by entering a retail space that might just be in construction, go through the Blue 7 doors and continue South through the store! You'll end up in a quaint and minimalist coffee shop with some really great cork bar tops (standing studiers, rejoice). It's a hidden gem for anyone needing a place to study but also needed to take brief walks through a really cool retail space (built in study breaks!). Even better, though, is the SERVICE. These employees are so welcoming, so warm, and so good at their jobs! Plus, they remember their regulars' orders! And I'm not talking every-day-regulars, I mean my friends who have gone maybe a handful of times a month to study. Amazing! Don't worry, they know how to make some great coffee, too. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the menu, and it helps when you look at their long list of teas but aren't sure what to get. Plus, in true retail fashion, they have an entire shelving unit of brewing tools for purchase. In case you ever get inspired and want to create your own awesome beverages.... Just go here! I had the oat milk cold brew with house-made vanilla syrup & loved the unique texture & taste. Next time I went, I ordered the oat milk iced matcha. Also, they don't make you feel unintelligent for not knowing all the coffee & tea jargon, which sometimes I feel at other coffee shops! I will say, I did share two little cookies with a friend - they infused their teas into the cookies. One wasn't bad, the other wasn't my favorite. That was the only downside. Overall though, 5/5. I actually had stopped by this place the first few weeks that they opened. Unfortunately, I thought the entrance was only through Blue Seven and didn't know they had their own entrance at the time. Since I came around 7am, the store wasn't opened. Ever since then, I never had the chance to go back, mainly because I don't live in that area. But recently, I was doing an errand around there, and so I thought I give it another try. I still didn't see a sign for the coffee shop so I went through Blue Seven. Due to the minimalist look that they had going on; the shop didn't have that coffeehouse vibe that I'm so used to. Anyway, I ordered an oatmilk cold brew, but I guessed since the barista and I were conversing, she accidentally made me an oatly matcha cold brew instead. Which I'm glad because it's something I wouldn't order in the first place. With matcha beverages, it depends on who makes it, so it can either be too bitter or two sweet. However, in this case, this drink had a mild oat flavor, creaminess, along with a mellow sweetness to it. The flavor of the matcha wasn't too overpowering and didn't taste powdery. I'm very impressed and I can't stop thinking about this unique drink. The barista said they will have a sign soon, so that will definitely make it easier for people to find the store. If you're looking for a Starbucks-type menu, this isn't it. It's a simple shop, but they have some gems in the quality of what they are serving. I opted for a freshly steeped cup of their earl grey tea, but had the chance to try my friend's cold brew oat milk matcha latte and it was surprisingly good. I'm not a fan of matcha, so was a little adverse to trying it, but it has a nice flavour and is refreshing. There is a shop connected to this one with an array of all kinds of things, ranging from clothing to gifts and cool knick-knacks. Had a great time sipping on my tea while browsing all the goodies!
