Koala Tea is an excellent boba tea option for South Oklahoma City. Besides the traditional milk teas, flavored teas, and smoothies/slushies, Koala Tea also offers drinks not on the menu. Examples include sugarcane juice and the crazy drinks, which resemble and taste exactly to Teapioca Lounge's boba madness series. Sugarcane juice is exclusive to Koala Tea, and I don't think you could get it at any other boba tea shops. Giving the numerous boba shops popping up throughout Oklahoma City metro, Koala Tea has a place in the city due to location and providing unique drinks. It's a nice little shop that provides excellent service. It opens late and drinks are great, making it 5 stars worthy in my book. read more

I've been to many tea places in OKC, and this is by far my favorite for a multitude of reasons. The tea not only tastes fantastic, but it is so affordable compared to other places! I usually order either the mango smoothie with peach popping boba, strawberry black tea with mango popping, or the tiger tea. I've never had something bad here! My family and I always play the games they have to offer too! Longest we've stayed is 2hrs! Can't recommend this gem of a place enough! read more

I'm pretty new to the tea craze...I honestly have no idea what to order when I come. Koala's menu is easy to understand and they have something for everyone! The boba balls were tasty and soft and squishy and I actually liked the added texture to my matcha smoothie. The strawberry banana smoothie is AMAZING and so so yummy! I highly recommend the vanilla cream tea, too, it has great flavor! read more

Great macaroon great drinks even sugar cane!!! We order that and a mango fruit tea with popping boba. Kids loved it!

This is my 3rd time being in to Koala Tea. Tonight we joined some friends to play some board games. They have a huge selection of games you can pick from. Ranging from monopoly deal, spot it, to 5 second, codename, etc. all the popular games you can think of. Great place to hangout, drink tea, and chill if your not wanting to spend like crazy. For drink selections, I've tried a couple of milk teas. Honestly it's not my favorite. All three times that I've tried the teas ( matcha, sea salt, taro) it has been pretty watered down. It's missing extra powder or some extra creaminess to it. It's not too bad because it's close to my home. But if I would have to make the drive, it wouldn't be my first choice. Although I would say, I did LOVE the macaroons. Kudos to those! They have a great selections of dessert as well. So I would check those out. Very enjoyable. I love the vibe here. Super cute and they play a lot of Korean music haha super Asian of me but it's cute! Modern, muted green walls with Christmas lights still hanging. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Make sure to get ur koala tea stamped whenever you do come for extra savings! We will see you guys soon again! read more

Lost my business. From the time we opened the door to walk in, the employee was not friendly. No, smile, no "welcome in", nothing but a blank stare. Not a crack of a smile and had attitude when answering questions regarding product. Would have loved to try a tea, but don't support the negative vibes. read more

Hubby says this is pretty good!! First time we have been able to stop and get boba! Don't see many boba stations on route 66 from Cali to Oklahoma...or at least we missed them?! They were all very happy with their boba, really like the place too! The music was perfect, family friendly and not too loud! Clean bathrooms, clean tables, hand sanitizer everywhere and great quick service too! Make sure you tip them well!! Pretty good tea. Well priced actually compared to other places. I got the Cream Chai with Honey boba. It was very delicious but if I were to come again for it I'd probably ask for less sugar which I'm not sure you can ask since I didn't see any customization options on the menu. Boba was bouncy and had good flavor. Chai flavor was apparent in the tea. read more

Absolutely the best tea place!! Have been coming here for years and I highly recommend it. I've tried a wide variety of options on their menu and have loved it all. The staff are friendly and always willing to explain what different things are. They also have a wide selection of games to play and comfortable atmosphere with great music playing. Also, a great place to study. I credit getting through many assignments to them, as well as most of nursing school. Y'all rock! read more

The Tiger Tea is absolutely incredible. It's definitely worth going out of the way for and has quickly become one of my absolute favorite places to grab boba. When my wife and I first had this place, we loved it!!! We go there for their Vietnamese coffee. Had went almost every weekend until here recently. We went about a month ago and the coffee seemed to be old or something. It tasted like something is fermenting. It just tasted bad. We shook off that one bad experience, and went again today to get our Vietnamese coffee. It has the same horrible flavor as last time. I have no idea why their coffee has just turned horrible, but I hope they can go back to the way they were making it before. The three stars comes from them being a 5 star to begin with and now them being a 1 star. read more

Very spacious. Very cute. Very affordable! I love the style of this boba shop so much! The have milk tea, regular tea, smoothies, macaroons, and cakes! Honestly I can spend hours in here reading or just hanging out. I tried the Genmaicha Tea and it was true to description! It smelled and tasted like roasted rice. I ordered mine hot and it warmed me up! For sweetener, the nice worker brought out a jar of rock sugar so you can put in as much as you please. My bf ordered the almond milk tea and we both really liked it! Not too sweet and just enough of the almond flavor. The matcha macaron was tasty as well! I'm a fan. read more

Great atmosphere to hang out and just play games/chill. Drinks seem to be less flavorful and not as strong compared to other tea places. I got the taro tea and the flavor wasn't as strong as places I've tasted such as Teapioca or Kung Fu Tea. The balance of the drinks were more mellow or "watered down" as my fellow friend said when we went. But the drinks are decent quality in taste. They have a large variety of add ons such as almond pudding and herbal jelly, which I very much love. The macaroons there are amazing! Friend got the chocolate ones and they were so soft and rich in flavor. In the end it is a place worth trying out if you want to branch out from the main chain boba places. read more

Recently opened and a must try! My favorite here (as well as a staff fav) is the lychee black tea with boba! If you are an avid boba drinker, then this is the place you have to go to!! The service is great and so is the atmosphere. They have board games and card games, so it's a great place to hangout with friends and catch up. Another must is the honeydew milk tea! Also, I judge boba places on how good their boba is, and I give Koala Tea a 5/5! The boba is just the right consistency with a hint of sweetness. With hundreds of combinations, you will be able to find a drink that tastes delicious! read more

What a cute little boba shop in OKC! I've seen a lot of boba shops popping up recently and have heard of this one and have been wanting to check it out! Came in late on a Friday night but they were open. The staff was super friendly and very nice. I thought the space was really cute a cozy with plenty of board games available. I got the Mango Black Tea with peaches. They were out of some toppings (I asked for mango or fruit but they were out) but it was late in the day so not totally unexpected. They also had a cool promotion going on and I won a free drink. Their macarons looked super cute so I wanted to try the Cookies and Cream. Did not have to wait long for our drinks at all. The Mango Black Tea was super refreshing, though maybe a tad sweet, but I still loved it overall! Will definitely want to come back to the place again and again! read more

This was our first time coming in and the staff were so kind and patient. I was not sure exactly what my daughters wanted and the young lady behind the counter helped me find exactly what they wanted. The store itself is very cute! There were lots of comfy seating, board games and plenty of young people hanging out. The bubble tea was phenomenal, some of the best I've ever had. This will definitely be our new "go-to"! read more

This got to be cutest boba place :). I am just visiting OKC and need a cold tea during the heat, surprisingly found this place near hotel I stayed. I loved how comfortable and fresh the space was. It is definitely a place where you can grab some tea and relax. I personally don't like overly sweet drinks and their taro cream tea was perfect for me. I will definitely be back to try more of their drinks and items from the bakery when I'm in the area! read more

The environment is really nice. Relaxing and great for studying. The place is spacious. I tried the almond cream tea based on the reviews, and the green cream tea because it's a classic. The boba has a nice texture and tastes good. The almond cream tea was overwhelming for me. The almond flavor completely took over the tea, and it was too sweet. I usually like sugary things, but I actually had to wait for the ice to melt to drink the rest. I thought it was weird because the reviews said it was a light touch of almond. The inconsistency could be due to just opening recently, so I can understand that. The green cream tea is okay. I don't really taste the tea that much, but it isn't overly sweet. I've only tried 2 things so far, so this is all I can say for now! They also have other desserts, such as macarons and cake. read more

We love koala tea!! This is truly our favorite tea place in the city! It's just the icing on the cake that it is so close to us! They have board games, free wifi, amazing boba and fresh fruit teas, and comfortable places to sit. My favorites, just to name a few, are the kumquat green tea with fresh fruit, the black milk tea (get it in a pot if you're staying for a while and ask for coffee jelly and rock sugar. You can thank me later.), the raspberry black tea, salted caramel cream tea. Try the chamango drink!! It is off menu and depends on who is working, they may be able to make it for you. We cannot get enough of this awesome Southside/Moore staple that is truly a dream come true. There's also macarons and fresh baked goods at the front for your sweet tooth. I cannot say enough good things about this little tea place. They also have kids sized drinks too! Come for the tea, and stay for the amazing and cozy ambiance. read more

The tea shop had little to no room and a loud atmosphere. I ordered the almond tea and it has no flavor more like drinking milk. My friend ordered a matcha tea which was super bitter. Solid tea place in south OKC. I tend to go during lunch and the guy working there is always super nice -even remembers my order. Not sure if that means I go too much or not... haha.
