OKC Sweets lives up to the hype -- and then some. As the old saying goes, the early bird gets the worm... but in this case, the early bird gets the desserts. My wife and I stopped by after 2 PM, and almost everything was already gone -- which honestly says a lot all by itself. We've been wanting to try OKC Sweets ever since hearing that Stephanie Embree won the Next Level Baker competition, so even arriving late wasn't going to stop us. The only items left were three cookies: two Snickerdoodles and one Chocolate Chip. I grabbed all three without hesitation. While checking out, I chatted with the counter staff about the best times to come by and what treats are usually available. With Valentine's Day coming up, they were gearing up to highlight some seasonal offerings -- sadly, we already had an appointment we couldn't miss. Major bummer. That said, after tasting those cookies? Wow. Soft, flavorful, and perfectly balanced -- absolutely worth the hype. If this is what's left at the end of the day, I can only imagine how incredible the full display must be earlier on. All I can say is this: I'll be back -- and much earlier next time. I've been hearing lots about OKC sweets! I tried a custom ombré cake from here for a friends birthday and I've been curious about it since! I will admit I've tried to order two cakes from here and I've had trouble booking them because they're always so busy! Which I think is a good problem to have. Just a challenge for those trying to get a cake! I called and they were kind and explained if you want a cake on the weekend you should order two weeks in advance. If you'd like to pick up on a weekday you should order one week in advance! I tried a cookie when I was in store picking up my cake and it MELTED in my mouth so I will 100% be back for sweets! The cake I ordered for Father's Day was super neat, not a single imperfection on it! The taste was great but it was a bit dry, definitely will report back when I get my hands on a custom made to order cake. read more

Very pretty and modern inside, kind people behind the counter, and extremely tasty goodies. I was at the butcher next door and decided to come here on a whim. I asked for some recommendations, and ended up that the person behind me in line was a regular, so between the employee and the regular, they directed me towards some of their fine confections. The oatmeal cream pie was probably my favorite: two big, hearty oatmeal cookies with this cream on the inside that.... I don't even know. I have no idea. Some stuff that tasted fantastic and had a wonderful creamy texture. I also had a raspberry cupcake that I would murder for, and then not long after I went, my wife went back and got some of their macarons. The macarons were outstanding - a larger size than I'm used to, a nice crackle on the outside, chewy and sweet on the inside. They had several flavors and they were all bold and unique. The cake that I ordered was beautiful. The vanilla bean icing was delicious but the cake was dry and horrible. I was so disappointed. It was an expensive cake to not taste good. it was for my daughter's birthday and no one finished their piece. The cookies that are premade made there are also dry. Goodness, gracious, this is so great. Of course, we have all loved watching OKC Sweets on Instagram forever. My only regret is that it took me so long to come into the store. In fairness, as a lifelong girl who eats her feelings, sweets shops can be incredibly dangerous for me, so I tend to steer clear (especially after the holidays). But I have an amazing brother in law who is a big chocolate guy, and I had heard a lot about the triple chocolate cupcakes here, so I had the perfect excuse to come in. I'm so glad I did. From a super friendly staffer, to an immaculate shop, beautiful confections, and a clear look into the back room to see people working on even more incredible treats, I'm so glad I stopped in. I've been following this cute little bakery on Instagram since they opened in June and finally made it to their shop yesterday. So many delicious treats!! We bought all 6 cupcake flavors a few macaroons and a cake cup. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to baked goods and I was so happy when everything we purchased was excellent!! The cupcakes had tons of flavor, were moist and the frosting was all sooo good! I loved the pumpkin and salted caramel, my daughters loved the funfetti and wedding cake. You could tell that they were fresh made. The macaroons were larger in size than a lot of others I've eaten and the flavors were on point! The maple pecan was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try her sugar cookies. They look so good! I know where I'll be ordering my next custom cake from! Stopped in to grab a few macarons and a confetti cupcake with blue icing and a chocolate base. Macarons were just okay, the fill was very chemically. The cupcake tasted like it had been soaked in chemicals as well, icing was extremely soft and butter like but was overpowered by the confetti on top. I tried this place on a whim, I needed some sweets to bring into an office that I was having a meeting with for 34 people. The shop is very cute and clean inside with very friendly staff. They had a variety of flavors of cupcakes, as well as macaroons and cookies. I got the strawberries and cream, wedding cake, confetti, double chocolate, and lemon, blueberry. I also got the lemon blueberry and double chocolate for myself. The double chocolate was rich in chocolatey flavor, many chocolate cupcakes have a fake chocolate flavor, but this one tasted so rich. The lemon blueberry had real blueberries inside with a sweet lemon cream cheese frosting. both cupcakes were to die for. All of the office staff said that the cupcakes were wonderful and they will be trying them as well. It was a hit! I've been here a couple times after my good friend, Marci, referred me. The first thing you'll notice is that sweet bakery smell when walking into the bakery. The place is also neat, tidy, and super clean. All of their baked goods are on full display for all to see. Think of colorful, neatly decorated, and simple sweets as you peruse their baked goods (macarons, gigantic cookies, sugar cookies, rice crispy treats, cakes, etc.). I'm late to the OKCSweets bandwagon. I started following them on IG about 2 months ago and made it in with the family on New Year's Eve Day. Rows of perfect, petite French Macarons in dazzling colors and flavors; picture perfect cookies; amazing slices of three layer cakes; the smell of sugar in the air. The IG photos are only the beginning. We enjoyed sugar cookies with peppermint frosting, another sugar cookie with chi tea, and an oreo coated in chocolate and decorated to the nines, and the most amazing piece of 3 layered vanilla cake, complete with confetti sprinkles and shimmering sugar making the cake sparkle. Their products are decent but their customer service is poor. Deeply disappointed. Paid almost $50 for a dozen gingerbread cookies at the beginning of October. Was out of town due to family emergency and was literally on the plane flying back home when I was supposed to pick up the cookies. They said they called and left a message, probably when I was on the plane. By the time I remembered about the cookies (4 days later), they said they had to "dispose" of them and I was out of pocket. I really, really REALLY was looking forward to trying these cupcakes. I've been following them on IG since before they opened so it pains me to say my cupcakes were so dry. The frostings were delicious. But the cookies and cupcakes were crumbly and so dry I didn't even eat them. That's saying something because I'll eat anything. Especially sweets.
