They have cupcakes. And mini cupcakes. And cake. And cookies. They have a lot of things and you're bound to find something you'll like. The mini cupcakes are $1.50 apiece but if you buy a dozen, it's $15. Some of the cupcakes have fillings (e.g. Creme Brûlée, and Turtle Cheesecake) and those have been my personal favorites, but they have plenty of great flavors. The chocolate cupcakes tend to be moister than the white cupcakes on a consistent basis, but the Mocha tastes nothing like Mocha. Other Great Flavors: - Salted Caramel - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Average Flavors: - Lemon - Mocha Notes for Jeff for future purchases: Buy the two favorite flavors you mentioned above because they were easily the winners (moist, flavorful, light, creamy, etc.). I'm so happy this cupcake place is so close to my home! I used to go to the Yukon or mustang location when I watched my friends kids. I was pregnant back then and these cupcakes were definitely one of my cravings. Fast forward to now living in Edmond and now longer pregnant. I still highly enjoy these cupcakes. I love that you can choose from mini or standard size. I decided to try several flavors in the mini version. They were all moist and delicious. These cupcakes are on the more dense side which I prefer. My favorites were the birthday cake, German chocolate cake, turtle cheesecake, and crème brûlée. They also offer ice cream, Decorated ice cream cones, cookies, and cookie sandwiches. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area! read more

Cute cupcake store- lots of flavors to choose from. They also offer mini cupcakes, custom cakes and other desserts. I missed out on the brownies with icing. This is my favorite place to stop when we have a family emergency cupcake craving. We like to pop in and get the day-old dozen for a reduced price. They are still very tasty and not dry at all. I would have to say my favorite flavor was the vanilla birthday cake. I also enjoyed vanilla thrilla, Crème brûlée and cookies and cream. My husband and kids love all the other flavors. Seems the father does not like being told his mini cakes were a little dry I get it new place and all emailing me saying they reached out if I wanted a refund or a coupon. I was nice I was never offered a refund and the coupon had to be used the same day it was sent I just deleted it cause I was not looking for either I wished them well and I know they are new and all that and he just comes back saying I kept saying bad things I did one survey and I just said they tasted and looked the same I'm sorry but that how I felt I'm sure others may feel a different way I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings and wished you all the success. I'm super bummed about a bad review but this place is a disappointment. The staff is WONDERFUL, the building is cute and clean, the cupcakes are soooo pretty so we were really hopeful. Buttersweet was our FAVE and we were so sad when they left. We saw this place opened in its spot and got so excited so we tried it. The flavors look the same and the appearance is the same as well so we were super pumped!! First time we went we just got a bunch of minis bc we wanted to sample them all. The flavor was amazing but man they were DRY!!!! We gave them the benefit of the doubt bc they were small and maybe it was harder to cook. The next time we got a bunch of full size ones to try and save dang problem. Maybe it was bad luck but so disappointing!!! We were really excited about another dessert shop close to home. Also... I feel 100% confident that the majority of good reviews are from original buttersweet reviews and not the new shop. read more

Buttersweet is one of my favorite places in Edmond! They have a wonderful selection of cupcakes, macaroons, and more. To date, we have tried their variety of macaroons and Creme Brûlée cupcakes. The macaroons are really, really flavorful--so much so that we were taken aback. The cupcakes were absolutely perfect, we even took a few containers of the mini cupcakes to our family holiday out of town and everyone raved about them. If you've got a sweet tooth or are looking for a great place to buy cupcakes or other baked goods, definitely give Buttersweet a try! read more

I have their coffee almost everyday. It's very good and they have a good syrup selection! My favorite is the brown sugar cinnamon! I've also tried their drip coffee and that's pretty good. In terms of cupcakes they are super moist and never lacking in flavor! My personal favorites are the lemon and salted caramel. I love how they have season cupcake flavors. I would highly recommend to my family and friends! read more

Had I known how incredibly tasty Buttersweets cupcakes were, I would have stopped in sooner!!! I got to try an assortment of their mini cupcakes, and let me tell you...I was not disappointed once! Every cupcake was moist and perfectly made, for me the mini cupcakes were just right, that way I wasn't overwhelmed with extreme sweetness and I can honestly say I felt like each cupcake had just the right amount of sweetness! My absolute favorite cupcake was the German Chocolate! German chocolate is my favorite Cake and I can be a bit of a snob about it, but these German Chocolate cupcakes were divine!!! Cute little cupcake spot I found while driving aimlessly around the area trying to get familiar with my surroundings. I was well welcomed upon entering and she was patient as I told her that it was my first time there and I just wanted to take a minute to look over the variety. Since I'm a lover of cakes, I decided to try different flavors in the mini cupcakes. So the flavors I picked were: creme brulee, Pink Champagne flavor of the day, chocolate brownie, something with sprinkles on top, lemon and wedding cake. I have to be honest, they were all really good. I'd have to say my favorite was the creme brulee! The texture was great, I tend to like my cake a bit more moist, but being that these were mini cupcakes, they worked out well. I think 3 of these are probably equivalent to one regular size cupcake. So the minis are a good way to get a tasting without going overboard. Although I love cake, I can't be too friendly with these folks because I'm watching my height ;) read more

We love Buttersweet!!! We always experience friendly customer service, even when we "dine-in" with my little ones, who love sitting at the table. This is the only cupcake place that has true flavors to match their flavor (it isn't just a dollop of sweetness on the cupcake). Their parfaits are delicious, I love their random flavor of the day, and miscellaneous products to buy. I will always be a return customer! read more

Wow! This place is amazing! Such a fun bakery with spectacular twist of different items! They have cups with cake and icing, parfaits! They have cookie dough in a cup! Regular and mini cupcakes! And for the real sweet tooth eaters, shot cups of frosting! Since it was our 11th wedding day we opted for a combination of mini cupcakes - Oreo, cream brûlée, salted caramel, birthday cake, peanut butter, and red velvet! We thought they were going to be $7.50 but actually they were $16 - why you ask? The $7.50 dozen is the day old cupcakes....you can take the deal they are so moist and delicious I am positive a day later they will be fine! So I made the mistake of trying to get something for the family on Valentine day. I stopped in on a whim because what did I have to lose? To my surprise they had just enough cupcakes that I could try quite a few. I've never been here before but the staff was super friendly and working so hard to put out more cupcakes as fast as they could. ( I think the guy told me this was their first Valentine's.) The frosting flavors and textures were very consistent and pleasant the cake itself was moist and good flavor and I felt the icing to cake ratio was balanced. Too often cupcakes places I've tried seem to compensate blah cupcakes with an obscene amount of icing. Even though I just ate the last cupcake today - why would you waste a cupcake? - I still though it was pretty good and held up well. We will be back! I have really been enjoying this new cupcake shop...part of that could be proximity! The texture of the cake is different than others - more compact, yet fluffier. The staff is super friendly and doesn't rush you to make a choice. They have 2 cupcake sizes, when you just need a small amount to satisfy your sweet tooth, or want to try more than one flavor! I'm definitely hooked on the mocha. They also offer cake by the slice and cake in cups. I think the cake slices could be presented better- they look like potluck leftovers. read more

First of all, this shop has lots of variety. You're sure to find something that interests everyone in your group. For me it was parfaits. I love a good frosting...but at this shop it was waaay too sweet (and for me that's really saying something). I couldn't finish my treat (and didn't want to)...just too much. Really a shame because the variety is great and I would've liked to make this a regular stop. Tried on two occasions and had the sam experience both times. read more

Of the cupcake places in NW OKC, this one is the best. They do a good job executing most of their flavors. Everything tastes homemade, rather than tub frosting. A couple they miss on are red velvet and cookies and cream. The red velvet isn't as good as I've had at other places, but it's decent. The cookies and cream is dry. They have cupcakes for sale daily that are left overs from the previous day. These are still great and worth the price. The macarons are fantastic as well. The staff are nice and helpful, even when you're being indecisive about flavors. read more

Attention to detail was superb! Order all 14 flavors from our home in Ohio for our daughter who works in Oklahoma City. It could not have gone better. The cupcakes were ready when promised and are beautiful. And they taste better than the look (according to our daughter). Such a simple request of a happy birthday wish was handled in a really heart warming way. Covid has limited our travel and it was hard not being with family on a big birthday. Buttersweet helped easy some of the sadness of separation. read more

We stopped in for a quick slice of pie to go. The place had a steady flow of customers, but there was only one person working behind the counter. My wife was ready to head out, but I decided to stick it out since we weren't in a rush. Once we were able to order, things moved quickly, and our pie was ready within a few minutes. That said, the initial wait was a bit frustrating--especially for what we expected to be a quick stop. It felt like they may have been short-staffed, which can happen, but it did impact the overall experience this time around. Because of that, I'm landing at 3 stars for this visit, even though I've rated them higher in the past. Still a place I like, just not their best showing today.
