Maybe I just have bad luck. I went here when they opened today. Are they remodeling? It was very... basement-y in there. I went to look at the menu - but it was a menu for body products. No cheesecake menu, no labels on the items in the case. The worker nicely told me every flavor. No prices. I picked out two. They are about the size of a slice from Cheesecake Factory. But they were TWELVE AMERICAN DOLLARS EACH. And chocolate sauce messily on the packaging. Turtle was very rich, very good. Had a graduation party and ordered 3 cheese cakes, traditional, cinnamon roll, and the one with the pretzel crust and Carmel. Had 20+ people and everyone was raving about them. I really thought the cinnamon roll would be the hit ( and it's a 9 out of 10 easy for me) but the crowd fav was the pretzel one. It was perfect and super delicious, my only critique would be, put some signage on the box or little toothpick signs or something. Owner said she messed up my order! She was nice about it and I understand people we all make mistakes! Cheesecake was okay not the best I ever had in my opinion! She only offered me a single cheesecake at $13 or $10 back! Didn't make any sense to me. She even said I will take a 3 dollar lost really what about the $10 tip she got up front! Everything about this place is awesome. The cheesecake, the ambiance, the service, EVERYTHING! The people who own this place work so hard and are so happy to be there! They were so kind, even though the line was out the door. I went around 5:30 as they just restocked cheesecakes and they were trying to serve us as well as they could as they had already sold out of the featured flavors that day. I got a raspberry cheesecake (yum!) and a tennessee whiskey cheesecake (yum yum yum!). I included a picture of the raspberry (half eaten because i was so excited), however i got the other one for my friend so i didn't get a picture. She loved it though! Been trying to track this place down when it's open and finally got in 30 mins before close. The service was pleasant but they only had 4 flavors to choose from. Selected the original and had it topped with strawberry glaze and strawberries. Also got the Tennessee Whiskey with pecans on the side due to nut allergies. Both were creamy, thick and so good. The TN whiskey was topped with a caramel that tasted like butter toffee. The crust to cheesecake ratio was perfect and the size of each is shareable by two easily. Very, very good cheesecakes. A local, family owned shop with nothing but cheesecake!? Count me in! We had to stop here during our cross country road trip and we are certainly glad we did! We were greeted by an extremely nice guy (I believe the owner) who took time to explain every cheesecake available that day in great detail. One of those guys who treats you like family as soon as you meet him. We definitely felt welcome and at home! We opted for the "Butta Love" (peanut butter) and "Crazy Over Cookie Dough" (cookie dough.. duh). The peanut butter one is actually light and fluffy throughout. I've had other peanut butter cheesecakes that can be too thick, rich and a little overwhelming. Ya know, the kind where you take one bite and you've had enough. Not this one. (Which I don't know if that's a pro or con... I could definitely eat the whole thing to myself and not feel like I needed an ICU bed due to a sugar coma. Meaning my waistline would take a hit if I lived close). The cookie dough one.. absolutely ridiculous. The crust is a perfectly cooked cookie... the cream cheese is filled with pieces of cookie dough, I can't think of a better combination. Just to add to the type of business this is, while we were in there a young girl came in saying her car died out front. After helping us, the guy went out to his car and grabbed cables and helped jump her car. You can really tell these are amazing people. Not Cho Cheesecake is an amazing little treasure in Bethany. They have different homemade cheesecakes. They offer 'me' size, which is the size of an individual cupcake, a 'we' size is for two to share, 3-4". They also make 'us' sizes, a 6" and an 8". When I have visited, they have only had the 'we' size available for purchase, I think the other sizes are special order. They have a cold case with the days available options displayed for you to drool over! It is super hard to try and pick just one! They have an amazing homemade crust with cheesecake flavors that include cherry, strawberry, bacon, cookie and creme, Tennessee whiskey. You can even get a plain cheese cake if that's your style! Their flavors change daily. They are always good to offer a napkins and plastic fork, for those of us who can't get to the car fast enough to take the first bite! It is a very small store. After following their social media for so long, I finally tried Not Cho Cheesecake. Let me tell you, this is some of the best cheesecake I've ever had! I went on a week night a little before 6, so thankfully there was street parking available right in front of the shop. When I walked in a gentleman was waiting for his custom order, and the employees were in the back getting it. This gave me plenty of time to look over the available flavor options in the display case. They had almost all their flavors in stock, but many of them only had about only a few of their 'We' sized (4") cheesecakes left for the day. Thankfully all of the flavors I wanted to try were in stock, so I spent the majority of my time looking at the display going back and forth about what I wanted. I finally decided on the Peach Cobbler cheesecake when the owner (Glen) and an employee walked into the lobby from the kitchen. Both gentlemen greeted me kindly. Glen bagged the custom order for the gentleman waiting and addressed him by name when doing so (something I think is a really nice person touch.) The young employee began informing me of the flavor options available; which was very kind, but I quickly let him know I was getting the Peach Cobbler cheesecake. The cheesecake filling was so rich, almost mousse-like in texture. It was perfectly sweetened, and the handmade graham cracker crust was packed full of flavor (definitely picked up soft notes of cinnamon). The peach topping and crumble with caramel drizzle were the icing on the (cheese)cake for me. I had to stop myself from eating the whole cheesecake in one go. The 'We' sized is ideal to split, but I'm not too sure this is a dessert I'd personally be willing to share. I took my dessert to go, but their is a small lobby area with about 3-4 tables to sit at if you'd like to enjoy your cheesecake there. The area has a few other restaurants and shops, so Not Cho Cheesecake would be a great way to end a day if you're spending time in the area. read more

Best cheesecake I've ever had! I've been wanting to check them out since learning they are a Black owned AND veteran owned business. From my understanding, there have pick up times for preordered cakes before 3pm, then pick up hours for non preordered items between 3-6pm. Be sure to contact them as hours/days may change due to adjusting to covid. Now to the cheesecakes-- We ordered the "we" size of the strawberry no shortcake, Tennessee whiskey, and banana pudding. All three were incredible, but my favorite was the strawberry. I've always been a fan of the classic cheesecake, and they have nailed it. The flavor and texture are spot on. I've heard that this place had good cheesecake, so I was going to surprise my coworkers with some today. So I went on my lunch break and stopped by. I also heard they have long lines, so I went at noon. It turns out they weren't opened yet. A worker was sitting outside told me they would open in a couple of minutes. However, after awkwardly standing outside for 15 min, I left. If he gave a reason why they would open late, that would be understandable, but he didn't.
