    Review # 99. (Airpark Coffee)…read more Location: 1710 Spoke Street, OKC, OK 73108, near Terminal Commons, in the new business area south of Wheeler Ferris Wheel. Soft/Grand Opening: Sat-Sun, 19-20 Jun 2021. They'll have a soft opening status this coming week and probably do their grand opening next weekend. Hours: Temporary hours during soft and grand opening are: Sun-Sat: 12-3pm, then they'll move to Sun-Sat: 7am-7pm. Shop: It's in the new business area North of The Big Friendly and Terminal Commons, in the Bldgs where the townhomes are. Coffee: they offer espresso, Americano, cortado, cappuccino, Latté, chai Latté, matcha Latté. The prices range from $3.5-$5. Filter Coffee: They offer 5 filter coffee drinks as of now, and say they'll be changing options out as they go along. The beans are natural , natural washed, washed, and anaerobic washed fermentation. They range from $3.5-$5. The coffee beans they use are from Coffee Project NY and Cat and Cloud Coffee, based in San Jose, CA. Signature Drinks: Airpark Soda $5.5 with orange and sarsaparilla bitters; and Lifelong Dream $6.5 which has sweet vanilla cream and orange juice served with a cold brew popsicle. Teas: They offer 7 tea drinks, ranging from $3.75-$4.5. The teas are from Hugo Tea and Inari Tea. They range from white tea, green tea, oolong tea, black tea, and herbal tea. You can get the coffee and tea drinks hot or iced. Company: the owners are Josh, RC, and Luke. They went to college together and talked about opening a coffee shop together. See their Instagram page foe updates. I got the Colombia Finca El Paseo, served hot, $5, which is the higher end of the filtered coffee. It's anaerobic washed fermentation, with notes of jolly rancher, melon, rum, and raspberry lemonade. I'm in love with this coffee, it's mildly sweet and smooth, but not too sweet and I didn't get any syrups added. The Airpark Soda, with sarsaparilla bitters and orange twist, is very refreshing and delicious with a sweet taste without being overpowering on the sweet side. {posted on Sun, 20 Jun 2021}

    So, I have a confession. I originally planned to go to another bakery in the Capitol Hill area, but…read morethey closed very early in the day. I needed treats for a party, and a quick Yelp search found this place nearby. Am I ever glad that the first place was closed, as otherwise I never would have found this hidden gem. It's owned by a mother and daughter team, with the daughter baking everything from scratch, on premises, as it is used. Like, the chocolate chip cookies literally came fresh out of the oven as I walked in the door. I ended up ordering a bunch of things, including some macarons, a muffin, some scones, some peppermint/candy cane cheesecake bars, and a bunch of chocolate chip cookies. Especially with macarons (which can be super expensive), it was ridiculously reasonable. Less than $25, which is a steal for all I got. Also, I ended up sitting and eating the muffin on premises. First off, the muffin was delicious. Often baked goods are sickeningly sweet, and this was not. It was a lemon raspberry, and it was the perfect combination of sweet and tart. I also may or may not have taken one of the cookies I bought for the party, and it was still ooey-gooey in the middle, and divine. We will see if they make it to the party intact, or if I have one with a cold glass of milk. The mother and daughter are so sweet and genuinely care about their business. They also do a lot of baking, and you can contact them for special orders. Also, there is a TON of free parking right out front, and they're open until 9pm most weeknights, AND they have a huge coffee menu. This is a hidden gem, and I think it's going to be very crowded very soon, so I suggest you get there now.

    La Confection - I think they change their menu very frequently, as everything is baked fresh in house.

    After some brunch, we decided to try Quincy's since they moved to a new location. First, just so…read moreyou know when looking for Quincy's, it's in a small strip of businesses next to each other without much signage. The most signage was a piece of paper that said Quincy's so keep an eye out. Their choices were pretty slim. They might have had at most 8 different choices, which is fine, but only one of each for a few items. This was about 10am. Their specialty chocolate pastry was really good. It had a good chocolate flavor without being too indulgent. Their blueberry lemon scone was not good at all. Super dry, the flavor was more of flour if anything. I also bought a sugar cookie which my daughter loved, but I just couldn't get over paying $6 for the scone my husband and I didn't care for. Otherwise the other two items were good. No seating, so don't plan to hang around. They also don't have any coffee either at this location.

I love their coffee & pastries! If I could help you choose one pastry their chocolate babka I couldn't recommend more. I'll attach photos! Coffee would be their Dulce miel or ask about their seasonal drinks! Keep in mind It is an open space so people will host meetings or people gather but nothing some headphones can't solve. They also have a patio where you can sit with tables. There's a restaurant and bar also located within the premises would definitely check those out. They also host events or wine nights definitely ask the staff!
