This was my first time in Oklahoma, and I was craving breakfast. I searched Google for the best restaurants near my hotel and decided on Granny's Kitchen. They have two locations, but I chose the one with the higher ratings. It was a little out of the way, but it was absolutely worth it. I took an Uber from my hotel, which was about a 15-minute drive. When I arrived around 12:15 p.m., I walked inside and the restaurant was quiet as a mouse. I was immediately greeted and seated at a table by the bar. A few moments later, my waiter, Gunner, came over and gave me a great recommendation. I was originally going to order an apple mimosa, but he suggested the Peach Bellini instead--and he was absolutely right! It had the perfect amount of sweetness, and it even came with edible glitter, which I had never seen before. It was such a cute and unique touch. Gunner was incredibly hospitable, kind, and attentive, not just to me but to all of his customers. The staff was very small--just three employees working hard to take orders and serve food and drinks--and they handled everything so well. I really commend them for their excellent service. 10/10, I highly recommend Granny's Kitchen, and I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in Oklahoma! read more

When this location opened it was great. The customer service was excellent. I came in today and it's a night and day difference. The hosts/ server had some family come in after we did and was served meals before us. When are food arrived another server had brought it out and was just putting random food on the table. One plate of food wasn't even ours. My daughter ordered French toast and there was barely any egg wash on the toast. The service has drastically changed here. I don't think I'll be back.. read more

My friend (visiting from Oregon) and I came in to Granny's Kitchen in Yukon for the first time yesterday. (We were seeing each other for the first time in 40 years! We both grew up in OKC, then both moved away to different parts of the Pacific Northwest. I'm very happily back now, and she was passing through.) This place totally served our needs. We were able to sit at a little distance from other customers so we could chat it up comfortably (and laugh and cry remembering times past with a little privacy), we were offered the first-timers' cinnamon rolls (which yay and yum and thank you!), and we enjoyed big plates of reasonably-priced down-home food (plenty to bring home and not have to cook later). Our friendly server Kourtney was just the right amount of attentive, checking in to be sure each thing she brought us was what we wanted, and staying available for us to call over for anything. We had a delightful time, and we'll be back -- my friend is hopefully moving back home! read more

We had a late Sunday breakfast and it was great! Karaleigh was our server and she was on point. We ordered the chicken and waffles Benedict and I was thrilled to be able to get chicken and waffles WITH two eggs and no add on fee, lol. My husband got el Vaquero and it was very tasty. They were lots of brunch cocktails to choose from. We didn't have to wait, which was unusual for Sunday. Please note they do not take reservations. We made a reservation via Yelp, but something is not correct as they don't take reservations. We reported it to our server... hopefully it gets fixed. We will be back. read more

Our first Granny experience was in Stillwater so I was excited to try the new location closer to home. We got a huge booth in the bar. Cadence was our server! Phenomenal! She kept my coffee filled & my husband's Dr. Pepper full. We started with cinnamon rolls. They were hot & delicious. Paired perfectly with my banana smoothie. My daughter was visiting from NY. She said her Bloody Mary was amazing. She ordered the Nasty Granny. Be prepared!! That chicken fried steak covered her platter. First time at this pretty new location in Yukon. Wasn't busy so seated and drink order taken. Menu is large, so took us a bit to decide. I think we have only eaten a couple time on South side and not impressed with what we ordered. I ordered the Biscuits with gravy ,Ham,sausage, cheese. This was very good. Also came with hashbrowns. Daughter ordered the Quesadilla but said not as crisp inside as she has had before. Service was good. Still seems $$ for a simple breakfast in a simple atmosphere. read more

Our server Katie was amazing and super sweet! Helping us navigate the menu, as it was our first time dining here. We got the cowboy skillet with sausage links, a side of bourbon bacon, and upgraded my pancake/biscuit side to a French toast cinnamon roll - the Nasty Granny (chicken fried steak), apple mimosa and the absolute greyhound mimosa! We had a great time here. Waitress was very attentive, Lana? Maybe. Free ciinnamon rolls and great drinks to start. Then our order came out as if to say "magazine cover". I had the biscuit and gravy half order, and my husband had the porker, half order. I'll post a picture. Had a great breakfast at Granny's Kitchen this morning. The service really stood out--Alexis Andrews was friendly, fast, and super attentive without. We ordered the chicken fried steak and a country skillet, and both were excellent. The chicken fried steak was a huge portion and cooked just right, and the skillet was packed with flavor. The free cinnamon roll was a nice surprise and definitely worth it, and the iced coffee hit the spot. Overall, just a solid, no-complaints kind of breakfast spot. We'll definitely be back. read more

Finding Granny's was perfect for us two foodies. We had our complimentary first time customers cinnamon roll, we both generally just like the centers of cinnamon rolls, but granny's was devoured by us. There was none left. We shared a nasty grandma bfast. We're chicken fried steak snobs and this hands down is the best we've ever had. It's plenty for two to share or one hungry person to fully enjoy. Good choice for breakfast / brunch. The complimentary cinnamon roll was really good. I got the half serving pig biscuit and the hubby got the SOS. Half is definitely the way to go as the portions are huge. I'm planning my bribe to find out how they make their breakfast potatoes. Crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. I'm super picky about my gravy (Grandma spoiled me for life!), and I was happy to find I didn't need to add salt or pepper to my gravy here. The service was great. All the staff were very friendly. We took a while to place our order, and there was no push to hurry. The atmosphere is a comfortable mix of homey diner and sports bar. Not sure how they pulled that off, but I liked it. Suitable for pretty much all ages and occasions except romantic dates (the TVs are too distracting for that). TL;DR: Good gravy, good breakfast. read more

If you want good customer service don't go here. The worst experience. Didn't get to try the food because of the horrible customer service.The place where we were seated was dirty. We sat at the table and waited 20 minutes. No one came to ask for our order. There wasn't many people there. I don't understand why sit people and not serve them. We had to leave. If I could give 0 stars I would! Order from and went many times and every single time they either messed something up or forgot it all together. This last time I ordered pick up, I got there when it said it was going to be ready and when I went to get it they said 30 minutes. I was okay with this and waited for 30 minutes plus. After around 1 hour I asked about my meal again and they said they didn't know anything about it!!! People that arrived there at the same time to sit down and eat got their food before I was talked to again!!! I talked to a manager and got nothing but I don't knows. Visiting my children and grandchildren from Florida on my last day in OKC.My daughter invites me to breakfast place called Granny's kitchen. The food was amazing, great flavor and well prepare. The server Jaidah was outstanding , very attentive and diligent, And the barista Anndrea made my daughter the best coffee she's ever had at a restaurant. To whom it may concern, Hello people I am a recent customer at the fine establishment called Granny's Kitchen I have to say not bad food at all but If you like apple juice and your feeling Apple juice don't get it here you will be better off going to Walmart and getting a 64oz bottle of apple juice for $2.72 rather then coming to granny's kitchen and spending $5 for one glass of it. Since we ordered ours to go, I'm not sure if there is normally something served with it that we missed. The gentleman working behind the counter was kind and welcoming. We chatted with him for a bit and he told us his wife is the one who is Czech, which made the stop feel even more personal. Such a fun little discovery in Yukon and exactly the kind of local stop we love finding while traveling Route 66.
