Just wanted to try somewhere new and should have kept going. Walked in very happy and excited! Was greeted by a not to happy staff. This was my first time here so I did ask what a lot of items were. I can tell bey her tone and demeanor she was irritated or bothered that I DID NOT KNOW. I picked the lemon bar, carrot cake and berry crust (?). The lemon had a good flavor but not moist at all. The berry crust thing was horrible, dry and basically it was crust. The carrot cake was moist but needed more flavor, but it was ok. Overall I would save my money and try a different bakery if I were you. I even completed a "how was our service receipt"... the response I got was they were overwhelmed at the time but there was no one in there at that time. read more

We came back for a bite and the only complaint I have is that they aren't serving breakfast right now. Completely understand why and they still have awesome sandwiches and sweet treats. Looking for a good deli sandwich, we stopped in here. They did not disappoint!! My club was piled so high I couldn't fit it in my mouth. My boyfriend and I drove 45 minutes today and spent $60 here. We got food and some baked goods. All I asked after spending so much is if they could simply put a little more pistachio cream or give me a little on the side and it was just a big deal. The lady argued with me and said she measures them out. Basically long story short they are extremely skimpy and they don't treat customers that spend a lot of money there good. They clearly don't care about future business because we will not be coming back after being treated like this. Sometimes I don't want to Yelp about an eatery because I just want to keep the best secrets to myself. Just Baked is one of those :) The husband and I finally found the right time to haul ourselves to Just Baked yesterday after having it on our "list" for a while. The two little pigs that we are we went there for a sugar fix before lunch to ensure that we will get our dessert in case we get too stuffed from our meal. It was around 10am when we got there and there were no other customers in the shop so we were able to take our time studying the offerings behind the glass. I love the shop interior with the aquamarine theme with wooden tables. All looked very neat and clean. The lovely lady that took care of us was more than accommodating when she gave us a run down of the goodies. She said she was still in the process of bringing out items for the display but we were happy with what we saw. Everything looked tantalising and while I was indecisive the husband already got his key lime tart and suggested I get a slice of cake and not a cupcake (my weakness). OK, that helped me decide on a piece of raspberry lemonade cake and a couple of macarons. I LOVE macarons and haven't been able to find one that I like here in OKC yet. I decided on a raspberry and a strawberry cheesecake macaron. The keylime tart was delectable. The keylime cream was just the right tartness and sweetness perfect. The crust was like a cookie crust, it was buttery and gave a nice firm bite. The husband ate so quickly I didn't get the chance to steal more than he was willing to share .... then he tried my raspberry lemonade cake and kept saying "Wow, now that's a good cake!" Turned out he pretty much ate most of it because I was too slow ... The macarons were simply delightful and exactly how they're supposed to be, crisp at first bite and then soft but chewy in the centre. They were not overly sweet either. I love macarons that have sour curds but haven't found any in OKC yet, but the texture of these were the best I've had here so far. As for the husband, he hasn't stopped talking about Just Baked since and said we need to go back for breakfast soon. read more

I stopped in a few months ago after seeing a review they needed to increase business to be able to keep doors open. I love to support locals in our community who are raising their kids, living near us. I sure hope business has increased, because they have great food! I have tried so many things, some i would order again, some aren't my favorite, but may be yours. I love the caramel cinnamon rolls. They make their caramel, and it is so good! The only bad on these is other people love them too and they run out! I had a turtle cheesecake and it was so good. I can't explain how good...one of my favorite desserts I've ever had. My husband loves the carrot cake, it is very good, but for me, has a bit too much cinnamon, but that is personal preference. It is a good moist cake. They do have daily specials. One of my favorite is the pretzel rolls, served with your choice of queso or spinach artichoke dip. So good! The queso is a perfect pairing. If you are in the area, or want a drive, stop in. I had the Denver breakfast burritos and a slice of turtle cheesecake. My husband had their steak breakfast burrito and a slice of Banana pudding cheesecake. We both enjoyed our food. The burritos could use a little salt and pepper, but I understand not everyone wants that or needs that due to medical reasons. Once I added seasoning, the burrito was delicious! My husband loved his cheesecake and I enjoyed mine. He tried both cheesecakes and voted for the banana one. I liked that the Turtle cheesecake wasn't too sweet, just sweet enough. Want to give a thumbs up to this nice eatery. Just had one of their breakfast burritos. I come from the southwest Texas panhandle and will declare that, the breakfast burrito capital of the entire Solar system. Today I had a classic egg, bacon, cheese, jalapeño, potato burrito, with their red salsa, that was just perfect. It was a great meal. I don't think it's fair for this place to have a 2 star based on one review. I love me some bakery sweets so you better believe I was going to check this place out. Every dessert I've had here has been great. Whether it's cookies, cakes, or pies, I've enjoyed them all. But by far, the best thing I had was the Strawberry Cobbler. The owner said she doesn't make it too often as the demand isn't high, but I need to buy a whole one sometime. Paired with the homemade ice cream, it was fantastic. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because I haven't been too impressed with the entrees. But if you come here, you're here for the desserts, not sandwiches or soup. I love this place! The fact that I walked in and became overwhelmed at the massive selection of treats was one thing, but I read the menu and realized they have even more than just treats. Breakfast of biscuits and gravy are also offered, along with their daily specials. Just Baked assisted in feeding me during a week long Writing Summit I participated in last week. Their treats (every cookie, cupcake, apple claw thingy, and scrumptious lemon square) ended up being my daily rewards for each presentation completed.
