Pretty small for how expensive it is. It could at least come with some chips or a side.

Came in and expected to be super impressed. The menu is small but I found the turkey avocado croissant and was excited to try it. It's $8 I think and my boyfriends was about the same because our total was $16. I'm sorry but I can go get a small burger, hotdog, and a regular fry from Five Guys for the same price and actually feel full. Plus I have leftovers! I have already ate my tiny Trump hands sized sandwich and I could eat probably two more to fill me up. This should at least come with a side for this steep price. The sandwich was just ok and my croissant was smashed. Very disappointed. Where should I go to fill up the rest of my stomach?

    Menu w/prices. Sorry so small.

If I had to use one word to describe McLaren's, it would be: UNDERWHELMING. Two words, you ask? OVER PRICED. A patient of the office I work at brought me a gift card for this place yesterday, so of course I went to check it out. I couldn't find prices at any of the places I checked online, so I wasn't sure what to expect. (Not to worry for all of you planning a visit, I've uploaded a photo.) I pulled in to a packed parking lot which is usually a good sign. The dining area was pretty full, mostly of older ladies chatting while having lunch. There was no line, which was nice. After glancing at the menu, I knew that if I was paying with my own money, I would have turned and walked out, but since I had a gift card, I didn't. I ordered a spinach quiche, which says it comes with a side of fruit salad, and I also ordered a cup of the Wisconsin Cheddar soup. I was told to have a seat and they would call me up when it was ready and I'd pay then. I was surprised at how small the quiche was considering it was two quarters shy of $10. (That's right. $9.50 for a Banquet Pot Pie size quiche.) The soup came the size I expected to see. And it also came with a mint. Once I got to my table, I realized there was no fruit salad so I had to go ask if that was a thing or not. The girl at the front quickly realized she forgot and turned to the mini fridge behind her and handed me a tiny cup of fruit. (See photo for entire meal.) My order came out to almost $14. I kind of feel ripped off to be completely honest. The quiche was soggy. Like it was cooked over the weekend and then popped in the microwave when I ordered it. Tasted like dog breath. You could tell that if it were fresh, the crust would be crispy and flaky, but it was incredibly wet. I couldn't finish it. The soup tasted like an off brand canned soup you'd get at Walmart and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it was. Sadly, the fruit is the only thing that tasted good and unfortunately that was the smallest portioned thing at my table. As I was dining, I was observing the workers. I noticed a lot of food touching and a lot of no hand washing. There was a lot of hands being wiped on the side of their pants, though, as to "clean" them before touching something else. So beware if you have any type of food allergy. There was a lot of cross contamination going on. One girl stuck her hand in a bucket of soapy, blue water to fish out the rag to wipe down tables, then she returned the rag and went back to making food. The sink was visible and she didn't use it. Needless to say, I have $11 left on my gift card and if I do happen to go back, I'll just be buying cookies.

Would've never known of this secret gem if it wasn't for discover Oklahoma! Welcoming faces as you walk in and very polite people working. Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant is to die for, fresh and delicious! The bakery items are very yummy as well! Definitely will be back!

One of OKC's best gems when it comes to "hole in the wall" bakeries. And after their move to the shopping center across the way, that hole in the wall has gotten a bit bigger with ample seating for the lunchtime set. It's delightfully old-school with its Mary Engelbreit wallpaper and its cute encouragement decals on the walls. The cookies. Oh the cookies. The chocolate chip and snickerdoodles are the bomb dot com, with just the right amount of gooey in the middle even once cooled. Sugar cookies aren't normally my "jam" but their decorated ones are as cute as they are tasty. Big highlight is Easter where they make adorable bunnies with marshmallow tails. When in the OKC area, be sure to visit this haven of deliciousness.

One of my favorite places in south Edmond. I've been coming for 20 years. While the food selection is not very large, what they have is good. The cookies and dessert bars are fabulous. The sandwiches are also tasty. Portions of both are just right. The staff at McLaren's are always very nice and helpful and the 'new' location accommodates many more customers. My only request would be coffee :-)

Its OK. The food is good but not great and it is pretty expensive for what you get. If you go over lunch expect a longer wait

Lied about ingredients in food. I have food allergies, so spent rest of day covered in hives and in the bathroom. Thanks.

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.

Finally, a top-tier Asian bakery in OK!…read more If you live in Oklahoma, you know the struggle: there aren't many options for authentic Asian pastries, and even fewer that actually thrive. 85°C Bakery Cafe is a breath of fresh air and easily one of the better spots in the area. You can really tell everything is baked fresh that morning. The textures are spot on--soft, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their drink menu is near-perfection. Both the Milk Tea and Thai Tea taste incredibly authentic, which is hard to find around here. They aren't just sugar-bombs; you can actually taste the quality of the tea. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is a safety concern for those with allergies. Unlike Tous Les Jours, which clearly lists ingredients/allergens by each pastry, 85°C is a bit more vague at the display. As someone who has to be careful about what's in my food, I'd love to see them adopt a more transparent labeling system so I don't have to guess or ask for every item. The Verdict: Delicious, fresh, and a must-visit for your pastry fix. Just be cautious if you have specific dietary restrictions!

Well, 85°C didn't live up to the hype. The bread prices are fantastic, so if I needed to bring a…read morebunch of snacks to an event, I'd consider it--but overall, everything was too sweet. They also wouldn't heat up the savory bun, which was disappointing. It would've been much better warm, but the cashier said no and clearly didn't care. Service was speedy, but our cashier was unfriendly. The coffee was overpriced and too sweet, and it needed stirring--but you can't stir it with the boba lid. On top of that, we had to order coffee separately and pay twice, which felt inconvenient. Even after ordering at the kiosk, our hot coffee somehow came out iced... oops. (Yes, it clearly says iced on the receipt - so obviously we missed something.) We also had to clean our own table, even though it wasn't busy. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us. It doesn't hold a candle to Tous Les Jours.
