Always had great food and service from Jason's Deli until recently. Our last order took two hours to deliver. After waiting for a while, we called to check on order. We were told that if we stopped by sometime they would give us a free cookie. Keep in mind, this was a delivery order and we don't get on that side of town very often. Just another typical Jasons deli, the store was clean the staff were busy. I have been ordering the beefeater sandwich for years it is by far my favorite sandwich. Been eating here for years.... the salad bar is small but has nice fresh selections and will fill you up. They now have Taziki sauce to also dip your favorite veggies in! I also like the HUGE TX size baked potatoes with yummy toppings. My son got a sandwich and then changed it to the manager special, which only gave him half a sandwich, so just be aware they add a soup and potato chips, but only half sandwich. What's the best deli sandwich? Many would argue for a NY style pastrami piled high with a mountain of corned beef. However, I would contend a classic BLT is hard to beat--as my quintessential deli sandwich. This meal was ordered for home delivery on a Thursday, around noon. Everything arrived promptly and in tact. Our order included soups, sandwiches, chips, cookies and a side of macaroni and cheese. My BLT was prepared thoughtfully with a sturdy wheat bread that was not soggy and provided a nice chew. I ordered a modern version of the sandwich that included an egg and avocado which made a creamy texture and it balanced nicely with the crisp bacon. This was an above average BLT, something on par with what I could make at home but that much better because I didn't have to make it! It paired nicely with a side of bbq chips. I also sampled their Mac and Cheese, which looks similar to the boxed variety due to the noodles' size and shape. It had a creamier consistency that probably correlated from using real cheese vs a powder substitute. The salt content was fine, but as it arrived, it could have been improved with a dash of black pepper. My girlfriend offered to share some of her potato soup which was hearty. If you are craving soup, especially as the weather gets colder, this will do in a pinch. It does not live up to homemade. Lastly, we treated ourselves with a chocolate chip cookie which was just a tad bit dry but still easy to pull apart with nice flavor. I have not been inside the store, but my experience of ordering delivery from Jason's Deli was hassle-free, and everything arrived as expected. They missed out on a five star rating only because of a lack of seasoning in their dishes. I would recommend them, if you're looking for a filling lunch that won't make you fall asleep immediately after. read more

Very disappointed. My sandwich was $11 there was less than half the amount of meat normally used and it was all rolled up in a ball on the outer edge of my bread. The guacamole was spread on a thin layer of mayonnaise. The mayonnaise was not spread on it it was a dime size spot in the middle of the bread. I browsed their website and it notes that they've eliminated processed MSG, high-fructose corn syrup, dyes, and artificial colors and flavors from their menu items. It's nice to have access to better quality ingredients for the prices they offer. If you're looking for atmosphere and a "hip" factor... You may want to look somewhere else. Thursday lunch and a new place for me... Jason's. Deli. A busy place Jason"s seemed anything but a relaxing respite from a workday. I scanned the menu board and paper menu at the counter questioning the young girl manning the register. "Beef Eater, light'" I decided. I also chose a bottle of Jason's Deli Cream Soda to wash down my first sandwich from Jason's The bread was pleasingly bready and well toasted. Every pore of the french roll lightly stiff but yielding at the slightest touch.The provolone clung tightly to the slightly warm roast beef. The meat had a definite, good beefy flavor; well seasoned and just juicy enough to allow you forget for a moment that it is deli meat. The provided Jus was a good dip in its own. Salt level in check its beefy flavor filled my mouth with its warm deliciousness a testament to properly made Jus. Just add veggies and you would have superbly rich beef soup. It was so good that I drank the remaining portion after the sandwich was gone. The chewy creamy provolone amened the flavor like a voice in the back row. The Sandwich was good on its own but took on an extremely juicy and beefy experience when dipped in the Jus. Like a car firing on all cylinders this sandwich is a standard for Au Jus dipped sandwiches. The Jason's Cream soda had a fizzy open and a licorice note that bonked the sweetness on the head. "Not a children's favorite" I thought. It made unsure if I liked it or not. I don't think I will ever drink it again. Jason's Deli is worth another visit if only for the Jus. read more

It was delicious when we got it, but the wait was a bit long. Their salad bar is expansive and so many options. However, nothing is labeled. Nothing at all. Which is hard for allergies or even knowing what you're eating. I hope they label the items soon because it would it a better experience. And that's the only reason it's not 5 stars. They offer free soft serve ice cream as dessert, which is a yummy treat. However, I would like to warn you that the brownie bite looking things are in fact not brownies. They are ginger muffins. And when you're expecting chocolate brownie and instead get a ginger muffin, you feel betrayed at the highest level. Again, labels would help this issue. It had been several years since I dined in at Jason's deli. I grew up coming to this location with my mom as a kid. Their remodel was done well, cashier was kind. However the manager on duty for lunch 6/15/24 was extremely rude and snapped at me for grabbing a plastic ramekin to use for my salad bar entree. I don't eat more than one serving at the endless salad bar and don't like all my food items touching each other. Yes, I learned my lesson after her raising her voice, scolding me, and trying to shame me. Next time (if there's a next time) I'll request an extra ramekin from a cashier. Another thing I noticed is the atmosphere and mood of the employees. They seemed lifeless like every inch of their inner happiness had been sucked out by the toxic management at this place. As I looked back at the service line the micro manager is over there yelling at her employees with rage in her eyes and is making all kinds of hand gestures. Suggestions: have your manager take customer service, management, and emotional intelligence classes. Don't degrade and belittle your employees and customers. We are moving to Edmond in July and were in town looking around ahead of time and noticed there is a Jason's Deli, which made us happy. We loved Jason's Deli when we lived in Norman and there was also one in Midland, TX, where we moved after that and it was just as good. There isn't one in Lawton, where we lived next, so we are happy to see our next home as a Jason's. So, we stopped by and ate lunch there while looking around town and I am happy to say it is just as great as the ones in Norman and Midland. The food is good, salad is good and the salad bar is always well stocked with plenty of quality and fresh choices. (We usually get the all you can eat salad bar here, but -- rarely -- we'll grab a hot sandwich instead.) This is a great place to take vegan friends.
