One of the best matcha in Edmond! Ive come here twice now and their matcha is so good. They have some fun matcha lattes available. I tried their banana bread matcha and it was good. It was a little too sweet for me. Their strawberry matcha wasn't as sweet though. For food, I had their egg sando. The price isn't too expensive and it was well made. Their staff is also lovely. We don't have many good Korean places in OKC but May fills the craving! Her bulgogi is well seasoned and the ingredients fresh in her kimbap. I love that you can get a premade one if your in a hurry or they'll make you a new one if you're not. It's nice and bright with places for you to sit awhile. Staff is nice and accommodating. I will say when we went the the tables had not been cleaned and not all the staff had shown up so it took quite awhile to get our drinks. However those are easily fixed things. I came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The interior is very sleekly styled with white marble tables and brightly colored velvet furniture pieces. The space is open and inviting, very clean. This spot has coffee shop vibes where you can sit and study/work/read a book while enjoying snacks and a drink. I had to work and had a little trouble connecting to the WiFi but a staff member was very helpful when he took my laptop and spent some time to connect to the WiFi. Food: My boyfriend and I shared a couple of dishes and we each got a drink. *Bulgogi Kimbap* this was a little heavy on the lettuce, but nevertheless very tasty and the bulgogi had a lot of flavor. *Tteokbokki* fish and rice cakes in a spicy stew- probably one of my favorite Korean dishes and MPT makes it SO well! Came in on a weekend Jan 12. They told us they are still in their soft opening and their actual opening is on Jan 18. So not everything on the menu was available. They explained that for the ramen they will give us the package and a bowl and we can make our own, didn't see the difference if I just made mine at home thne. We got their kimbaps, the gochujan and bulgogi. The crunchiness of the carrots and lettuce were good, pretty fresh considering they are pre-made and pre-packaged. We also got the strawberry foam and the strawberry latte, both were decent albeit the cups are kinda small with so much ice. Great place to grab lunch and go. They have different varieties of kimbap premade. The seaweed I don't think is roasted and I don't think the rice has vinegar. It's pretty plain I think to cater to American tastebuds. I enjoyed it, it was pretty fresh for being prepackaged. My son had the instant shin black and my hubby had the jin mild. They have an instant ramen cooking machine which is cool to see in Oklahoma. I'm Korean so, nothing special but it was a fun experience for my youngest son. My favorite thing we ordered was the rose matcha, but I wished they'd just charge a little more and use less ice. There wasn't that much of the beverage in the cup. I also hope they offer these beverages in a hot version in the future since, I much rather prefer hot drinks over cold. Overall, we would come back! My sibling, dad and I came here for lunch after passing by it for a couple of months. We walked in to the restaurant and it was very sleek appearance. There was a couple of people in line to order which was fine. I ordered a caprese sandwich, my dad ordered the Korean chicken rice bowl, and my sibling picked out a tofu plate and kimbop from the display. When it came to getting our food, that was probably the worst part of the experience. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food, which is a little ridiculous. When food started coming out of the kitchen, the guy was getting mixed up with everyone's orders and was just handing them out to whoever ordered that item. He would call the item instead of the name on the order. It did cause some confusion when multiple walked up to the counter who all ordered the same item. The food though was pretty good. I loved how the caprese sandwich had both a basil pesto and balsamic vinaigrette drizzle. As a matcha girlie, I was thrilled when May Picnic Table opened. I was even more thrilled when they served me the best matcha I've ever bought. May is THE matcha spot in the OKC area. They make their matchas the traditional way, with the chasen and everything, and topped with beautiful and delicious cold foams. I've tried the lavender, raspberry, and strawberry, and they were all fantastic. The flavors don't taste like syrups because everything is made in store. The lavender is very fragrant, and the fruity ones are very well balanced. The employees are very nice and friendly, and the place overall is like being in a YouTube cozy ambience video. Super excited to try this new kimbap / sandwich shop - so much so that we went during their soft opening because we couldn't wait any longer! We were thrilled to find that this is an authentic Korean restaurant with Korean owners, which meant the taste was also authentic and just what we expected compared to our experiences in Korea. We tried several kinds of kimbap (they have some fresh and ready made, but if anything isn't on the counter you can request it to be made). Same for the sandwiches - I ordered an egg sandwich, which they made fresh. We ordered ramen, which you make yourself with the ramen machine - pretty cool experience as I have only seen these at convenience stores in Korea! There are free toppings - green onion, white onion, or jalapeño, or you can pay an up charge to add egg or kimchi. After lunch we tried the famous iced matcha lattes with cold foam. Both the vanilla and the strawberry were great, and I think next time I'll order the strawberry because the sweetness was perfect. The decor was lovely & very tastefully done. Tteokbokki tasted like it was made from a package and reheated with boiling water or microwaved. Onigiri was okay. Prices are a bit steep for the quality. That being said, if you are in Edmond city limits and want Korean food I think this is the only option. read more

I would like to be able to write a short review that only says, "Yes". Just yes. Because that's exactly what I said when I took a bite of their tekkbokki (I probably misspelled that). But I felt this place deserved a bit more praise than a humble "Yes". The tekkbokki is spicy, a little sweet, impossibly red, and just, yes. The texture is great, and if you know what I mean when I say that, then you know. They give you plenty of fish cakes and sauce (dip your kimbap in it, you're welcome) and its the perfect portion in my opinion. Also got the bulgogi kimbap, it too was fresh, light but filling. And we got the spicy tuna "triangle" and while I struggled with the plastic wrapper (yeah, there are instructions and I tried my best) once you get in its a wonderful little bit of food. For drinks we got the strawberry matcha latte, which was so good, not super sweet and pops of strawberry throughout, and the peach green tea, which was not sweet, but very refreshing, I would definitely get either drink again. I'm so happy and excited that Edmond has an awesome little korean cafe like this, I'm pumped to try all their other options (they have a ramen bar, rice and noodle bowls, lots of other kimbap and triangle flavors), I will absolutely be back and I really hope others give this place a chance, the interior is light and bright with relaxing jazz music, a very comfortable place to have lunch. read more
