Yes, I'm still smitten with this tucked-away coffee shop in downtown Edmond. When walking here every time, I swear, it feels like I'm stumbling on buried treasure with a sweet and smoky coffee delight-hot or iced- at the end of my travels as my reward. It's the small things in life sometimes. The coffee's always on point--I've never had a bad cup-and their Moonmilk is a sweet little indulgence (I get just a splash, or it outshines the smoky brew). The chorizo burrito? A breakfast miracle and one of my most favs you can find in Edmond. I come for that alone sometimes if I'm needing a breakfast on the run with my cup of Joe. The Summer Moon team is quick with a warm friendly hello, the service is quick, and honestly, who needs a drive-thru when the vibes inside are this good? My only complaint? I wish I could get a smaller container of Moonmilk to go. I never finish the standard size takeout option and I wish I could get a mini size to go-I HATE to waste it. This place is SO CUTE y'all. You bet I came here 100% just from the cute pics I've been seeing of this place. But it delivers on everything for me. Comfy seats, gorgeous interior, good food, reasonable prices, and wonderful service. We stayed here while doing some work so we bought a bunch of drinks. Got their quarter moon coffee, a refresher (kinda like a lemonade of some sort), a matcha drink, and a ham and cheese croissant just to try. And every drink and the croissant were ALL five stars across the board. Loved the ambience, loved the friendly service, and loved the food + drinks. Worth a visit (and revisit back) for sure. My boyfriend introduced me to Summer Moon for coffee one morning while I was visiting Oklahoma and I loved this little cafe so much that I had to rave about it. I visited at the end of November and Christmas decorations were already up, it made the space feel very cheerful and cozy. This would be a great spot to get some work done, the environment is pretty quiet and there's plenty of seating space. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted us the moment we walked in. I ordered the summer moon latte and it was phenomenal. The moon milk that is in the summer moon latte is a game changer - I asked the girl at the counter what moon milk was and she explained that it's like a sweet cream that is made in-house; I'm a big fan. I live in Tampa, FL now so unfortunately there isn't a Summer Moon Coffee nearby, but this will be on my pit-stop list every time I make a visit back home to Oklahoma for sure. read more

Lovely space in the Edmond Railyard area. Sleek designs and well-lit as well as sunny atmosphere. Booth seating with chairs and round marble tables. Simple, yet classy! I have come here twice so far. Once to grab an iced latte to go, and the second time (which is right now) to do some work on my laptop and sip on an iced latte. The moon lattes are sweet, so they have options to ease up on the sweetness. Try the 1/2 Moon, which is 1/2 Moon Milk, 1/2 skim milk and then espresso or matcha. I got the 16 oz iced 1/2 Moon Matcha Latte. This is equivalent to a grande sized iced drink at Starbucks. I would say that this Matcha Latte is very similar to the one at Starbucks, but the "Moon" part makes it taste better! Moon Milk is apparently a sweet cream that they use that I read goes amazingly with their oak roasted coffee which I have yet to try. I am more of a matcha fan these days...better for my anxiety and jitters, but I will definitely be trying a hot regular latte with the moon milk here one day for sure! Such a nice concept! This place uses the "Moon" to differentiate their sweetness level and I thought that was cute and clever! While visiting a friend in Edmond I had sometime on my hands. I ordered an iced vanilla chai and a blueberry muffin. The chai was nice and smooth. The muffin was warmed and specked with plump blueberries. I don't drink coffee usually, but, I'm thinking about coming back tomorrow before I leave to try the iced mocha blue moon latte. Hidden behind the Main st of Edmond, you will find this place among other cool eateries. I love the colors and the look of the buildings. Only complaint is the nearby parking and older buildings, they don't match the clean look of the Edmond railyard. Parking lot is kind of rough to look at. Service was fast, but I don't think they gave me what I asked for, which was a S'mores latte, it came out tasting more like a cinnamon roll latte. I am still looking forward to trying their K-cups tomorrow. read more

the food and drinks are really inconsistent. the drinks always change in sweetness and amount of milk, and the food is warmed up half the time but the other half of the time they say they can't heat it up. you also have to go early to get a seat inside, but it is really nice inside. on a good day it's great though! read more

My first sip I tasted the oatmilk and coffee but then I tasted the lavender they put in it and lastly, the firewood taste which is so unique but cool. This coffee is BOMB. Staff are friendly. Had their Chorizo breakfast burrito and a seasonal coffee drink - Toasted S'mores Latte. Both were great! The moons represent how much espresso vs cream is in the drink. They have a very helpful chart. One thing to note is that their drinks are a tad bit more sweet than their Starbucks counterparts because they use their signature sweet cream. The burrito isn't huge and obviously like most burritos, you get more tortilla than filling but the flavors were good & prices compare to other coffee shops. The people are nice and super helpful. One of my favorite mocha latte so far!!! The service was good, but only because I used the app which was much faster than taking the line. The ambience was busy, but with headphones I was able to enjoy my time over time and have some focus time. I am definitely coming back to this spot. read more

Always trying to find a great coffee place and this did not disappoint. Everyone was very helpful in recommending what we were looking for. The coffee is smooth without the acid burn a lot of places serve. We had a vanilla latte and a toasted chestnut latte. We both loved the first sip and it stayed yummy to the last. We also had the burrito for breakfast. Chorizo and bacon were both filled very nicely with lots of food. The tortillas were the chewy type, which I like. Everyone was very nice and seemed happy. There's a pie place right next door. We were there too early, but hope to try it out as well next time we are in town. Definitely recommend. read more

Yummy coffee drinks! This is such a happy place to satisfy your coffee fix or sit and work. I usually get their Half-Moon Latte. It is rather pricey ($6.01) but it is lusciously creamy and a little sweet. For home I get their medium roast Velvet pods for my Keurig. I tried their homemade creamer once but after a couple of days in my fridge I shook the container and it seemed to separate into butter and milk or something. The only coffee shop that I find myself going to, if that says anything...I'm extremely picky about my coffee, from the taste of the coffee beans, to the milk, flavors, sweetness, temperature, and espresso machine used. I have really only tried the blue moon latte because it really is that good. I love the richness of the roasted coffee beans that mixes perfectly with the silkiness of the lavender syrup (although I get half sugar, so half of the lavender) and oat milk. To top it off, they use a La Marzocco espresso machines, which allows the roasted coffee beans to reach its full potential. Lastly, I love that this coffee shop isn't necessary a chain, so I feel more inclined to support them. read more

Very good coffee. They make a great Americano. They sell a few different whole bean roasts that they use in the shop. I I've bought a couple of them and they're just as good at home. My wife likes all the sweeter drinks, especially their autumn blend. I think that might be her favorite coffee ever next to a cafe miel. Summer Moon, she'd be in there every day if you added that drink to your menu. The staff is always great. They do a good job making the drinks well and quickly. I haven't tried any of the food because their next door to Railyard Pie Company. I highly recommend getting an Americano and then going next door to get a slice of pie. read more

From what I have seen only going in once, summer moon has got it going on! The vibes inside are perfect for a date, studying, or just grabbing some coffee! There are plenty of specialty lattes, which is what I look for in coffee shops. The staff have always been very friendly when I come in as well! I got the "Blue Moon" which is a lavender latte with their moon milk, mixed with some nonfat milk. It was delicious! I want to try some of their other drinks, but this blue moon is hard to pass up! I usually get the shaken espresso w/ a splash of moon milk, BUT if I'm in the mood for creamy, I would get the 1/8th wintermoon latte. One day, I had some burritos brought from them and they were SO good and well made. Not too big, stuffed with eggs, cheese, and meat of choice, and priced well.
