    Ube Latte
    Huyen C.

My husband and I were driving to meet our family for lunch and needed some coffee. He saw a sign for matcha, and we turned around to try it. It's a little slow. We sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes before ordering, and there was only 2 cars in front of us. Ordered 2 drinks and they were okay, but not the best drinks we've ever had. My husband got the matcha ube drink and wanted a shot of espresso in it, but they don't allow you to have espresso in the drink. You have to order it to go and then put it in yourself. Weird, but we made it work. The prices are reasonable, but I think the wait for the drink made us probably know we wouldn't go back.

Love a place with unique drinks! This place has a perfect little patio, a walk up counter and a drive thru. I loved their lunar new year menu, it had so many unique combinations. Trying out their ube matcha latte today because I've been obsessed with ube! Can't wait to come back and try something else

I got the White Rabbit latte and it was delicious. Not super sweet, but enough flavor reminiscent of the candy. It reminded me a lot of my childhood spending Chinese New Year eating White Rabbit candies. I was pleasantly surprised when the latte came with its own candy!! The drive thru is a tight squeeze, but super convenient since only a few local coffee shops have drive-thrus. Service was quick.

Great drip coffee. Friendly service. Have a walk up side facing Classen and outdoor patio space and restroom. Friendly staff, good quality beans. Will try the patio on a day when there's not 50 mph wind :-). Drive-through appears to be the main draw here. Look forward to trying other items, such as the latte in the future.

Came here to grab some matcha and it did not disappoint! You can order at a window or do the drive thru. If it's cold maybe use the drive thru bc the seating area is a patio and not very warm. I got the strawberry white rabbit matcha which has a strawberry cold foam. The matcha was really good and paired well with the foam. My friend tried the ube matcha hot and she said it was good as well. Love that there is a good matcha spot in OKC! Service was good and they had a variety of cool drinks. Can't wait to come back and try some more.

Used to be Bun Box but now HQ Coffee, a great addition of coffee shop to Asian District. I am not a matcha person, but the matcha coffee at HQ impressed me. It was really good. The lobby has limited matcha and coffee for sale and also gives their customers an idea of their products. It is open space though with heaters and ceiling fans in place. I still don't know what to think of it. I feel like it's still too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to really stay in that lobby. The drive through also exits immediately out to Classen which is a BUSY street. I feel like the design of the building is flawed.

I went to the grand opening of HQ coffee, an Asian inspired coffee and tea shop after seeing the announcement on Instagram. I was stoked about the fact they use Rocky's matcha, one of the best matcha brands out there that uses high-quality ceremonial grade matcha. After seeing a few pics online, I had to try it! The grand opening was on Saturday, 10/26, and I went right after a morning workout around 10:15 am. The service was prompt and I didn't have to wait long. This spot is located in Asian District on 23rd street right across from La Brasa restaurant. There is a parking lot right around the corner - very convenient for a quick coffee run right before work! They also have a medium-sized sit down area connected to the coffee shop with outdoor furniture such as tables and chairs as well as couches. You order through the walk-up window, and they also now have a drive-thru option. So far I've tried 3 drinks since the grand opening: *Iced Matcha Latte with Oat milk* This drink was STRONG and amazing. I was wired all day. I'm telling you now...this place takes their caffeine seriously. The matcha will do you wonders if you're looking for a wake up. *Iced Black Sesame Latte with Light Roast & Oat milk* This was even stronger than the matcha and I asked the cashier/barista what he would recommend going with (light or dark roast) and he said his personal favorite was the light roast because it provides a sweeter/almost fruitier taste to the coffee. He was right- the drink was delicious with the light roast! However, with my caffeine sensitivity, I could only drink about a third of this drink! *Iced Ube Matcha Latte with Oat milk* Probably my favorite because this has a shot of matcha (great for caffeine factor) and the subtly sweet taste of ube shined through. If you're not a fan of matcha or want to slowly get introduced to it for the health benefits, I would recommend starting off with this drink. So delicious! I highly recommend this spot especially if you are wanting amazing quality and STRONG drinks!

Went through the drive thru and got the iced ube matcha with oat milk as well as the pho spiced cookie. It's a great combination of flavors complementing one another. The service was great, would recommend!

The place still looks like it's under construction, I heard of them through a friend that they have the best matcha when I went they were out waiting for shipping. I did get the lemonade coffee and it was surprisingly good. It was 8 dollars for a small cup. That's pretty pricey for me but one time thing. I will try go back the next time to try their matcha but overall the barista was nice. I kinda did felt rush but it was okay .

Wasn't aware that this place/building changed from Bun Box but here we are - when I asked them they said it's been three months now (Nov-Dec) and they might be under the same or similar ownership - (I believe Andrea Schultz, as discussed in this Luxier article on the place by Greg Horton: https://luxiere.co/editorials/community/hq-coffee-the-asian-district). They make an excellent chai latte! One of the best I ever had, especially on a cold frigid OKC winter day. The same patio is there, and they have one of the cleanest, nicest/fanciest restrooms ever. Also the very convenient drive-thru is still there. Forgot to check but they may or may not have food. Certainly recommended!

Definitely recommend HQ coffee, especially on a warm day out, since there is outside seating. The service was fast and very nice. The Matcha Ube oat milk latte was so good. I enjoyed the earthy matcha and sweet ube (it reminds me of Oreos). The only downside is the price. The drinks are quite pricey for the size.

Strawberry matcha latte, Black sesame latte, and a vanilla ube cookie.

The drinks were great! I went with a friend and we got a black sesame latte, a strawberry matcha latte, and two ube vanilla cookies. The person who took our order was very helpful and told us about the menu, since it was our first time there. The outdoor seating was very nice and open, and from where we sat we could see the beautiful mural across the street. Definitely a great experience!

Oklahoma doesn't have a lot of matcha places so I'm glad that this place opened. I liked the drive-thru aspect they offer, and they are centrally located in Asian District. However, my drink specifically--the Ube Matcha--was extremely bitter and lacked any Ube taste. It was pretty, but I think the only thing that the Ube added was a pop of color. It wasn't bad, but as someone who drinks matcha quite frequently, I was a little surprised by the taste. Hopefully their other drinks are better?

10/10 cannot beat their matcha with strawberry. Slightly pricey but worth it. Only downside is the wait time otherwise no issues

I ordered a grilled chai tea latte and a cookie, which sounded simple but felt thoughtfully done. The chai had a deep, spiced aroma the moment it hit the table. It wasn't overly sweet, and the warmth of the spices came through clearly with each sip. There was a smooth, velvety texture that made it especially comforting. The cookie was fresh and slightly crisp around the edges with a soft center. It tasted homemade rather than mass-produced, with just the right balance of sweetness to pair with the drink without overwhelming it. The café itself has a welcoming, lived-in charm. Plenty of natural light, a steady hum of conversation, and people either catching up with friends or working on laptops. The baristas were attentive and genuinely friendly, creating an easygoing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. Classen Coffee Company feels like one of those dependable neighborhood spots you keep coming back to -- not flashy, just consistently good and inviting.

The most signage was a piece of paper that said Quincy's so keep an eye out. Their choices were pretty slim. They might have had at most 8 different choices, which is fine, but only one of each for a few items. This was about 10am. Their specialty chocolate pastry was really good. It had a good chocolate flavor without being too indulgent. Their blueberry lemon scone was not good at all. Super dry, the flavor was more of flour if anything. I also bought a sugar cookie which my daughter loved, but I just couldn't get over paying $6 for the scone my husband and I didn't care for. Otherwise the other two items were good. No seating, so don't plan to hang around. They also don't have any coffee either at this location.
