Seated promptly and drink orders taken. Food was ordered and came out pretty quick. Service was good as was the food. Ordered chicken and dumplings, mac n cheese, fried okra and spicy apples. SO disappointed with the Campfire Chicken I had been looking forward to this summer. When it came out it looked okay but as I turned the chicken and corn on the cob over, everything was completely burned. My husband had the Campfire Beef and it was perfect. There were lots of juices in the bottom of his foil where mine had nothing. I couldn't even eat this. The manager did take it off our ticket and we will return this summer and try again. read more

The service was EXCELLENT!! From the moment we walked into the restaurant someone greeted us and welcomed us to CB. The host was a young man that was so extremely polite and even pulled my chair out for me to sit down. Our waitress, Kendall, was polite, kind, and very helpful/knowledgeable with the menu items. We were there for breakfast and we weren't just ask once for a coffee refill oncebut at least 3-4 times and not only by Kendall! I was so impressed by the kindness, welcoming environment and the hospitality of the staff that I ask to speak to a manager. I wanted them to know that I was "awed" by the service I was receiving. I thought it was fair to try again. We have now entered the twilight zone of FORGET IT. I ordered curbside pick up. The entrees had the right sides, however the instant potatoes were dry and had no sawmill gravy that was on my orider. I asked for cornbread and got hard dried up biscuits. I said no silver wear or condiments and now have enough ketchup for a year. Funniest part was I ordered 3 entrees but only got two plastic wear set up. I can take mistakes but I done with ignorance. We went to this location (we are from Texas and love Cracker Barrel) there were ten of us. Five adults five kids. The hostess was unaware of they were serving large parties so she asked on her walkie and no one answered. As we are waiting she's seating multiple family's and giving them a wait time of 5-10 mins. She asked again and no one responded so she told us it'd be 45 mins. The. We said it's fine we can sapling five and five and she said it's still 45 mins. The manager came out and asked if we were good with the chair at the end of the table we said yes cause there's five kids we could make it work but we were OK with splitting. He said well the kitchen is really behind so it's 40 minutes just to get food on top of us still waiting 45 minutes. No one else was being told this as they were getting seated 5 to 10 minutes after they walked in the door. If we didn't want to split I'd understand the wait time. But they never went down on our wait time. And they were not apologetic about it so we left. read more

First time ever visiting a Cracker Barrel! I've never eaten at this chain before, but hubby and I just stopped in (mostly because they serve breakfast all day) and also it was convenient for us to get to after church. The food was so good! I had the Mothers breakfast sampler and hubby had some sort of amazing strawberry/blueberry French toast creation. Both were really good. Restaurant feels like an old hometown restaurant, with lots of interesting art (old advertisements and such) all over the walls. But the thing that made it really special for me was our server Phatima; she was sweet, friendly, knowledgeable on menu items, prompt with service and made some really awesome recommendations to us. She made our visit feel special and I really hope either management or an owner sees this so they know what a gem they have in Phatima. (All of the employees we encountered were awesome, but she really stood out) Afterwards we spent way too much money on things from the gift shop! I love Cracker Barrel and usually have a great experience...but unfortunately today Leslie was our server and she was very rude the entire time. It felt as though she was discriminating us for some reason, She was being very nice and bubbly to the other tables but seemed upset to even serve our table. We were extremely polite the entire time despite how she was treating us. She said "I GUESS I'll get you some more water"...although she never brought any back. She offered options to us then turned around to say it wasn't an option. She didn't come to our table often like others or greet us or even check in with us. Her attitude the entire time was depressing and unwelcoming. I hope the next time I come to this location...if I ever do come back..she isn't our server. Please do better. read more

Today my office ordered Chicken n dumplings from Cracker Barrel in Norman, Ok off I-35 for our lunch. It was really frustrating because when the food got to our office it was not cooked completely. No one could eat it so ..... no lunch for us. Our manager reached out to them and they offered a few dollars off our next order. That was so lame! In truth I looked up their scores from the health department and maybe no one should be ordering their food! Cracker Barrel is a Hobby Lobby on steroids. Lol. My friend likes it so we had to come and try it. We had a good breakfast and they have the delicious strawberry mimosas. Yes, booze at a Hobby Lobby kind-of place. I got the sampler which came with everything and was really good. I just couldn't eat it all. I ordered my eggs over easy but they were bordering on medium. But they were still good. I want crazy about the biscuit and gravy but my friend took it home for her daughter so that's a win. read more

Came here and waited 5 min to get seated which is fine, ordered food , it was just ok, the bacon and sausages were good but everything else really lacked flavor, and grits seemed watered down. The biscuits were good but gravy was just ok also seemed watered down and no flavor. Once upon a time, this Yelper travel nearly 2 hours to Rialto, California to visit one of the few Cracker Barrel restaurants we have in California. The food harkens back to good 'ol country fare. We love Cracker Barrel at breakfast - especially during the holidays. The gift shop is filled with fun items to purchase and most of the time it's something unique. They have excellent merchandise buyers because you can literally pick something up for everyone on your list. We arrived at 945 on Sunday morning and our party of 3 was seated right away. We ordered the cinnamon French toast which was delicious!! Also the holidays sampler and a single pancake. We have never had a bad meal at Cracker Barrel which is why we keep coming back. If I could give them zero stars I would they don't answer their phone I literally sat in the parking lot and called three times nobody answered it went to their fax machine every single time and then when I came inside to stand and wait for my food literally there for 30 minutes and this lady asked my name I told her my name and then she came in threw my food on the counter because she's mad about working like sorry you work at fucking Cracker Barrel that's not my fucking fault. I have been to many Cracker Barrels across the South.. They are known for their all-day, generous sized, breakfast menu. This location did not disappoint! The breakfast was perfectly cooked! Fluffy scrambled eggs with crispy bacon and a stack of wonderfully thick pancakes. Service was great. The place was full of seniors and a few grandkids! I only had one tiny complaint as the seating arrangement was tight and created a few chair bumps. I also would recommend adding a senior plate (smaller size) or special to the menu as this seems to be the demographic group for this establishment. read more

I've always been a fan of Cracker Barrel. I recently discovered Pecan Pancakes and I must say I'm addicted. My middle kiddo is a pescatarian and I have become one a few months ago. It's hard to find something beyond a veggie burger or a salad at most places but it's easier here than I thought. He currently craving the Breakfast sandwich. He gets it with a fried egg while I prefer scrambled. Then there is this sauce they put on top...Yummo! Of course there is typically a wait to be seated but then you have the general store to shop. Back corner has the sale items and I have scored some pretty awesome stuff dirt cheap. There is also a wait to get your food so I suggest ordering when they brings the drinks. It depends on the location but it's pretty consistent that the wait staff is given too many tables. It's been that way for years and it's at all the locations so no need to be shocked and bothered that you get slower than average service.
