This was my 1st time ever visiting a Waffle House. Went here with my parents on Sunday July 15th 2023. We did have to wait a while, as it was busy, and it is a small place. However, we waited, and was promptly sat in a table watching all the cooks. It is cool that we can watch the cooks make our food. i ordered a chocolate milk with waffles with a topping of chocolate chips. My dad ordered an entire breakfast which came with eggs and waffle, and he added blueberry nougat to the waffle, and my mom ordered an egg bowl with bacon. Food was good! our server was also very nice. we again left a cash tip on the table, and paid with the cashier. The restroom was also clean, although it was a single restroom, so if someone's in there, and one has to go, oh boy... lol anyways. I enjoyed my 1st experience at a waffle house, and would probably come again to any waffle house. read more

I just ate here about 30 min ago and wow was the food cooked to perfection! I don't leave reviews often but the youby black lady who took my to go order and the young white lady cooking my meal absolutely killed it!!! the food was amazing and the service was incredible! thank you soo much for the hospitality! read more

Came here because my wife had never been to a Waffle House and was curious and we had a bogo Attractions coupon for a free waffle. Good thing that 2nd waffle was free. It's WH so if you've ever been to one, you know what you're getting here. My issue is that they charge what a typical diner charges and let's face it, the food served is not up to typical diner quality standards. Even with the bogo coupon our breakfast was like 16 bucks for 2 cups of coffee, the 2 pecan waffles (1 of which was free), and the 1 order of hash browns covered. I commend them greatly for being open during hurricanes...that's amazing and it blows me away...no pun intended, but the food here is definitely forgettable. Forgot the cheese on my eggs and I still payed for it. The food was still good, however I like the other locations on 544 and near the beach better. I had the 2 egg breakfast scrambled with cheese and the Texas toast bacon egg and cheese with hashbrowns. Both are my go to meals at every Waffle House. My tab was around $19.50 tip was already included, which is fine and still gave extra. read more

Bring your appetite. They have a waffle/toast/eggs/bacon dish for 7.20...and it's huge. This chain has the best waffles by far. Location is small and there is parking. Staff was very friendly and the food came fast. Will be here again. read more

We went into this establishment last night which was on a Saturday around 3:00 a.m. and as soon as we walked in the door and the server Cloe was immediately rude and told us they're not dining in tonight and we stood there for about 25 minutes waiting to make it to go order and still knowing waited on us and unfortunately we had to leave hungry. And the cooks in the background were cussing and saying that they don't care about anything. I guess Waffle House is not open 24 hours any longer. read more

Waffle House is the perfect spot to get a fast, cheap but quality meal. This location is conveniently located near Carolina Forest. The service is always good and the food is always hot. I have done both dine and pick up. I've never bad a bad experience either way. read more

If you've been to Waffle House before then you know what to expect. If not, it's a sort of cross between a diner and a truck stop. The "cuisine" is basic but very good for what it is. This one is clean. The staff are great. Good speed and accuracy. This is where you want to go if it's summer. Not so great during the fall after either hs or college football - it packs. But in tourist season they get less traffic than most of the other locations. If you're a Yankee - try some grits. read more

It seas a fairly good service. Just a couple bad things ; the wait was longer than it should have been, They took longer on my food and drink even though I only had Apple juice and a small waffle, The restroom was a little dirty and small but manageable . But overall the food was great ... Let's face it, Waffle House is like that gross uncle most of have but we still love anyway. Hell, I have nieces and nephews now, so I too can be that gross uncle. This Waffle House is slightly less gross than the other ones and the staff was really funny. They made it enjoyable to sit at the counter and even though it is gross the food still taste good. read more

I wish there was a 1 star choice. Went in this morning at 4:25am, cook said nothing, fat ass not taking orders said nothing. 1 person sitting on the bar stool, 3 guests in a booth. Waited for 15 minutes, not a word from anyone. Walked out and left. Was not even approached to place my order. This Waffle House should be ashamed of their so called customer service. You can not go wrong with waffle house in most cases. for the most part when you have gone to one you have gone to them all. Waffle house is pretty consistent and train their employees all the same way. So if you been to one you have been to them all. This place is only getting this rating because of Henry. That dude is the man and he cooked my burger and it was AMAZING. I almost walked out of this place because the service was garbage and my waitress was too high on drugs to get her shit together... THEN HENRY CAME TO THE RESCUE and fixed everything. Love him. 2nd time in a row we've been to this Waffle House with no service. 1st time the doors were locked with all dirty tables. Not a sole in sight. Tried calling, no answer. Tonight is the 2nd time with no service. And I understand everybody is short staffed I'm in the restaurant industry myself. But with 5 employees in the building, I would expect Waffle House to be open to more than just take out only. Considering it's supposed to be 24/7 365 days a year. Because we all know take out breakfast is disgusting.. so it's really sad for them to use the excuse of understaffed with 5 employees and no one in the building except one customer who seemed to be friends with the employees. And all I got told was to call corporate and complain to them. I wish I was allowed to post the video of the empty restaurant blocked off with employees yelling at me "complain to corporate!" I've been coming here since a was little and this place never fails to satisfy me! I've been ordering the same thing (the omelet meal) for like 10 years now and I LOVE IT. Good food fast. They were extremely busy,so it was a few minutes wait on a booth, but not a problem as the place was packed. It appeared everybody from the manager down was working as quickly as possible. Waiter was very polite to us, but one of the waitresses cleared tables so white customers could sit down, but left a table dirty until black couples were seated elsewhere. A friend and I went to grab a quick meal at the location by dicks pawn and as soon as we walked in a server looked at us and turned back to talking to a coworker. Other customers were siting there with no drink and no food, after siting for maybe 8 minutes we realized no one was going to greet us let alone serve us.
