This review is based on my wife's recent breakfast visit. I had tried to eat here about a month ago but unfortunately fortunately it was temporarily closed for renovations. My wife told me it just opened back up again about a week ago. She had a southern style breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuit and sauage gravy. She particularly like the biscuit, and her only disappointment was that her bacon was overcooked (generally she likes crispy bacon so if she says it was overcooked, it definitely was). Went to eggs up grill for breakfast server was busy serving the whole restaurant should not have been by herself she was very friendly,after waiting for to get me a menu I waited about five or 10 minutes for her to take my order I was patient knowing she was by herself. I placed my order.When my order came the order was not complete because the cook did not read the ticket.The waitress placed the order correctly and when the order came out she noticed that was not correct.Thus I waited for then to make me another pancake.To complete my order .when it finally came the rest of my food was cold.I should have sent the meal back but I didn't.She did not charge me for the late pancake at my request.In the future the cook needs to read the ticket completely.So this doesn't happen in the future. read more

Food and staff are great here. We are local and go often. Just note if you go on the weekend be prepared to wait, especially during tourist season. Lots of great choices on the menu. Restaurant and bathrooms are always clean! read more

Amazing ladies serving up a great breakfast. My wife hade the biscuits and gravy meal and I had the texaicana bowl. Both were hot and fast. The biscuits were cooked on the grill, different from my usual, but gave them a good crispy edge. Setting them from good to great. The Tex bowl had a great mix of egg, cheese ( optional) peppers and potatoes. Really tasty. I might try to add another egg to the mix. ( as if there wasn't enough food. ) definitely will be back for more. Maybe the omelette next. read more

This was my first visit to this restaurant. So when I walked in, the woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I asked her about how a couple of the menu items tasted and she was honest enough to tell me she hadn't tried them. Sometimes its good but there are things like this that hapoens: So I order a BLT on tuscan (I believe) bread but ask them to add an egg. They put 1 egg on 1/2 the sandwich. While the older woman at the counter was quite pleasant, I was Not impressed with the food nor the prices. I ordered oatmeal for me and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich for my Dad. Service is always pleasant and friendly. I'm always disappointed that whenever we go in there I also ask if they have dairy free coffee creamer, non dairy options, or any plant based dishes. I always get looked at like I'm crazy by the wait staff when all I ask is "do you have anything non dairy? Like coconut or almond milk?" They seem so confused that there are people who want to enjoy breakfast places who cannot have dairy or chose to not consume it for ethical reasons. And I'm always told "No", or the time before last the waitress said, "um, I don't even know what that means" Are you kidding? I do love the environment and the restaurant with my family but I always leave hungry because I'm very limited on menu choices or substitutes. I hope they widen their menu choices soon! read more

We had an amazing first experience here! We went on a sunday morning which we thought would be very busy, but after a few minutes we got our table, and once we ordered our food came out so fast! I got the all good things omelette and we split a toasted blueberry muffin. It was great! I got the *goodness gracious*[egg white omelette with spinach mushrooms feta cheese topped with tomatoes].And their oatmeal topped with fresh strawberries blueberries pecan raisin granola, brown sugar and cinnamon which I omitted. We had lunch there yesterday and the food was great and so was the service. They are very nice and fast. We had the soup and half a sandwich. The soup was bacon potato soup. I had the BLT sandwich. The BLT was possibly the best I have ever had and the soup was good just needed a dash of pepper. Great coffee also. read more
