This was my second visit to Cookout. My earlier dinner didn't fulfill my expectations so I stopped at Cookout (around 7:15 PM on a Wednesday). The girl at the counter was very friendly and there was another older lady in the actual restaurant who was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife ordered a corn dog and I opted for a chicken tenders tray with onion rings and fries. Total was around $11.00. Food came out within a few minutes. For the price, you get a lot of food. The onion rings and chicken tenders were very good and the fries were pretty good too. Based on the food quality, cleanliness, price point and overall service, I'll definitely return to Cookout. Great food great value, good people serving and always fast. What can I say more that's excellent for fast food

First time at cookout (I am from northwest Arkansas and we don't have these there) and I was genuienly impressed. Pricing was great - got a good size burger, 2 sides (chicken nuggets and Cajun fries), large drink, and free sauces for around $9.50. the burger had a solid char taste to it and the sauces were great. My only complaint was the buffalo sauce for my fries - this was a generic Frank's red hot sauce and I wish it was more unique. The service provided and the friendly demeanor was heart warming and the workers knew their menu well. The inside had a very warming ambiance. The clean setting was a rustic style restaurant and I was greeted to a worker who was desired to clean my table before I ate in order to give me the best experience. Overall, great experience and I wish they had these in northwest Arkansas! read more

I like Cook Out! Love the choices in milk shakes It is what it is, fast food with a char grilled test and it's good for that! Late night, quick stops, order & go, they excel at that! ASSAULT: the food here is an assault on your sense of taste. Have a look at the photos. The BBQ is dry and greasy all at the same time. How dry? Let's put it this way, there isn't enough sauce to change it. At first, it's relatively tasteless, but after a minute something rolls up on your tongue. At first you don't know quite what it is, and then a feeling of ominousness that quickly turns to loathing hits you. It's the aftertaste from hell. I'm not quite sure, but I imagine licking the bottom of a Chuck Taylor on a hot day would be better than this. Heck, maybe licking the actual bottom of Chuck Taylor is more accurate. I'm no sprinter but once I remembered that I keep mints in my car I ran out to grab some. If there were a cheetah in the lot chasing me I would have won, especially if he'd eaten this dreck. I mean, how fast could a cheetah be with a stomach full of this dumpster rummaged cardboard? Don't get me started on the hush puppies. These things are drier than the flakes of dandruff that I cannot find enough Head and Shoulders to get rid of. Their sauce tastes like it's repackaged from "Ken's, with so much sugar that if you removed all of the other flavors you are just one bag away from sweet tea. so i just came from their drive through and the lady over the intercom was incredibly rude. We got a cookout tray, and she said rudely, "what kind of cookout tray". She kept that rude attitude all the way through. The food was good, but there was hair on both my drinks. We got to the window, it was a heavier caucasian woman in black with light brown hair in a ponytail standing next to a younger man tan, with a beard and glasses at the pickup window. The young man was extremely nice. If she is in managment she needs a fire lit under her or a demotion, she was awful, promote the young man instead! read more

Food is just average and the staff is ok but they give you no napkins or condiments at all and it took longer than expected to get my food. Ordered Pull Pork sandwich- dry, no seasoning, cold, soured coleslaw and cheapest hamburger bun than made the sandwich disintegrated in my hand. French Fries - Cold and no seasoning Hush Puppies- Fried nuggets of crap. Strawberry shake is so cold almost gave myself a headache from trying to drink it. I very rarely eat fast food but heard this place was a step above the usual expected inedible crap. It was a Pretty decent burger for a chain restaurant .. all the fixings were fresh tho I got 2 tops for my bun! Chili is ...ok. I'll def go back and try some other items on their menu! Today, after a day of birthday shopping for my mom, we brought her to Cook Out for her favorite shake. Good news - the shakes were great! Thick as usual. Bad news - two of the three burgers were prepared incorrectly. I get mistakes can be made however, the customer service was what was so bad. When the first issue was discovered - no cheese - I was told I should have checked! When the second issue was found- cheese on the wrong burger, with mayo, I was told we should have switched and make sure we just check the next time! I'm sorry but it's not my job to make sure you do your job correctly. I asked for the manager, relayed to him the information and we finished our lunch. Overall, the meal was good, the service and staff horrendous and the restaurant was clean. read more

This place just hit the SPOT. Where else can you get a grilled hot dog on demand that actually decent? We stopped a few times at Cook Out during our our trip due to how reasonably priced they were and how many different options they had. The biggest downsides were that 1) They do not take American Express. We use that as our main card and it was a bit annoying for budgeting purposes. 2) Always busy. We would drive past and the line would be wrapping around the corner 3) Multiple times they were out of items. This gets to be frustrating when you are craving those hush puppies! The shakes are worth the upgrade! I wish we had this chain closer to home because they a great option for even the pickiest eaters- so many different sides and even main choices. The food was good, but it certainly wasn't the cleanest in there. We dined in and 70% we're of the tables we're dirty and obviously haven't been wiped off for awhile. They condiment drawers are absolutely disgusting. You don't even want to open them to get anything out. You definitely want to wash your hands when you leave. read more

So quality has improved, or so it seems. Like my last review noted, it is hit and miss here. Today was a hit. All the chicken was tender and delicious. Wow this place was amazing. Loved the flexibility of the menu. I ordered the double burger which was delicious and a side of onion rings with cookout sauce and a walking taco (with jalapeños). Oh and can't forget the $1 upgrade for a chocolate malt. The onion rings were crazy good and I wouldn't have been sorry to have a double order. During the pandemic a lot of fast food businesses went down the crapper with service, quality, and raised their prices to boot. I stopped going to drive-throughs when local businesses turned off there lights and acted like they were closed. Cookout was the only one I ever noticed "open" with the sign and lights on. I haven't been to this location in around 6 months. Service was above and beyond. Randy was polite and asked me how my night was going and thanked me for my business. Rude staff. "Let me know when you're ready" means exactly that, when IM ready. Don't badger me every 10 seconds. One of them admitted to being drunk and Triple charged my card, then wanted me to pay in cash. They forgot plenty of things in the actual order. Food was bland and undercooked, with raw bacon for gods sake. If you don't feel like having to burden yourself with their job then spend your money elsewhere. My new favorite location! A bit easier to navigate than the King's Hwy location. Of course the menu is the same...Very courteous staff. I'd actually be doing you a disservice if I wrote a particularly lengthy review for Cook Out. I mean, we'd just be burning up valuable time when you could be eating. Look, you should be in line, right now! Just get the mexican hot dog (make that two or three mexican hot dogs) and the watermelon shake. I'm not sure what sort of witchcraft is at work with the hot dogs, but they will change you. Seriously, anything this good has to be evil... Why are you still sitting there? Yeah, yeah, I knoooow; I don't normally eat fast food either! I'm just saying, if you're gonna slip of the rails and the diet is gonna go sideways for the day, this is the place to do it. Honestly, for the price you can't lose. Burgers are good. Cheddar style burgers are delicious. Lots of cheese, grilled onions and bacon. Dogs are good. I mean $1 dollar hot dogs? Such a great place! I mean, I swore off fast food but this place gets me everytime! Honestly, their burgers are better than Burger Fi and Wahlburgers. You can't beat their trays! ;) Customer service! I went in there the other day, Kristin (I hope that's her, it's what was on the receipt!) But she is amazing. And the sweetest person I know. It can't be easy working in a fast food restaurant. I was a bartender for 10 years so I get it. But she recognizes me every time me and my fiance go in there. (Not sure if that's a good thing haha). But she's adorable. We ordered two cook out trays and it took 25 minutes for our food to be done. When I went to the window to ask how long it would be, the cashier rudely told me they had 5 people call out and were really backed up. Cheap Food, but that was one of the worst hot dogs I've ever had. Very small, barely warm, and tasted like liquid smoke. Fries were actually good and the service was really quick. They need to take some classes in customer service! The only person who had any personality was the cashier but the manager was a robot. I made it home after picking up my food and when I bit into my chicken sandwich there was a bone in it! About an inch and a half long. While I understood that it's delivered to them, which is why I didn't go in yelling, the manager made no attempt to even apologize about it. He tried to offer me back just the $3 for the sandwich, like I didn't just have to drive all the way back and then have to get food elsewhere.
