The food was really good. I really enjoy my birthday breakfast. I love the waffle house. I'm sorry I never had a bad experience at a waffle house nor the food tasting any different. But I know for a fact, no waffle house is created equal but the damn food is so good Just a cozy down home all Americana breakfast little corner and I love it and I won't change anything about it And the service is excellent. I don't care less. What are you expect five star Michelin star service come on for what you're paying. All the workers try I don't care what waffle house it is OK you try sitting behind the grill popping all them breakfast and all the stuff going craziness. These guys never get enough credit. It's a lot of hard work and the waitresses. You just work hard too so sit down pipe down. Enjoy your breakfast stop complaining because you're being a crybaby that didn't get what he wanted. If you think you could do any better get on the grill and serve 30 people breakfast within a half hour These men women that work at these waffle houses are hard work as fast pace, and they have to learn everything quick I was a chef for 30 years. It was never easy in the kitchen, but I can't even imagine a waffle house with the criticism I give these people a lot of credit. Service super trash. I know waffle house usually sucks with service but gah damn. I ordered a allstar and got everything one by one. Got a waffle. Ate it then got grits ate them then got ham. Saturday morning I had ordered a chcken melt sandwich for the first time with no onions but they add it. So I go in to store #1246 to get the sandwich replaced plus grits and I get home eating and there's plastic in my grits I was so disappointed.I took it back and I was told because I didn't have a receipt that I couldn't get a refund and I have to call corporate.Please be careful and watch what you eat there at the waffle. read more

I was very disappointed. I went by there Friday night about 10:30PM. It was very disgusting. It was probably about six tables that were filthy with food and dirty dishes. Two people outside smoking and cussing that work there. so the people that I was with, walked out and left and went to the other one down the road. So if your looking for breakfast dinner dont go here! Bacon looked like it was 3 days old waffle good as always...but wont do it again. We left as quickly as we could as we noticed the guy working there was creepy and had a gun in his pocket not holstered and was acting very strangely which made us feel very uncomfortable. This Waffle House had especially nice staff. WH is pretty consistent no matter what state you go. Simple good and cheap.

Food: I have eaten at this location many times. Until today, the last couple of visits were pretty bad. My wife and I always order the same thing on every visit. I get the Cheesesteak Omelette and she gets the Texas Cheesesteak Melt. On this visit at 9am today, they blew me away. The meal was PERFECT! I mean like a three star meal, but at greasy spoon chain restaurant. The omelette, the sandwich and the hash-browns were amazing! I personally complimented the cooks, one cook made my Cheesesteak Omelette and another cook made my wife's Texas Cheesesteak Melt. This was our best meal at any Waffle House in at least 15 years. Service: Lauren was our server . . . OMG, she is amazing and made for customer service. I asked her and she told me that she had ONLY been serving for three weeks. . . anywhere!! She was so so polite, articulate and attentive. Lauren had natural charisma and a happy positive personality. I would hire her in a minute if I owned a business. Lauren has a bright future in whatever she does in life. I was so impressed with the service we were given and the charisma she possessed. Completely amazing experience! read more

What can you say, it's the Waffle House! You don't walk through the door thinking you are getting a 5 star meal. They don't even dice their own onions or make their own biscuits. I actually saw bags of diced onion and prepackaged biscuits. I personally like the waffle house. They have the best hash browns around as far as I am concerned. I like mine smothered and covered. The employee's at this location are super friendly and such hard workers. I will be back for sure! read more

No matter the time of day or what the situation, this location is always the best. Every staff member is welcoming and forever hustling their asses off. Other locations have made me an amazing cheesesteak omelet, but none were cooked to perfection as well as this one. Major love to Sunshine. Food is always delicious - BUT staff is awful. Smile for once - you chose your job, you chose to work with people everyday so stop treating them like they mean nothing. Last time we went the guy we had seemed new and forgot over half our stuff and seemed off - he carried on with his co workers while we sat with empty drinks and half our food. We come here sober. Went to the restroom feces on the toilet top and bottom, urine on the floor and seat, trash on on the floor in kitchen...we left! I get that you can be busy or short staffed, just let us know. This morning I decided to eat at the Waffle House on the corner of Speakes and Hull Street. I ordered the "All Star breakfast". The server was pleasant but the food was a hot mess!!! As I was drinking the small orange juice, I notice black moldy crap in the bottom of the glass. The waitresss said "Yep, it's in the glass alright, do you want another glass or I can take it off your bill?" I opted to take it off my bill. I asked for a glass of water and it had stuff floating in the water, my grits looked like it had buggers in it. I was thoroughly disgusted with this meal . I payed for the meal and left. They do not even deserve a one star rating today. No matter how busy the place is when I come by to order to-go food, i am usually greeted and told someone will be with me shortly to take my order. The place was an older cafe which you can tell that's been there for years. The food is pretty good considering what's around it (nothing, fast food). It's waffle house. The service is friendly but I stomach it best after partying all night or spending a summer night on the motorcycle until 2am. Maybe I'm elitist and I just can't get over sitting down to eat in a dingy, grimy environment unless I have on my Martini goggles but when I do, the food is fine (particularly the pecan waffle). This Waffle House has always done a good job prepareing my food. I'm always greeted with a Good Morning and they keep my coffee hot.

Cheap, and always good. Staff is always pleasant when we're there. Have never had an issue. My husband and I will always go... we can both eat for around $7 (not including tip). We share a double waffle and triple hash brown. Always leave full and at a great price! read more

Waffle House is usually my go to spot!! But this has to be the worst waitress I have ever had!! I order my eggs over medium! I like all the egg whites cooked and ONLY the yolk runny! When I got my food I noticed that the egg whites were still running! So I asked the waitress if I can have new eggs because I like all of my egg whites cooked .. She looked at me, then the eggs then at her order pad (with a very nasty demeanor) and stated those are cooked over medium and that what you ordered.. I agreed with her that I did indeed ordered over medium but I want the egg whites cooked.. She said to me well you don't want what you're talking about because if you want your eggs over medium the egg whites are never cooked.. She was so lucky I was with my co-workers!! Went for a late breakfast with my family party of 5 we where informed by the women at the counter that there was a booth at the back that might be able to fit us ??? Even though it fit 6 not sure if this was a jab at my mother in laws size she not that big ... After we were seated the waitress proceeds to say she's been there 5 months and that she doesn't know how to pass out silverware ? We received torn napkins and silverware that was passed out one at a time ... There were two menus at the table that were very sticky and nasty she wanted to know if we were ready to order I asked could we have 3 more menus .... Moving on..... Drink orders placed, I ordered coffee took forever to get that no straws she came back asked did we want any?? Ordered the food my son asked for his burger no tomatoes I order the all star and the rest of the family ordered there food. It didn't take that long to come my sons burger had the tomatoes that he didn't want. I received my food in phases lol like at a 5 star course dinner with phases 1 ... I ordered grits to the side they came 10 minutes later,bacon didn't arrive until I reminded her, waffle came and no syrup was offered until waffle was cold,had to ask for a refill for my coffee no creamer offered ????? I'm sitting here with my family at this point pretty pissed I'm not gonna lie I asked my wife to take me here after I promised her I wouldn't ask again the food is good even though it makes the toliet hurt so bad lol I did comment earlier before we placed the order lets go to Cracker Barrel but ohhhh nooo my family didn't wanna hurt people's feelings. We had the worst experience ever at this particular Waffle House. We ordered to-go; however, when we got home it was missing half the order! The staff there is unprofessional and needs improvement. The clientele there on Friday nights are trashy and rude. So if you have any class, would like to get treated with respect and receive great customer service without messed up orders then go somewhere else rather than this location. I would love to talk to the owner of that franchise or someone from corporate because I highly doubt they would want their establishment being represented in this manner. read more
