Definitely deserving a five stars right here just for the staff alone. My car had broke down and I was able to pull it into their parking lot safely. After speaking with the staff members working that day they said not to worry about it that it'll be safe there and to come get it whenever I was able to. It stayed there for a couple of days and I went today to go have it towed. As I was waiting for the tow truck driver today I went in and ordered some breakfast with the family while we waited. The staff was so friendly and helpful and got our orders filled quickly and correctly. The husband ordered the Texas patty melt with bacon. He also had a side of loaded hash browns that he absolutely devoured. Daughter had her standard bacon burger and was completely happy with her meal. Unfortunately due to all the stress of my car breaking down and everything that I've been going through the last couple of days I really wasn't in the mood for anything but I did have an order of hash browns. Honestly who can go to Waffle House or not order their hash browns. My hash browns were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside soft and yummy on the inside. read more

The good: They get my order right AND cooked great except my waffle was not quite soggy. I like crispy waffles. I don't remember their waffles like that in distance past. I won't buy waffle again. At least not that place. Might try at another one just to see if crispy. Bad: In case you don't like soul music they will run you out of there with very loud soul music. Be ready for it. Bruce Willis once said in a movie,"If you want to see me cry just play some rap music." I love that line. They staff spends a lot of time putting their loud soul music and stand at music box making sure it stays on loud and clear. They make a big deal over listening to their type music which I hate. Personally I am into smooth jazz and classical. Not the type of music in that Waffle House which ruins my meal. I need to take my food to go I guess. I love their hash browns and toppings. read more

All utensils were dirty. The food was cold and it was just horrid. I took my sister to eat for her late-night birthday and we had a nightmare. The food was so cold that it was gross and had to be sent back and forth. No deserts at all. The forks and spoons actually had real left Over food on them. The server never cared to even check out the filth. Just Do Not go till new owners or staff. You want to eat others mouths and diseases come here. Just sad that such a great place can be so nasty. Hangout for homeless.Bring 20 bucks to eat. Not clean. I felt uncomfortable. Got hit up for money by a guy wih flowers in his hat. Waiter spent a lot of his time at the juke box playing songs and had the top of his hat cut out for his hair. Other than that thee chicken waz tough and small. This place needs to close. read more

It's the Waffle House- consistent breakfast/lunch options. Our server was very sweet and the food came out within 10 mins. I loved that my bacon came out crispy, I was worried because I forgot to request it when I ordered. I also prefer the thinner waffle- it's more crispy and soaks up the syrup. read more

Walked in at 9:00am on a Tuesday the 25th of June. 6 people in the whole place and three of them was staff. Sit down at a table and zero persons said hi,by, kiss my but or waited on me. After a few minutes of the cook and one wait staff talking to each other and the second girl walked pass me three times I got up and said " I'll go some place that I can get waited on". If I could give zero stars,I would. Really bad experience starting as soon as we walked in. Tables dirty, stood for about five minutes before anyone attempted to clean it and half ass at that. The "manager" was a ass. He was argueing with his co-workers, didnt care about taking our order correctly ( very simple order by the way). Food was very sub par, and when he brought our ticket it looked like a 3rd grader wrote it up. 3-4 money amounts scratched out with different amts all over the place. Do not recommend at this time. I have eaten at many Waffle Houses and this is the worst one. Service/waiter seemed bothered that we sat in his section. Did not listen to what we ordered. Witnessed him tell others that were going to sit down in his area that another booth is fixing to come open at the other end. Food delivered was not the way we ordered. We've eaten at several waffle houses over the years and this one was up to par with them. The service we received was good, the food good, and the restaurant appeared clean. Our waitress was especially friendly and the staff appeared to enjoy working there, which says alot. I'd go back if in the area. read more

My favorite Waffle House. The staff was very chill and laid back, singing along to the music and just hanging out. A very relaxed and fun atmosphere. The food was typical Waffle House quality, which is just what I like. I'm going to start by saying I've been to hundreds of Waffle Houses all over the country and this is by far the worst. We walk in, sit, server comes over and just stands there. I had to suggest we should order drinks, coffee(ice cold) and water...which we never got refills on. We would've asked for refills had he came back to check on us. All we ordered was a Chocolate Chip Waffle and a Hash Brown Bowl. The waffle was almost as thin as the plate it was served on. The server just threw it on the table and walked off. While I was waiting for the rest of the food I took the opportunity to wipe the excessive amount of syrup off the bottle. Rest of the food came out, at this point we had finished our drinks, never had the chance to ask for refill. The server never came back over to check on us, went to pay and had to wait for the server to finish his on going conversation with his friends before he could write out of ticket. I think it's safe to say, I won't be returning. The entire experience left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

My daughter and I came in on our way to Shreveport and she had never been to a Waffle House. I was concerned that the parking lot was empty at 8pm but it soon filled up! The cook made everything perfect! Perhaps the best scrambled eggs ever! The waffles were perfection! Great place to stop for delicious breakfast anytime of day. read more

Food was good. The waiter rolled his eyes when I asked for my eggs scrambled hard. He also didn't come check on us anymore after our food arrived. It's more expensive than most other Waffle Houses. My sister had a piece of egg shell in her eggs which was unfortunate. It wasn't crowded so that was unacceptable. We will just keep on down the road next time. read more

Jamie, the manager gave me absolutely 100% the best customer service I could have imagined for a restaurant... three weeks after my visit (which was delicious by the way), I lost my receipt for my expense report. On September 30, 2014, I had just gotten refund from Waffle House on Estes Parkway in Longview, TX that night after one of the cashiers with the name Gypsy on her name tag stole my money a couple of days earlier around midnight. She had refused to refund me my money after I told her that I didn't want her making my food since I knew she didn't like me. She had gotten an attitude with me. She's lucky nothing happened to her that night including going to jail since I didn't have my cellphone on me to call the cops and was still on the clock driving for my job. Not wanting to go to jail myself and get fired from my job, I left, but not before cursing her out. I had contacted upper management about the issue since there was no manager there the night that it happened. All they have to do is look at the camera to see her display such bad and criminally egregious behavior. I finally got in contact with the manager at that Waffle House by phone and he begged me to come pick up my refund since I had threatened to file a police report and sue Waffle House. About a week or so later, I just found out that Gypsy is still working there, What kind of business keep bad employees. If you don't want to have a bad experience, stay far away from this Waffle House on Estes Parkway. read more
