My wife said, I want Biscuits and Gravy and we have tried a lot of places but Waffle House is consistently good! Could be it was her first ever time trying them that was here, or maybe they are just that good! Tammy was awesome! Sigh it's Waffle House so you get what you pay for. The sue chef in charge of grabbing the raw meat was handling way too many things. He went from grabbing raw chicken to grabbing plates cutting sandwiches and never changed his gloves. Just don't look into the kitchen and you will be fine. This Waffle House has a roof issue. It was raining that day and there was water leaking right behind the cook. This meant that every plate that was received from the pass had the potential to be dripped on by the rain water coming through the roof and through the attic and through the ceiling. Great for flavor I'm sure but rain water should be optional not something just added to your meal. We expect Waffle House to be dirty but this was bit much for me. read more

This is the nastiest Waffle House I've ever been to. This location needs to be cited and shut down. The conditions were horrible. The waffle irons looked as if they had not been cleaned in months. The chef and the waitress got into an argument....they kicked cracked eggs and trash on the floor. The chef refused to cook so the waitress started cooking while sliding on trash. She went from serving food to handling money and preparing food without washing her hands. I asked where is your manager. She said their manager has been out for 18 days. My server Tammy was phenomenal. There is a server named Mindy who was yelled at & ganged up on by 2 managers. One name George (older, white male with glasses) and a younger ginger named Jason (also with glasses) not only did they abuse their power but they also made a valuable 10+ employee cry & walk out. I asked to speak to the managers. Not only did they refuse to come out. But Jason straight up left. George eventually came over with a serious attitude. I tried to explain that I enjoy this waffle house that, & he ruined this experience with his unprofessional manner & how Mindy is great but was quick with a defensive reply trying to back & forth with me. Stating how he is older with years of experience, he doesn't owe me anything & if my only problem was that he is an a**hole & if there isn't else he could help me with then I should leave. Then tried to loud cap & attempt to embarrass me that I had the wrong manager. So I fought back stating he would be ashamed not only at his age he should know better & be embarrassed how he's yelling at at a customer for standing up for his employee & ruining my boyfriends birthday experience here. I was then helped by my amazing server Tammy. He later came back "trying to help" I refused his service. He said "I won't even give him a chance"... I did give him a chance & he royally screwed it up & still couldn't apologize. So now I'm here for justice & he needs to face to his consequences. read more

Waffle House never disappoints. This may because I set my standards very low when I visit. It could also be because the clientele and employees are always amusing. On my most recent trip I was fortunate enough to experience numerous drunk customers stumbling into the dining area. One waitress was sitting with her legs propped up in the corner. She was coughing up a lung. When she told us that she was on the clock, but not taking orders, we wondered why. She told us she had just been released from the hospital for pneumonia, but was told she had better come in or be fired. Yay! Our actual waitress was very likely on some sort of legal or illegal substance. She was laughing inappropriately, gnashing her teeth and could not sit still. All that aside, she was a great waitress. Our food was good as always. My burger and hash browns were greasy and tasty. When coming to waffle house, don't expect gourmet dining. Expect an entertaining experience, and food that will fill the void in your soul. read more

On our road trip from Los Angeles, Christmas Day, the IHOP next door was so disorganized and gave us an opportunity to try Waffle House. I had the steak cheese with bacon sandwich and was very satisfied with the order. My wife had the steak and eggs and they were good. Shelly our server assured us that we would be happy with the dining experience and I would agree with that statement 100% I'm glad we didn't wait hours on IHOP and will definitely be back at Waffle House. I am absolutely disgusted. As soon as I walked in to the restaurant all tables were piled with dishes and all workers were just standing around. Finally cleaned a table myself and ordered. While I was waiting for my food I saw the manager named jen walk to a uncleaned table with piled dishes and take a piece of a waffle off one of the plates and started eating it. After that I was to grossed out to even eat my food. I waited for my check and see the manager once agin being disgusting and completely unprofessional digging in her pants. We typically love Waffle House so decided to come here for breakfast. We were sadly disappointed this time. My husbands food had to be redone twice. We weren't offered refills on our drinks. I watched our waitress putting silverware away for a while. Occasionally taking out and using her phone. No gloves in sight. I asked her if she should've been wearing gloves to handle the utensils and she said she's only touching the ends. I love Waffle House! From the Texas cheesesteak sandwich to a pecan waffle Burt's chili to pecan pie! They never disappoint! Just make sure you have your hash browns scattered, smothered, covered, diced, capped and chunked. This location has a dead server. He is very good at his job! Absolutely horrible experience. We stood there waiting to be acknowledged for about 5 minutes. It was only 2 patrons there that had already ordered. Manager gave instructions to the two waiters to try and be nice and get alone when she leaves. My friend order a waffle and they forgot about it 3 different times causing them to burn each time. After the last one was put on the iron I watched it and ask would they please take it off before it burns again. The guy that tried to originally take our order seemed out of it so I asked for help from the other waiter. The guy walked away and started cursing and slinging things. The manager apologizes to us and tells us that she would take care of our check. My food which was cheese grits, cheese eggs and hash browns was horrible except for the cheese grits. Can't believe anyone could give this place 5 stars. It was pretty much a "hole in the wall" diner joint. We went as a party of 4 at about 6pm. We all thought we'd give it a try and have breakfast for dinner. There were several dirty tables even though there weren't many customers. Our server wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone who ordered hash browns agreed that they were very greasy. The two omelets had cheese that was reminiscent of cheese whiz - not good. Sausage wasn't very flavorful and was also greasy. Best item ordered was a biscuit with gravy. Coffee was OK. Sweet was extremely sweet. While there we found out why there were so many dirty tables. Every chance the two servers got they plopped themselves down at a table with what we though were customers, but must have been boyfriends. Another sign of trouble, one of the cooks got pissed at the manager and quit right then and there. Walked right out the back door.
