We loved it. Can't agree with a one star. I wish San Antonio had a Waffle House. There waffles in my opinion are the best I have ever had. Not no funny after tastes. The fruit is probably best with the double portion to it. And it's cooked inside. Who would of thought?! Best wishes to Waffle House I hope they prosper. The waitress we had for each day that we ate there was the best ever! read more

Either you a fan of WH or not a fan. I'm a fan. And one thing about WH is they are consistent. Whether it's 3am with all the bar fools (nothing better that a show with your meal) or 8am with everyone else, it's always good. Best hash browns ever. Service is great. read more

It's no longer Waffle House, it's waffle home. Everything is amazing here, and the staff is extremely friendly.

Absolutely the worse place to eat in Conroe ( Two locations in Conroe ) never set at bar next to cleaning station ( sink ) they will splash water on your food, roaches on bar. just look at the floors in the cook area how can the local heath department allow just filth. Restroom my God why, now I under stand why so many people end up in the hospitals. Montgomery county has failed again, so what's your excuse this time!!!!!!! read more

Waffle House on League Line is usually good & with good service. After tonight they get an F from me. Horrible service!!! Waited forever for her to come take our order & Only because we called her. Sje was more interested in chatting up the guys at the counter & the guy cooking & eating. Food came out 1 person at our table at a time. The others had to wait! We had to ask for our drinks... She brought coffee for two of us & only 1 had actually asked for it. The others had to again ask for their drinks! Had to ask again for syrup. When she brought it, she dribbled it across one of our food... No appology. She Never came back to check on us or remove any of our dishes. Yep, very crappy service! read more

I woke up with a hankering for a waffle. There is a Waffle House that I pass every day on my way to work so I resolved to drop in for a waffle. I assumed that if the word "waffle" is included in the name of your restaurant, that implies that you serve up some delicious waffles. This Waffle House serves up waffles very much like the ones my dear old dad used to make when I was a kid. We never really ate them. Mostly we used them for door stops. If you want to EAT a waffle, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you want a good, reasonably priced door stop that resembles a waffle, the Waffle House is the place to go. read more

Rachel was the best waitress ever. Enjoyed speaking with her. She has a genuine interest in you. The food was good. Had the grits bowl with sausage and requested over easy egg. Pure yummy goodness as I opened the yolk and it drizzled all down the grits n sausage. Hash browns w/cheese and jalapeños was a good portion the small portion. Pecan waffle made me think of my Grandma. My hubby and I skated off with a 27 dollar bill. Great experience, because we had Rachel. read more

Of all the waffle houses I've been to this one is by far the best! Always look forward to seeing Rachel who always seems to remember us every time we walk in. Everyone at this location is always very nice and ready to provide the best service. The food is always of excellent quality. read more

My first time at this waffle house. Service was great. Food was ok. Place is disgusting with trash all over floors, tile so slick came kept slipping. Womens toilet had to be held closed by a chair. One server stuffing food in mouth while walking around. read more

It's waffle house, what can you say? The cook was very nice and helped get a few things for me while the waitress was busy. I was passing through the area and am not form there, and and the waitress was genuinely nice to everyone and had conversations with every single table except myself. She was noticeably colder to me, and my only guess is because I was an "outsider" and not a regular there. Not a great experience. read more

Always great service. Actually the best service I have ever experienced from any Waffle House.

If I could I'd give no stars. The wait was ridiculous only 1 person bussing tables and and playing hostess at the same time. Giant line mainy open seats person couldn't keep up help was needed. After waiting forever for a table we get seated by the bathrooms smh disgusting. We only ordered drinks then our waitress disappeared to the bathroom it was obvious. We decided to leave because of lack of service and was given a bill for our drinks. We went to pay and had to wait in that ridiculous line. There was no one at the register and a waitress proceeded to tell us that they were backed up and we would have to wait to pay. Another customer got told the same thing for a Togo order that it be at least 30min before they would take another order. It was ugly in there! I will not be back read more

I love coming to Waffle House for my Belgian Waffles. The prices can't be beat!!! Friendly service and fast too. I love how the waitstaff stands back and calls out the order to the cook, he's got it going on!!! I am a regular fan of Waffle House. read more

a disgusting place! such poor service! The waitress was wearing the mask incorrectly, I asked her if she would please change my coffee because it was cold and she threw the cup and to top it off she was talking to the other waitress saying bad words !!! I will never come back read more

Great food and a lot of food for a great price! Service was very friendly!!! I will definitely be coming back. As a former ihop employee in the past.. I really enjoyed the food. Only down side was I asked for over easy eggs and got over medium. The difference between the two is 30-40 seconds. Other than that everything was delicious! read more

Waffle House - Love Waffle House! Coffee was delicious - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Conroe, Texas

Usually there's a girl working there that always wears a tinker bell hoodie, she is horrible and extremely rude. But this last time we went, there were 3 people working I had never seen before, including the cook. They were so friendly and had a smile the whole time, even at 2 am, they just kept smiling like they actually enjoyed being there. It was so nice to see compared to the usual waitress that's horribly disturbed by her employment. read more

Sunday mornings are insane at this location, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. They work together and are very attentive to the clients needs. The kitchen sounds like an orchestral accompaniment to all the voices heard around the restaurant. You hear " a side of bacon", " I need white toast", and it's heard by all kitchen staff whom acknowledge the request. Nice folks, good food and all hands on deck. Would defina return read more

Your order is wrong here at least half the time, at least. Be prepared to be frustrated if you're going to this location.

It's a Waffle House, so the food is just the same as any other. This rating is for the employees. Eggs are kept in a basket above the grill. Eggs are to be kept at 45 degrees or below and taken out as needed. There's also a scoop for ice that Mary forgot to use as she scooped a cup into the ice bin. Another no-no. Then there was the taking customers' leftovers and putting them on a plate for some unknown reason. I wish I would have stayed around to see why. Eat here at your own risk. read more

They have terrible service. I was seated and told I would be helped shortly, after helping another table that came after us I was told again 10 minutes later I would be helped shortly. WHAT A JOKE. read more

Literally the worst Waffle House I've been to ever. I wanted to take my boyfriend to Waffle House because he's never been and this one was the closest one to where we lived. I was so disappointed in the service. We came in and no one greeted us. We wanted Orange juice and they were out of that. So we asked for apple juice and they brought us juice boxes. Like what in the world is this?!! I also wanted a side order of biscuits and gravy and they didn't have that either. Just all around bad service. The food was the only reason why we didn't walk out. read more

A good place for a quick breakfast but the food is a tad greasy and the atmosphere is too busy and hectic for my personal taste.

Everyone was very friendly, I was taken care of immediately. Service and food very great! I would definitely recommend.

In my experience, Waffle House is always busy and friendly place to visit, but there was something different about today. We don't often go out for breakfast but decided we'd go out today. When we walked into the door an unassuming gentleman named Walt greeted us and asked us our preference for seating. His manner was like that of James Stewart such that the greeting seemed even more genuine than the one he was paid to give. I watched as he busily tended to the mundane tasks with care. He greeted every customer in a likewise manner and it felt a privilege to be there somehow. All the staff were friendly and seemed more like family. Our waitress, Martha, served us a hot, fresh, and delicious breakfast and was very friendly and polite as well. It kind of felt like we were somewhere else in time, maybe in a small town. Wow! Best restaurant visit ever! read more

My husband and I have eaten here quite a few times on our way back home from his chemotherapy treatment in Houston. We have never had a problem there before due to it was summer time and hot outside. As we was walking in an older couple told us to get jackets on its freezing in there. We went in and set down and sure enough it was freezing. The windows are getting condensation on them. I was freezing now and my husband with cancer is freezing also. I ordered a waffle and it got cold so fast my butter wouldn't melt. I asked her to please turn the air off and was told "If I do they will turn it right back on." By now my nose is running so I took my plate outside and stood by the door and ate half of my waffle. It was to cold to eat so I went back in and noticed the manager was out there now which instead of apologizing he gave me a go to hell look. I thought thats ok, so hot coffee might help and the waitress came and asked my husband if he would like more coffee and looked at me and went on. Really?? I thought. Well she just blew her tip but it was getting warmer in there so I did a favor to everyone else eating there. I will never go back there again. read more

Terrible service. Cassie was very rude when asked if she could clear a table for us to sit. She gave back attitude and told me i could wait because she was stressed. SO RUDE!!! Not including the other lady sat and talked to a table for 25 minutes about colleges instead of taking their order and cleaning off the 5 tables vacant and dirty with dishes. I love Waffle House and that made me never want to come to one again. Conroe Waffle House get your employees in check. read more

Always enjoy Waffle House. Excellent coffee, good breakfast, fast service, and unbeatable price! I wish every day was a Waffle House day!

I was warmly welcomed and my waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. My waffles where amazing and very light and fluffy and crisp and warm very delicious and i highly recommend. read more

This is probably the worst experience I've had at a Waffle House. There were multiple families waiting to be seated and multiple tables vacant but covered in old dishes while the staff stood around and made jokes and played in the kitchen. Our waitress obviously did not want to seat us, let alone serve us over the group of men that walked in the door and flirted with her. To make a point we left a tip anyways. The food was ultimately sub par. Burnt bacon and ham, hash browns not even decently cooked and while the patty melt was slabbed with butter, none of the cinnamon raisin toast had any on it ! The grill was uncleaned and unscraped of any char (there was much by the way). The cooks kept fraternizing with the waitresses while leaving food unattended. Which is most likely why everything was cooked in such a way. The only good location seems to be on League Line Road and this one was just your typical bad restaurant. read more

Good price, food was cooked perfectly, fast service. Much better than service I have had at other waffle houses.
