Having only been to the Waffle House once when we were house hunting here in Texas, I had to return to see if it was still as good as I perceived. . I ordered a Texas Sausage Melt and my wife ordered a Texas Cheesesteak Melt both with bacon and Hashbrowns. Our meals came and both were really delicious. Some of the best cheesesteak my wife had ever had. We were pleased to find the Waffle House was again a good place to eat and at a very reasonable price. Open 24 hours is also a bonus for early morning breakfasts or late night cravings after returning from the airport. We will definitely be visiting the Waffle House again real soon read more

Joey was our server and he was such a delight! He made us laugh from the second we walked in to the second we were leaving. He was the only employee in there with multiple customers and still had such an upbeat attitude and got our food to us so fast. His customer service was the best I've had in so long at any place. This is the Waffle House next to Mama Juanita's and across from Comfort Inn on I45N Conroe: The food, service and ambience was great! My daughter and I stopped by after a little day trip. The staff was so friendly as soon as we walked in the door. The place was CLEAN. They seated us and we ordered. When we received our food (waffles, breakfast sandwich, sausage) it was very fresh, tasted like your mom made it. The music was on point. We walked into them playing some really good 2000s R & B. I am totally convinced that this particular location is not too fond of POC . This is the 2nd time I have come here and been treated fairly rude by the staff. I'm literally the only customer in the restaurant and I couldn't even get a refill on my drink. Waitress didn't even check to see if I needed anything or if the food was ok. She basically sat my food down and never even came back to the booth I was sitting in. Then I finish my lunch and proceed to the counter to check out, well she's the person that has to ring me up. Still hasn't asked me if my visit was ok. So I pay for my bill and made sure I left a $0 tip. But the past few experiences we have heard A LOT too much of the servers in-house complaints much too loudly in front of customers. Came here around 6:30am. Waffle was OK. Bacon was swimming in a lake-sized pool of grease on the plate. Hash browns were undercooked. I like peanut butter on my waffles and pancakes, unfortunately this place doesn't have real peanut butter. We have been to this Waffle House many times before and never had anything but good to say even when they were extremely busy, however, recently we went there to meet our son for breakfast, we arrived earlier than our son so we sat down to order drinks. Not only did no one say "Welcome to Waffle House" when we entered and sat down but we were ignored for 15 full minutes before walking out. I even looked around numerous times hoping to catch someone's eye. Mind you, there were approximately 12 people in the restaurant (hardly busy). We were walked by without comment or even eye contact 3 times. A wait person was sitting on the food prep counter talking away to another customer, no kidding! She was sitting on the counter where they place plates to be served! I'm bummed, I liked this location because it was close to me but now I won't be back. I won't lie... It's been a while! We were traveling and saw that we were staying near a Waffle House... We knew that we were destined to have breakfast here one day of our long weekend! A new menu?! What the wha?! This very exciting! I tried the Breakfast Hashbrown Bowl with scattered hashbrowns smothered with cheese, two eggs scrambled, sausage, and a grilled biscuit. I also had my hasbrowns capped with mushrooms and countrified with sausage gravy! This bowl is a great idea and I don't know why they haven't done it sooner! So on the way to Houston with a starving family charging down I 45 we thought as soon as we got out of Dallas proper we would stop at the nearest one and have our fill. Unfortunately there was no Waffle House to be found for 200 miles so when we finally got there we had a car full of exorcist children. My god I love the Waffle House. Grits ,eggs, fried tomatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles , hash browns, bacon . great straight forward breakfasts served with coffee ,orange juice and chocolate milk. Great servers. Fast and friendly. Loads of food. Ignoring the liberal use of butter or more likely "I cant believe its butter" this was very tasty southern fair.
