This waba is closer to where i sorta live now so i came! I placed an order over the phone for pick up since i was tired and wanted to get home quickly. The order was ready pretty quickly. It was around 7:15pm so i assume that's why...I ordered 2 value bowl combos, with dumplings. The dumplings came a little too burnt but nothing wild. The lady who was working was super sweet and provided me with a larger drink than i had ordered, excellent customer service! The only downside of this lot is that it's pretty dark...so it doesn't feel the "safest" per day haha. Other than that, no issues ! read more

Im sad to say but The last few times of getting food have not been that amazing, Before this incident it was around the same time the same worker had told me they put everything away and so no food for me and hubby that night, and then one evening we hauled butt arrived around 10:45 just before 11pm but when i ran in they basically were ready to clock out and leave for the night and the only thing the worker told me was that they had left was chicken that was TWO HOURS OLD and only white rice! the worst part was how unhelpful the worker was to me, she was nice yes but didnt offer to atleast make me 2 bowls cause that would put them past closing, like i get it they wanna head home and what not but i honestly feel that if Liz was there she wohld have Made me them without any issue or attitude! not only did i leave feeling embarrassed but i also left feeling even more hangrier than when i walked in LOL And then finally we actually got our meals from the same worker mind you, our bowls looked completely sad looking! no meat and basically all rice and for the price we pay i was very very upset ESPECIALLY how awful the service was The last few times. im only going there when Liz is working cause she actually takes her time to make sure her customers are being well taken care of! read more

Uh this place was really dirty when we came here. There were a lot of flies and not even just the big ones. There were little ones surrounding the drink machine. Also the drink machine didn't have a grate for some reason. The aguas frescas machines weren't working and there was no sign that said out of order. There was food on the floor under several tables and on top of several tables so they don't get wiped down much. Also the pandemic isn't over yet and cases are starting to go up and the workers weren't wearing masks. There was no hand sanitizer either. I'm wondering if the staffing is the issue and I hope they improve in the future. read more

I placed an order for pick up at this location and the customer service was great. Shout out to Marcos the guy who took my order. He was very patient and kind while I placed my order. I had a large order and quite honestly was still asking my husband what he wanted and Marcos didn't get frustrated or annoyed instead he asked if there was something else we'd like to add and asked about how many sauces we'd like. I actually appreciated this question because we never use the waba sauce in my household so I was able to tell him we didn't need any. And the food was just as good. However I asked for brown rice with my chicken bowl and they gave me white rice ... which isn't obvious until you're 5 bites in, and didn't want to wait for them to remake it. Once again a fail. I also asked for it to eat there and they didn't give me a tray. No big deal, right? So I thought. They called my number and I tried to pick up the food with my drink cup in the other hand, and the bowl flexed and almost dropped the contents all over the floor. Love the variety and the fresh, healthy cooking that Waba Grill brings to the table. I decided on the steak and chicken plate with extra meat added for and additional charge (approximately $2.50). I also got the salmon plate to go for dinner later. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The meat was marinated and was very tender as well. The plates come with a small salad, I mean very small salad, white or brown rice and half an orange. I love the green onions on top and I always get extra. The Waba hot sauce goes well with everything. They also have spicy carrots and jalapeños if the Waba sauce isn't enough for you. I really prefer Waba Grill over Flame Broiler as everything tastes much fresher. I love coming here and I'll definitely be back. read more
