Me and my fiancé ordered to go and were very satisfied with our dinner. Perfect for family style so that you can try a little bit of everything. There is dine in available if you wanted to sit down and eat there. Staff is super nice and welcoming and overall looks pretty clean. Next time I for sure want to try their chicken wings and the honey butter fries.

They rebranded and their food is now quite bland and lacks vegetables. I miss the old Vons, why did we need another unhealthy American diet based diner?

This place really hit the spot when you have that craving for Korean BBQ. The place overall is really clean and open. Really easy for big groups and celebrations. Staff is friendly and made sure that our banchan is always filled. I really enjoyed the stew. It brought back a lot of childhood memories. Definitely give this place a try!

Well if the new neighborhood couldn't get any better, I'd be just fine with the delicious and economical new find -- Von's Chicken. I've been eyeing-balling it since I moved and it did not disappoint. The spicy ramen, chef's kiss, and it even comes in a cool and heat inducing reusable or disposable to-go bowl. I was super impressed when I opened my take out order and you got yourself a fresh made ramen at home guys! Peep the photos and like ! The grilled chicken green salad on the side was just as fresh and juicy. House dressing was the perfect portion size to salad. They get 5 stars for price, promptness, food quality, and overall service! What's not to love you guys!

Kimchi fried rice and Fried Chicken with Yangnyeon sauce 10 out of 10. I've never tried yangnyeon it's a unique flavor kind of reminds me of ketchup, sweet & sour, it's tangy too, and I went for the med spicy. (Chef kisses here) Service was fantastic, the team on the clock were hospitable and provided great recommendations. Some reviews I read were not accurate. (Subtle side eye) Not sure how long this place has been in business its clean and well maintained. Tables WEREN'T sticky and the long booth is super comfy.

Food: 5/5 This might be the only food I find spicy enough and the portions are decent. I normally prefer the lunch meal which includes rice but when it is not an option, the regular entree is easy to split up as two meals. Out of all I've tried, the red burn chicken is worth it. Service: 4/5 Everyone I came across was helpful and kind. Ambiance: 4/5 Inside, there is a lot of room to sit down and eat. I find the layout a bit odd and inside it is usually empty so I prefer to pick up my food to go.

Von's didn't see my online order that I made at 4pm. It said it was supposed to be ready by 4:20 and we got there at 4:21. I told the guy at the counter I ordered online for Jen and he told me it wasn't ready yet. I stood here waiting for like 5 min then the cook in Spanish asked the waitress what I was waiting for so she asks me and I was like I ordered online for Jen and they just saw the order. I waited another 20 minutes for my order and they gave me a box of chicken that had been ready since I came in (which was weird they got that order but nothing else) along with the freshly cooked jap chae and mandoo so the chicken was already cold. The food is still good but I would never order online again. I would have complained about the cold chicken but I didn't have the time to wait for them to cook another batch of chicken.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet - maybe only two other families inside. We were seated immediately and placed our order within the first five minutes of arrival. Potato and cheese corn dog: 5/5 - it was extra cheesy and slightly sweet. Garlic wings: 2.5:5 - standard fried chicken with cold garlic paste on it. It also had sweet notes. Personally, it was not for me. Classic fried chicken (mild): 4/5 - the flavor on these were our favorite. Not spicy at all, but good chili flavor. Honey butter fries 2/5 - not for me. They wanted to be sweet, but tasted artificial (like no real honey, but a sugar honey substitute). Overall, I would give Von's a 3.5/5. I want to return and try items other than the fried chicken - everyone else inside the restaurant had something that wasn't the fried chicken and it looked and smelled phenomenal.

I don't know why it took us so long to try this place! Maybe it's the name and we thought it was just Korean chicken? But anyway.. we finally decided to stop by this place. And it did not disappoint. We kind of went overboard and ordered too much food. But we tried the bibimbap, spicy bulgogi, seafood pancake, and chicken (I forgot the flavors we got) and everything was good! They are located in the same plaza as Safeway and have lots of seating.

We came here for some Korean fried chicken but we fell in love with their ramen. Their Ramen broth is so good. I wish the egg wasn't overcooked my daughter ate it before I could try it. The chashu was nice and tender. We really enjoyed it. The fried chicken was good too but I think we will come back for the ramen.

    Lunch special, very good!

Came by to try a Korean Corn Dog. Had the one with mozzarella and potatoes it was good. Don't see me doing a fish sausage. Wanted more to eat. Ordered 3 legs and rice with sweet chili sauce. Very nicely presented and tasted very good. Service was attentive. Nice clean place.

2nd time coming here and it's been delicious 2/2 times! We got the Garlic Crispy Wings, Bibimbap, and BBQ Short Ribs which I believe is their Galbi. Food and hospitality has been great both times.

I'd love to try some of the soups and ramens, and I see there are tofu or veg options. I'm just trying to find out if their soups have beef/pork/chicken broths. Their menu doesn't state any of this. Any idea?

    Are there any lunch specials?

Yes they have Chicken Lunch special But Korean Lunch special as well!

I got out voted and thank goodness for majority rule because I stumbled upon a great dish if ramen isn't your thing. Btw - their vegetarian ramen is hella good. Big portions and a top notch broth! Agedashi Tofu, no bonito flakes. Comes with 8 tofu slices. And be warned, it's super hot so be careful. Don't burn your mouth. Comes with a dipping sauce, but ask for a teriyaki sauce. Order a bowl of rice and a side vegetable like cabbage and you've got a delicious, balanced meal. And say hello to Lee while you're there. Super friendly guy.

The dining room is modern, clean, and inviting, with high ceilings and plenty of seating. While I was initially surprised by the wait since I was the only customer, the restaurant quickly filled with diners and takeout orders, making it obvious this place has built a loyal following. I ordered the new Wonton Ramen Soup, spicy and an order of lumpia. As a ramen fan, I can honestly say the broth was outstanding, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The generous portion was loaded with fresh bok choy, perfectly cooked egg, green onions, and large wontons, creating a delicious fusion of classic wonton soup and ramen with a Tonkotsu broth. I also appreciated the oversized ladle-style soup spoon, which made it easy to enjoy every sip of that incredible broth and every bite of the fresh ingredients. The lumpia was crispy and good, but fairly standard. My only disappointment was the packaged sweet and sour sauce. A house-made dipping sauce would have paired much better with the quality of the food. The restaurant itself was very clean, but I'd recommend moving the bussing cart with used bowls, plates, and trash to the back of the kitchen. It's a small detail, but keeping it out of guests' view would make the dining room feel even more polished and inviting. Overall, Ramon 101 was good. Great broth, fresh ingredients, generous portions, make this a place I'll definitely return to. It's easy to see why the locals keep coming back.

Volcano roll is basically a CA roll with chopped scallop on top in a spicy mayo with tobiko and scallion. The fragrance seems like it's then torched for a smoky finish. Not bad at all but today the rice was a little mushy like it hadn't been rinsed enough before cooking or just plain overcooked. Was a little odd texture. The Pink Lady was also really yummy but again rice texture was a bit off. Tempura shrimp with cucumber and avocado inside covered in shredded surimi (imitation crab) and a spicy mayo drizzle. Again not too bad. Gotta say the PORTIONS ARE HUGE imo. YMMV Overall I'd say more than acceptable, rather good apart from the rice today. Could be due to languishing in delivery boxes in transit. This place is located in a small multi tenant shopping center located near the entrance of Hiddenbrooke with ample parking-so that was nice. This restaurant is for sure a local restaurant that serves the Hiddenbrooke community with most of their patrons being locals from the community. That was what we found upon arrival, most of the customers did seem to be locals in for a quick lunch. I would describe this place as an Asian fusion restaurant.-the depth of their menu was surprising-like "Cheesecake Factory-esque" level depth of menu.Their sushi menu was many pages and I hadn't even planned on getting sushi but after looking at this menu,I had to try something-so went with a simple Spicy Tuna Roll ($12.95). Off the Thai menu we decided to go with the Trio Meat Fried Rice ($20.95) Virgin Drunken Noodle ($18.95) Pad See U ($16.95) and Drunken Noodle ($16.95) Well I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to Asian fusion but I've had it more than a handful of times-so I can say with confidence that the food here was pretty good- very tasty-the Virgin Drunken Noodles were Interesting due to their use of glass noodles-the beef in that dish was seasoned well.I ordered my Drunken Noodles spicy and for that they delivered, quite a spicy dish. The Pad See U had really good veggies on it-very tasty and snappy. The Spicy Tuna Roll was pretty standard-the highlight being I somehow got my mother to try sushi for the 1st time by eating a piece of this sushi roll-she didn't hate it which I think is a pretty good review from a 73 year old Native American woman trying sushi for the 1st time. In closing,if u ever find yourself out in the Vallejo or Hiddenbrooke area and you want to give a small local business a try-this place is a pretty good choice-with a menu this big, your bound to find something on there that will make you happy. PS....I forgot to say I really enjoyed the house hot sake-pretty good flavor and perfect item to warm you up in this cold winter times we are in.
