I was able to find items on sale with price clearly marked. There was only one assistant in the shoes section the last few times I stopped in and I usually see a customer or two waiting to be served. The check-out line on the other hand is getting better. I no longer have to print out the coupon sheet as I used too. The clerk can scan the barcode on my phone and it works for all items that are on sale that day. Too bad their system only allows one coupon per transaction which is intentional I'm sure.

Always helpful. And they know the products. If they don't, they will find out. This location is convenient, plenty of parking in front, near all kinds of businesses. Cool beans! Also, the 8oz is a better deal than the 4oz and the only disadvantage is that it won't fit inside the JetBoil pot. The cashier asked if I want to apply some past credit I forgot about which brought the total expense even less! While there, I checked out the latest trail running footwear which I am due to be acquiring as well! Came in the middle of the week at 3pm and very few shoppers.

EVA and manager AARON falsely accused me of returning the wrong item, even though the item matched my REI account, app, original tags, barcode, and product details. They made this accusation in front of my family and other customers, which was very embarrassing. I asked them a simple question: "What exactly is different?" They refused to answer. That tells me they had no real answer. They accused me first, then avoided explaining their own accusation. While EVA was still processing the return, AARON told me to leave and threatened security for no valid reason. After all that, they still processed the return. So the item was correct all along. This was a false accusation, poor judgment, zero accountability, and terrible management. REI leadership should review this incident seriously.

My husband and I visited the store and had a very disappointing experience. His tone and facial expression clearly implied that he thought we had taken merchandise without asking. The socks were my husband's own socks, and the entire interaction felt rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate. They don't even sell the same brand socks at the store. Rather than providing customer service, the associate made him feel accused and uncomfortable while shopping. Customer service training should include basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

I went into Road Runner on Tuesday to buy a pair of cross training shoes. I was paired with Gary,…read morewho was in training. I left with a pair of Reebok's. I got home that day realizing the fit was too narrow/tight for my high arched feet and made the decision to rerun the shoes. I went into road runner the next day, Wednesday, to return the shoes. (mind you I did not buy the membership because it was $19.99(?) plus $49.99 annually on top of the already $160 shoes.) This is when I was told by a manager named Alexis, that I had worn the shoes - when I in fact had NOT worn the shoes besides trying them on in store- and he wasn't going to give me my money back. I told him that he was wrong and needed to give me my money back. He gave me my money back very reluctantly ensuring me he didn't believe me. He told me he remembered me "not buying the membership" and that he remembered the shoes being clean and unworn on Tuesday. I left the store in tears over the interaction. Later, once I had calmed down, I realized I had taken photos of the shoes in store on Tuesday prior to buying them. It came to my realization that Gary and Alexis had sold me the floor sample shoe without telling me and then proceeded to blame me for the shoes being worn. After being treated so poorly, I will never be going back to road runner.
