I am extremely disappointed with how this store has handled the increased demand surrounding the World Cup. I have purchased multiple jerseys from this location, and my experiences have been consistently frustrating. On my first purchase, I had a patch applied to a jersey, and within an hour it was already peeling off. When I returned to have it repressed, I was told that I should avoid putting the jersey in the dryer because that can cause patches to peel--despite the fact that I had not yet worn or washed the jersey. My second experience was equally disappointing. I purchased another jersey and requested customization at approximately 7:40 PM after being told the cutoff time was 8:00 PM. However, I was informed they could not complete the customization because there were two jerseys ahead of mine and they were "understaffed." This was difficult to understand given that there were multiple employees at the front of the store who did not appear to be assisting customers. When I returned on a different day, I was told that customization orders had already been cut off earlier that morning and that I should try again the following day. The constantly changing cutoff times and limited availability make the process incredibly inconvenient, especially for customers who work during normal business hours. At no point did the staff seem interested in finding a solution or making an effort to help. Overall, the customer service has been disappointing, and the process of getting a jersey customized has been unnecessarily difficult. At this point, it feels easier to win the World Cup than it is to get a jersey customized at this store. To make matters worse, parking at this location is extremely challenging. I expected a much better customer experience, particularly during a major event when demand is anticipated. Unfortunately, this store has fallen well short of those expectations. Item said $100 on the tag, got to the register it rang up for $110, I tell the cashier about it and he calls for Angie the manager. She said she wouldn't be able to honor it since it's not the right tag for the shoe. Not my problem or my mistake, if there's a price, you honor it or make sure you actually put the right price on all items so customers don't get caught by surprise at the register. There's another reviewer with the same issue! We went in and my husband and I both bought each other shoes. Matching shoes. They gave us a $10 off coupon each to use. We picked shoes at $110 price tag that was marked inside the shoe. And with our $10 off should have come out to $100. But at register it comes to $120 and $10 off. They're straight scamming customers! We spoke to manager and said the shoe straight said $110 but get to register and now it's $120. They said that they can't do anything about it and blamed CUSTOMERS switching out the prices! YET after he spoke to us, he put the same shoe back with the same pricing of $110 that was incorrect back on the shelf. Mind you still giving coupons for $10 off. They're just trying to make sure they get their quota sales!!! We bought the shoes but I'm really thinking of returning the shoes because of the fact that they didn't honor what was noted and still put the shoes back with the wrong price. They're shady!!!! However, this particular store that is located inside the Irvine Spectrum, is lacking supply. It seems that it is only trying to serve a certain clientele. I buy anywhere from 5-10 pair of the slide sandals for myself, wife, and kids. They are soft and very comfortable. We wear them until the soles fall off. As with such, if you go to this store, you will. Or find what you need. They have only one or two different sandals and that is a shame. On December 10, 2024, I attempted to return a pair of shoes because they did not fit properly. After waiting for about 10 minutes, an employee (white male, approximately 5'7", with a beard and wearing all black) approached me. He did not acknowledge me and immediately began inspecting the shoes to determine if they had been worn. I explained that I had only worn them inside my house and briefly in the garage to check their comfort, but they did not fit well. The shoes caused my ankle to hurt and turn red. Despite this, the employee was very rude, refused to engage with me properly, and declined to give me his name when I asked. The shoes were clearly not worn outdoors and were a gift. My intent was only to exchange them for a larger size, as I initially received a size 9.5, which I was told would be true to size. However, they did not fit as expected and caused discomfort. DEFINITELY NOT impressed with this store. Visited Friday around 5pm. There were only 2 staff I could see. The selection of Adidas merchandise was very limited for a spacious store. I could find better deals on Adidas at Ross or Marshall's. A few more observations: the shoe displays (ALL of them) were in disarray (not really unexpected with 2 staff and a store load of ppl), the wall displays are not fully utilized to market merchandise, NO greeting or thank you (WOW! Don't they want our business); & there was a lot of open space (on a concrete floor, WTH!). We were greeted instantly by an employee named Bryan B. at the door sweet guy, great customers service and very helpful. We were looking for some soccer jerseys and cleats. Bryan made sure we got exactly what we were looking for, plus mentioned some alternatives. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We usually don't spend a long time shopping, as we usually just go in and out but our kids and us enjoyed our shopping experience here even though it was brief. 10/10. Trim is one of the best places to go when it is time to buy yourself some back to school clothes. Every time I go here I am able to purchase so many things for my family and my son and my daughter. They love shopping here because they have so many different options. Inside the Irvine spectrum there is an Adidas store. We have purchased a few things from this location in the past. This is the second backpack that we purchase and my kids really loved it. We actually purchased it about 6 months ago and the backpack is still in pretty good All in all for the price that we pay for we do not have any complaints. My husband and I went this morning to get him new shoes and apparently they were redoing the front carpet but has no partitions, signs, or anything from stopping us to walk into the glue. I love that the employees wear Adidas clothing (including shoes) and therefore can recommend products based on real experience. They are quite knowledgeable about the products any way! We came down to the Irvine location, where we were stopped after being let in (limited number of people), to explain why we were there. After continuing to explain that Adidas customer service sent us to the store he asked that we call them back. Sure enough, they told him the same thing they told us. He argued with the customer service rep and said he couldn't help. I asked to speak to a manager, he claimed he was the manager (but had his name tag turned around- so who knows). I used to shop here a lot because Adidas was my daughter's favorite brand, comfortable, easy to wear, a nice look for young students. However my shopping experience here yesterday was plain awful. When we entered, it was empty. The shop assistants, 3 men, were just standing around the counter chatting among themselves. No greetings, no offer to help, which was no big deal since we did not want to fuss. When we asked for a fitting room though, they were impatient and wouldn't want to be bothered. This Adidas Performance Store is mediocre. The store manager is apathetic and is not willing to help the customer. I went in to buy a pair of Superstars but the manager was rude to me and not willing to help me. And he even doubted me when I said I would take the shoes even though they were a little dirty and the last in stock. A few days later I went back to return the shoes because they were too big. The manager did not return them for me and accused me of wearing the shoes and walking with them outside. He told me he could not refund the shoes for me unless I cleaned them in the store. I was not going to let some random guy step over my pride so I left. On display they only have a blue pair, I was kinda disappointed but J had asked what color I was looking for and my size. I told him black and my size, said he would go check the back. So he did and he came out with not one but three choices of black pair of slides. I was pretty happy cause he told me these were actually the last pairs and we're not on display yet. He had me try them on and these are the most comfy sandals ever. The cloud technology and adidas has come a long way. Definitely worth the money and good service from J. The store itself was very nice. Alot of shoe selections from kid to men to women. A variety of choices and alot of sizes available. Everyone was welcoming. I discovered the Adidas Sport Performance store visiting the Market Place Mall in Irvine. First walking into the place you are greeted by a wonderful blast of AC...nice. The clothing is pretty awesome and appears to be of good quality. They have everything from shoes to workout clothing and causal wear. The staff was friendly and very helpful. One thing that sort of set me back were the prices; priced on the higher side I was about to bounce when an employee stopped to talk to me and pointed out some sale items.
