Ok.....I've been here several times from over am hour away and everything I've come here, the guys were patient and did everything to help a person out. Being a new rider can be an intimidating thing when trying to pick the safest gear you can but the guys here know what they sell and know what works best for each persona needs. February I purchased a top of the line Shoei neotec3 helmet with Sena Srl3 ( they installed free ) and it's been a fantastic helmet. Recently my helmet started getting harder and harder to close the modular portion as well as the shield. I called the guys at Speed Addicts and they said to come on down and they would check it out. After the long drive, I got here and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling, friendly people. I explained my concern and immediately Tony and Alex started working on my issues. Within a few minutes they figured out my helmet needed a slight adjustment on the cam gears and just like that, my helmet was back to new condition as far as function. They wouldn't take money so the next best thing is to let everyone know how great the guys here are and how they live up to the reviews and videos online. Easy to find and parking was not an issue, even with the lot shared with a car wash. The helmet wall looks impressive, but the real issue is actual in-stock inventory. I came in expecting this shop to stand out by having common sizes ready to buy that day, but almost every helmet I wanted to try was not available in a medium, and the same thing happened with riding gear in common sizes. The inventory screen on the wall was a cool idea, but it felt more gimmicky than useful because it was not very intuitive and did not even bring up a keyboard when trying to search. I ended up needing an employee anyway. Once someone finally came over, he was helpful, answered questions, and helped me confirm sizing. The bigger problem was the store experience. Three employees were behind the counter when I walked in and no one greeted me. The motocross gear section was also messy, with random sizes and colors mixed together, and multiple items falling off hangers just from touching them. The dressing room was also weak: no mirror and not much privacy. Overall, decent visit, but not enough to bring me back. This place has potential, but service, organization, and better stock in common sizes would make a big difference. read more

This place was an annoying waste of time. I was changing the oil on my motorcycle and was looking for oil and a filter. Looked up the filter I wanted online and it came up at Speed Addicts. The website showed that was "in stock. I called to confirm before driving there. An AI "sales assistant" asked what I wanted, I read it the parts I wanted, and it read it all back to me and said "Yes, we have these in stock." So I drove to Speed Addicts. Walking in, I saw a very meager shelf with a small selection of oil and filters. Didn't see what I needed and asked for them. I was told "Yeah, those are online only." I said that both their website and their AI phone voice said they were in stock. The answer was "Yeah but those are online only. A lot of stuff says it's in stock but they're online only." I asked if they know the problem exists, why don't they do something about it? The answer was "Yeah, they're gonna do something about that." I called Cycle Gear from their parking lot. New-ish rider here (if you count riding a scooter that looked like a motorcycle for 7 months as experience). I recently purchased a "real" bike (Ninja 500) and needed the gear to match. I love when stuff like this happens: You become interested in a new hobby, you get super into it, and you're fortunate enough to have a place that's local that's relevant to your hobby. That's exactly what Speed Addicts is and I feel super lucky to have a boutique of this caliber near by. I went for the first time a couple days ago, but I was in a bit of a rush so I didn't get to spend too much time in there. I went back today since I was free all day and discovered a pair of REV'IT riding jeans in my size!! I was hesitant to order from Cycle Gear since I wasn't sure what size I would be. Turns out I would've ordered a size too small, so Speed Addicts saved me a huge headache of having to return/re-order. I was almost about to leave too. Very excellent selection of helmets. The helmet wall is such an eye catching detail and it really makes the whole space look/feel modern and refined. That plus the check-out counter with the studio in the background really make the whole place feel well-designed. Service was surprisingly very friendly and helpful. I usually find that when you go to stores/shops/boutiques like this, the staff is usually very indifferent and gets a little annoyed that they actually have to do their job and help customers. Definitely not the case here. So far everyone I've interacted with at the store has been great. Will definitely be back soon! read more

Wow! What a place for motorcyclists and dirt bikers, enduro riders and all the likes! Got A+++ service and a wonderful greeting + hands-on help from the owner, Schad, himself as soon as I walked in, and he ran me through a bunch of different options for what I was looking for -- opening brand new jackets and walking me through several features of the new Alpinestars Tech Air systems. They have a HUUUUGE wall dedicated to all kinds of helmets from Shoei, AGV, Arai, Simpson, Bell and more, and a ton of options for rider wear from ADV, to Harley lifestyle to Street Bikes and Dirt. I gotta say, I'm really impressed both with the selection as well as the dedicated service -- the employees were helpful, can bring up their online system on big touchscreen LCD's to peruse their inventory (see pics), and their prices are right on! I was looking for fuel tank protector pads. I started talking to the employee sitting at the desk at the corner. He checked on his computer and said that he might have one in the back. So he went to the warehouse to bring the part. That was last time I saw him. He never came back and left me hanging for at least 15 minutes or so. His co worker told me that while he was at warehouse his boss asked him to do different stuffs there while having me wait for him in the show room. I waited for 15 minutes and left. This is not professional. It is not cool to keep the customer waiting for long time while multitasking in the warehouse. I won't go there again for sure. read more

No shipping update from FedEx after 3 days .. nothing 5 days later, first mail requesting update 6,7,8 days no update from FedEx (Impossible) second mail still received automated answer...14 ,15 days Now I'm upset I right another mail requesting refund ! Now a human answer me with refund approval cause they do not have stock in inventory.... Drop shipping only . I will never buy from them .... I've been a customer of Speed Addicts since 2010. In short, this is a legit operation, and from the history of my Yelp reviews, I only focus my bandwidth on writing reviews of businesses I can say honestly say good things about. But then again, I'll reach out to the owner first before I write up a storm of a review on Yelp. Speed Addicts is one of those businesses I trust. Here's my story. Over the years I've watched them grow their base of customers. I've visited their showroom/warehouse a while back, and at both locations-past and present. There, I had a chance to get a tour of the space from the owner-Schad (yes, like Chad but with a big "S" parked right in front of it). Cool guy. I can't say anything negative aside from the fact that they aren't as big as, say, Cycle Gear. At the time of writing this, they're a small team of about 7 or 8. Their warehouse was well-organized and clean. I kid you not, the toilet in their customer restroom even had a badet. Beyond perhaps excessive cleanliness, they had two full time customer support reps answering calls pretty much non-stop. Their phone customer support is good. Seemed super fair, good at listening, and didn't seem like the stubborn/arrogant a-hole type. If I have an issue, I'll call them without thinking twice. So far (knock on wood), every purchase I've made has been smooth. But if something doesn't work out, I'm not worried *at all* about giving them a call and sorting things out. Hell, I'm not even worried about asking to speak with the owner. Not that it's necessary, but it's nice to know that there's only one single bureaucratic layer between me and a defacto decision maker. read more

Amazing service! It was my first time visiting this location, and I loved the vibe. The service felt welcoming , and I did not feel pressured to buy anything at all. I had called to confirm that a helmet I wanted was in stock, and when I arrived, the person helping me, Jacob, had everything prepped out for me . He shared some history on the helmet and expanded my knowledge on other helmets . He was super patient and concerned for my safety on the road. He had me test-fit a few different helmets to ensure I was getting the right size and shape. He helped me figure out that, even though I had the correct size helmet, I needed to wear a thicker balaclava to prevent the major vertical movement I was experiencing with each helmet.
