Went to Irv Seaver a buncha times over the years and honestly i was that guy who hung out, stared at bikes, test rode them, asked a million questions, and didn't actually buy anything. Rob always had crazy patience with me and never made me feel annoying, even though i was definitely just tire kicking half the time. I always promised Rob i'd buy a bike from him, but never did, even after referring multiple buyers to him, who did buy a bike from him. When i FINALLY did find a bike i actually wanted to buy from them and went in, Rob wasn't even there Devin ended up helping me out and took care of everything. Super chill, helpful, and figured out all the logistics of getting the bike to me. It was also just fun chatting with Devin, hearing about the racing he's done and all his future plans. He's very relatable and easy to talk to. Also, shout out to Brian for getting my bike to me. They really only hire the best here. He was busy but fit me into his schedule. I had a very disappointing experience at Irv Seaver Motorcycles on 03/17/2026. I initially purchased a sealed motorcycle battery for my 2018 BMW S1000RR. Shortly after, I found an alternative lithium battery elsewhere and returned to the dealership to request a return of the unused item. During this interaction, a parts department employee became extremely unprofessional. He raised his voice, used profanity, and stepped into my personal space in an aggressive and intimidating manner. I remained calm and respectful throughout the entire situation, yet I was treated in a disrespectful and demeaning way and ultimately asked to leave the premises. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from an authorized BMW dealership that should represent a premium brand and customer experience. I believe this incident should be verifiable through the dealership's security cameras and hope management takes it seriously and addresses it appropriately. I am sharing this so other customers are aware of how situations like this may be handled. read more

I'm very disappointed that Irv Seaver, being one of the few motorcycle dealers in the area doesn't have the confidence in installing their own OEM RSD bobber kits on an R18. They sell the kit but their technicians are scared of the job and will not install for their customers. They said the reason is they don't sell too many R18s and don't work those bikes a ton so they're unsure. They told me they can try but can't tell me how long it's going to take and they charge $200/hr. So they expect their customers to say ok, I can't wait to see the bill??? That's just ridiculous!!! If you want more confident mechanics to work on your BMW motorcycle, look up BMW of Riverside. I called them and told them what I needed done, they looked up their bobber install job estimate and gave me a price and it was that simple. I'd much rather go to Irv because they're closer to me, but I don't have a problem traveling an extra 10min to have my bike worked on by qualified and confident mechanics. read more

Great motorcycle shop. In particular, Nick went above and beyond to help me out. I was looking for some KLIM base layer shirts, and Nick went out of his way to go into their warehouse to find it for me. They have tons of gear and the best selection of KLIM gear I've seen. Adam also originally answered my call to their shop and he was friendly as well; and sold me the base layer at a great price. This place is clean, air conditioned, stocked with bikes and gear - and they even have a cafe with breakfast, lunch and coffee. Awesome shop. Went from super excited to bummed, as this would be my local dealer/service spot since they're closest, but given the subpar experiences I've had twice - both with Robert - I'll be buying and driving to the many other BMW dealers for service and future purchases. First engagement 2 of 5 stars: Came in to view a bike admittedly during mid '22 - aka everyone's buying. Bike was not in stock but Robert (or his doppelganger? ) said one was coming in, took my number, and promised to give me a call to try it out. No call ever received. Oh well. Second engagement 1 of 5 stars: Looking at cycle trader for a new BMW, saw an LA dealer had one. Called, asked how much, was offered below MSRP - sweet! Mulling over, decided to see if Irv Seaver had one. No, not in stock, but a brand new posting said on its way in! Same bike + $995 accessory. I hoped maybe they'd match the offer + $995 (for an accessory I didn't want), or honesty open to hearing other creative solutions, which would save drive time and be my local spot! Spoke w/ Robert with an excited jovial tone and he seemed excited about the bike too! I was kind and honest and told him the story how I was unaware they had one, called another dealer and they offered it to me at below MSRP but Irv would be my preferred spot! The minute I dropped below MSRP Robert's tone change and he became defensive and cold and his statements that followed were short and clearly could not be bothered, yet he still wanted to know for how much and he was convinced I wasn't comparing the same bike. I'm not a moron, I already stated it was the same with the accessory and was open to him providing an offer or if he can't it's fine and let me know if I should just go to the other dealer. He said "sure" then just dead air as he hung up or refuse to speak anymore. Just immature non premium brand experience. I sent a nice yet brief email to the GM with a link to this review. Drove over an hour with family so I could purchase a bike and ride back. Only one guy working tells me he can't open other showroom and tells me to wait outside the locked showroom. After waiting like an idiot for 20+ minutes- no one comes over or anything sonI left. Since I work during the week like most, that means Sat is the only day I can shop for bikes - I can't believe they only have one staff working the floor for 2 showrooms. That was enough to let me know this dealer is not going to earn my business. Horrible management and customer service. What a waste of time. Irv Seaver BMW has the best service I've experienced in my life. The culture of service permeates every department at Irv Seaver. I purchased my R1250 GSA in late April. Devin was incredibly patient with me as I went through the purchasing process, I only had about 1,500 question. Devin did everything possible to help me through the decision making process so that when I was ready to commit to the purchase I had no reservations. Little did I know that purchasing the motorcycle was just the beginning of the process. The entire staff has in some way contributed to my growth and extreme satisfaction as a motorcycle enthusiast. The GSA is my first venture into adventure and touring riding so that meant I had to purchase all new safety gear as well as kit out the bike. I feel like I had the advantage of 100 years of riding experience from all the input I got from the staff, Nick helped me pick out my gear, Adam taught me the advantages of and how to use the Navigator VI, Greg in service taught me about tires and warranties, Robert helped me decided between purchasing the Adventure vs the regular GS, Jim saw me struggling with tying down the box for my new helmet on the pillion seat and brought me over the appropriate tie down. It has definitely taken a village to raise me as a new street Motorcycle rider and I can't imagine a better village. On my latest trip to Irv Seaver I asked Nick to help me with some ergonomics on my bike, in an instant he could see that I needed to roll back my handlebars a bit, he marked the spot he thought would work and checked with service to see if they had time to move them for me. Luckily service was able accommodate me and my whole world changed. The motorcycle that I thought was the best and most comfortable ever got even better. My ride home was truly joyous after my experience with the Irv Seaver team. I never thought I'd be looking forward to my next trip to a dealership but I can't wait. A few years ago I test rode a 2 year old used 1200RT that was on the outside lot for sale. On it was a very nice custom seat. After the ride, I told them that I wanted it and put a deposit down on it. The following day when I showed back up, I noticed that someone stole the custom seat and tried to switch it with some other less expensive sea which didn't have the connections for the heated seat Which is first wake up my attention. When I called them on it and they denied it had the custom seat, I showed them the pics I took of it with the seat. Suddenly, caught in a lie, when they went looking, no one could find the seat that was on it which I road. Needless to say I was pissed off and told them to stuff it as I got my deposit back. I would never trust this place and immediately bought another 1200 from a private party and did all servicing through Riverside. I guess they thought they could put one over a woman. WRONG!!! If you are looking at anything at this place, take lots of pictures of the bike before you walk awash after looking. read more

Unfortunately, "I can order that in for you" was a common response when I wanted to something on. As the shops primarily cater to men and subsequently stock very few women's sizes. I don't know about you, but if I'm about to drop $1500-2000 on gear, I damn sure want to try it on. The fit is not just for esthetics, but it is safety gear. The specific features in the shoulders, elbows and knees need to stay in place and still be comfortable. Arriving at Irv Seaver, we were greeted by Nick and Adam. They were very knowledgeable and patient explaining features and presenting many option to try on. Their sales style was thorough without feeling pressured. 1st: I went to look at a new bike there. My bike got a flat tire before I got there right nearby. The service took my bike in and changed the tire right away. The brake pad was low, and they replaced the brake pad. Got it done in a couple of hours. That is excellent, exceptional service and customer service. I can't ask for more and be more grateful. Thanks, Irv BMW guys. 2nd: I hit a pothole on 405 Fwy, and bent the front wheel badly. Asked around for a place to get it fixed. Found Dr. John's wheel service. But I can't take the wheel off to take it to him. So took the bike to Irv Seaver BMW. They took the wheel off and took it to Dr. John who had it repaired. They picked it up and put it on the bike. They called me at 5 pm yesterday the bike is ready. I took an Uber there and got there 30 min after closing. on the way there called them and said we going to get there after their closing hour. They said don't worry we wait for you. Picked up the bike and couldn't be happier. I don't know any businesses that treat their customer so well. Thanks, Greg, Dave, and all the service guys there. I have been a customer of Irv Seaver Motorcycles for over ten years. I bought my first BMW motorcycle there in 2008 and my second in 2009. I bought my third from them in 2017 and my forth (last! Or so I told my wife! Lol) in early August. I have all of my motorcycle service done at Irv Seaver and purchased most of my riding gear from them. Their prices are competitive and they give you up to 15% off of gear when you purchase a motorcycle from them. They are always helpful and get an answer (in the rare case they don't already know it). I received an awesome deal ($5k off and great financing) on my 2019 K1600GTL I just purchased. I also purchased new gear for my wife and me. In all of the paperwork, one of the jackets did not get the discount applied. I missed it until three weeks later. The discount was more than the %15 as it was on discontinued gear. The discount (with reduction of sales tax too) amounted to over $250. I have purchased numerous vehicles in my life and was pretty sure I would be lucky to get any discount refunded after three weeks. Well, I contacted Edwina, the apparel manager I purchased the gear from, sent her a copy of the receipt and she gave me the full discount as agreed. This is simply another example of the awesome customer service that Irv Seaver Motorcycles offers! I would also like to acknowledge Jim, parts manager, Greg, service manager and Dustin, sales manager! They are an awesome team that have always put the customer first! They even provided a loaner bike for me for free so I wouldn't have to get an Uber home. *I made a service reservation a week in advance. I've had bad experiences with service at other places but Irv Seaver has been very professional. They noticed somethings during the service that needed work and they contacted me FIRST and asked if I approved the extra costs and if I wanted to proceed!
