Instead of fixing the issue they tell me to call in. Why have a website if it's not able to be used?? I owe less than 3000 on my loan. You can't do payments over the phone. They have one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I work in hospitality. Can't wait until I pay them off. I am usually on the go since I work at night, and I prefer to do everything through the automated system, but I gotta admit that the people here know how to deal with you. I was misinterpreting some things about my credit and how my payments affect my interest, but Joel was great at making sure I understood how each payment would affect my overall loan. Even though I had mad a mistake and was in the wrong, Andrea made sure she didnt treat me like a number at the DMV. Geraldine also makes sure she follows up with me and gives me her personal extension so I can reach her when I need to. Not a lot of companies treat you like a person. I would never get a car loan from this place it's a joke you would never able to pay off the loan bc they make up amounts that you own. I pay $320.00 when I'm only suppose to pay $304.00 and I'm told I have $30.00 accumulated in late fees even when I pay on time. Can't wait till I'm done with this loan. I have been a client since June 2018 .i understand that this finance company is about getting money but the two times I didn't have my payment on time but mind you within 30 days I have been called like it was life or death! Today being 9 days late NINE days was told 4 times we are finance company and when I gave a date to make payment and would follow up to confirm was told well you were late before (beyond30 days) and we reported to credit bureaus. So I checked and at no time does it show up late Geraldine LIED she had very poor customer service and poor attitude. I don't know what happened to the customer service here but it has went downhill for sure. I moved out of state and got behind on 2 payments. They made a payment plan with me basically giving me the opportunity to catch up within a month. I'm making the payments as agreed and in the process of that, they are calling me 2-3 times a week and sending threatening emails as if they aren't receiving payments. I spoke to a lady there and she said they received my payments so far but they still continue to harrass me during the process. Worst service ever! This place is nothing but a scam. Still making payments but apparently if I make the payment at the dealer on time I get marked as a late payment. Since they don't get the payment. The thing is though on my payment receipts I have it dated on the date my bill is due on time. How is this possible. They also want me to go to 7/11 to make the payment so they can get it instantly. Which is dumb because there's an additional fee to make the payment. Nothing but big rip offs. So I went to buy a little car back in November of 2014; being that I didn't have credit, I was stuck with having Gold Acceptance as my finance company. Now, I understood the fact of having a high APR, and such an intensive insurance policy, etc, but what I didn't understand was the lack of professionalism and customer service. In the time of my account, I had been transferred through 5 different people to manage my account. I have spoken to many people, and they're all disrespectful and rude. I actually have let my car be "voluntarily repossessed" due to the fact that my payments were too high, and I couldn't handle the stress this company put you under. They are not a good company to bank with, definitely is not worth going through this company. Buy a car outright, or find a different finance company. To all beware of this finance company. I purchased a 2009 Mini Cooper s which was running for all of maybe 3 months before it took a crap on me and being mechanic I soon learned it was not worth what I paid. I put $1500 down on a $4500 sticker price which none of the down went towards the purchase price all kinds of fees and taxes took that. Took me a year to finally get it running right after thousands of dollars later. But in the mean time Gold Acceptance kept harassing me even when I was just a few days late I was making the payments on time but had some difficulties like most due to Covid shut down and feel a little behind at times but always made the payment. They blow up your phone just 2 days after your past due date making threats and such things. I try to pay through the web site it never works and I even tried to pay through money gram which wasn't Gold Acceptance fault but that doesn't work, use my banks bill pay but it is a 10 day process so it is late to them. Even tried making 2 half payment between two pay periods and still get charged late fees and get harassed every month. Went to a 7 eleven but you can't make payments without using cash. I am a disabled veteran I don't keep cash on me. So what I am trying to tell everyone is don't do financing with this company. They have terrible customer service and are very rude and are the biggest liars and bullies I have ever encountered. I will soon have this paid off and I strongly advise anyone trying to get a car financed "Do Not Go With GOLD ACCEPTANCE" as your financing means. Walk away if there is no other. They also charge me for insurance when I already had insurance and extended my loan without my knowledge. They are are a shady finance company. The customer service is subpar, EVERYONE I have spoken with over the last month has been extremely disrespectful, ignorant and insolent. This place thrives on illegal repossessions, corrupt business practices, incorrect credit reporting, and over charging. Now, I'm no mathematician or anything, however, I can count and read very well. My contract says 285 for 26 months that does not mean you can add another 3000 on top of the agreed upon amount. 26 months ended for me June 2018, my car was repossessed July 2018, less than 30 days late on the las payment, made an arrangement with Oscar, apparently that was useless.
