Let me start by saying that after reading the other reviews, they're a little silly because this is a bank that deals exclusively with people that have credit issues. In other words, they help people with bad credit reestablish themselves. So obviously their collections have to be a little bit more aggressive than, say, your local credit union. That being said, they have worked with me for the last four years in a completely professional manner and I have nothing but praise for this company. read more

This company is the bottom of the barrel, just like their employees. It seems like they only have a handful of customers and are barely surviving, at least, they make it seem that way with the desperate and harassing calls. Poorly uneducated rude and vulgar replies when you call customer service. They will quickly hang up on you if you reply to them the way they talk to you though LOL. GUARANTEED TO CLOSE!! read more

I have never had to deal with people so rude and unprofessional in my entire life. It's like calling a bar trying to make a payment, nothing but rude insulting people who won't help you. I have called two days in a row trying to pay off my loan and they refuse to take my money because they prefer to be insolent children about everything. They seem to prefer their customers to be unable to pay, this company is running a scam, and even if you make all your payments, they will give you the run around and hassle you. Literally just trying to pay off this loan and they tell me they can only take $1400, then the next day it's $600, one day I have to wait 24 hours to make another payment, the next day they say it's a 30 day waiting period. Don't ask for a manager, whoever is already on the phone will claim to be the manager. read more

This is the worst finance company you can have for auto loan, customers service representatives including the Manager Chris In which he was very unprofessiona he harassing me that he insisted over and overthat on phone conversation that I needed to make my past due auto Payment when the vehicle was alrredy declared total loss From my insurance company progressive Adjuster and settlement payment was n place and was mail out to them to Esther Sol Acceptance representative assisting with my loan claim and payment was issued to his finance company Sol Acceptance after she provide my payment history of my monthly payments and loan Agreement documents When spoke Chris he stated he new all guide lines to my loan contract he was rude asking to pay my total loan amount owned Agreement he said Insurance denied payment and the reason was because I was late 44 days on my auto loan payments I explained to him this is why I have Gap Insurance to cover any difference owed to the finance company if the loss occurred in 30 days of the the Date of loss. The Gap will cover the contract that if the vehicle was declared, the total car payment was less tbe 30 days past due in, which was only 15 days past due the date of the loss Mr. CHRIS insisted RHAT I was responsible to pay the total amount of my loan Agreement BECAUSE THE INSURANCE COMPANY DID NOT SENT SETTLEMENT PAYMENT HE KEEP ASKING ME TO PAY MY TOTAL BALANCE OWED OF MY LOAN on the vehicle that already had signed a document a power of attorney form releasing responsibility on the vehicle I MAILED OUT priority mail to the Finance company and to my insurance company I explained Mr. Chris, I was no longer responsible for paying any balance on the vehicle that was released out of my name, and that settlement amount was already issued and was going to be mailed to His finance company Sol Acceptance Information addition, I stated to Mr. Chris, Manager, I said that Esther she already assisted me over the phone and explained to me she stated I didn't have to do anything. else That when settlement payment was received on her end Heather stated that when payment was received from my progressive Automobile insurance Company I that Gap Insurance automatically was going to open So I didn't have to contact her anymore that a letter was from her company was going generte to be mailed out with three to four week's stating the loan was is paid. I am unhappy and furious because I checked my account status online. Evidently, I have a balance to owed over $2200 and the acceptance loan company. I honestly know this is total wrong if you see my Gap Insurance contract will cover any balance because I am still covered within thosguidelineses on Gap Insurance I do know that I'm not responsible to pay and billed balanced if Sol Acceptance already received settlement payment Gap Insurance states will covered the remaining balance if was less then 30 days late on payment land I was only 15 days past due from. I wish this place no business at all. They are predatory lenders and will harass you even if you are one day late on a payment. Even if you have already made the payment, they are calling you because their "system hasn't registered it yet". Horrible staff who are rude when you call. I WISH I had read reviews on this place. The experience is mostly awful by everyone. read more

Terrible customer service the rudeness and harassment is completely disgusting no one should ever think about using this company. And it's the whole company I've spoken with supervisors and they are just as bad. I'm rarely more than a week late on my payment and from day one I'm being harassed. I've always made my payment and the things they will say can really hurt. They are lucky they are on the phone because they wouldn't talk to me like that in person. Or they'd need a dentist. read more

Sol acceptance is the worst . You are better off passing if this is the only loan you can get. I was late as I got laid off. I had repairs that had to be done and their rep said that their mechanic can fix the car and tack on to the loan, sounded like BS but since the car wasn't running , I thought why not. It was indeed BS. Well they called it voluntary surrender, then repossed. Took me to court for the difference between what they sold it for and what I owed. and 1) never notified me I found out on a fluke by calling in to ask about payment arrangements, not knowing any of that already happened. I showed up totally unprepared. They won the suit even though I told them they were going to repair it. They lied and said they never did say that. So now the suit is over, they never called, ailed or wrote toake arrangements for payment. Never. I tried to call and nobody knew what I was talking about. So now they're garnishing my checks, again with no notification. Ridiculous, as all they had to do was call me or mail me?! That was just the end of the loan. The whole length of the loan is a shit show with those people. I wouldn't recommend them unless you want incompetence, harassment, and all around Bullsh*t read more

Pretty simple, just avoid them, they dont care about their customers, they dont care about pandemics, employees call & text you threatening you, an employee asked for "personal favors" in exchange for more grace period. Just overall super shady company. If you have a car financed by then easiest way out is just take the car to get refinanced elsewhere. It would be a shame if the company had an accident. read more

The long and short of it is: "DON'T TAKE A LOAN HERE UNLESS YOU ARE TRULY DESPERATE." Easy Application, High interest rates, zero customer service, but you'll get the car if you continue paying. Also, they have NO ESTIMATE for when they are able to get me my pink slip. While yes, SOL Acceptance will get you the loan, avoid them if you can. I took one out when I was a young adult getting my first car. Not only has their website not worked for the 5 years I've paid off my car, they have no system in place to check ANYTHING on your account online, so all interactions must be through mail or phone. In addition, the workers are woefully undertrained, and in order to get any kind of straight answer I frequently have to transfer multiple times and literally send physical letters. Today I tried to pay off the remainder of my call, and I had to be transferred 3 times to someone who could even explain the process to me. None of the employees the call gets routed to knows how to explain? That's rough buddy. read more

He had the audacity to ask if I got breaks or a lunch and expected me to call them after the payment was made. How hard is it to check my account to confirm the payment was made? If I could leave 0 stars I would. Very horrible customer service. When purchasing a car please make sure that you do not get this car loan company. Very bad reviews and I don't understand how they continue staying in business. They gave the pink slip of a car in my name to a third party not on the account. A guy Eric told me twice that he mailed it to my home but never did. Several months went by until I found out someone else had it. Eric argued with me and was very rude. I am going to file a formal complaint against this company. But I really do not know how this company is staying in business with so many bad reviews and horrible customer service. Please avoid doing business with this car loan company. You can file a complaint with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation: https;//dfpi.ca.gov Or call 1866-275-2677. read more

This is a very long review so bare with me. It's worth it in the end. Let's just say police and lawyers are involved now. My husband and I purchased a car financed by Sol Acceptance in 2019. A 2008 Ford 150, beautiful truck, worked fine. In March of 2020 the engine blew up, older truck, it happens. Shortly after my husband and I lost our jobs due to Covid-19 so we had to do a voluntarily repossession. We organized a time to get the car picked up, handed over the keys and the car left. That should have been the last of it, but the story goes on. We never received a notice of repossession, although they said they sent it certified mail. When I asked for proof of signature they had nothing to offer me. They could not prove we received anything. Now, May of 2021, parking tickets start appearing from the city of Bellflower. The car is still out on the streets, IN OUR NAME. After repossession they either sold the car off, it was stolen, whatever happened they never let the DMV or anybody know we no longer had the vehicle. We are being sent to collections when this car has not been ours for over a year. When I contacted sol acceptance and spoke to Judy, she said unless we paid $1500, they wouldn't send any documentation to us to give to clear the parking tickets. They wouldn't even send notice WHY we owed 1500. Nothing, nothing in writing. I just wanted a break down as to how $1500 was reached. Judy Just wanted a credit card over the phone. Long story short, we've filed a police report with the city of bellflower, hired a lawyer, and I will definitely keep you all updated on this riveting saga! read more

I don't usually do reviews because I'm always understanding of the case, but this has got to be my worst experience with any customer service I've ever dealt with. The people working here are insensitive, unprofessional and they will make you feel dissatisfied with any given situation. I DO NOT recommend having any relationships with this company and my heart goes out to all of the people that have to deal with this kind of behavior. read more

I've been dealing with them for a few years now. I've always thought it was only myself that feels this way towards this company but clearly everyone feels a way about them. Unprofessional at its finest. They will lie to you , make arrangements with you, harass you and go as far as sending repo men to drive by your family's house even when the payment was made. They will have their colleagues call and ACT like they are the repo company just to get more money out of you. If i had known these things about this company before I made this purchase I would never have done it. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! read more

This company is awful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A JOKE, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXTREMELY BAD AND RUDE, TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE DURING THE COVIT19 CRISIS... SHAME on THEM.. Martha AKA Molly she is a manager their. This company is a joke, I called in on one of my cars that I got from them, where the engine died on the very first day. Then a few months later the engine went out again, no fault of mine when the car was well serviced by me. They stole the car and held it hostage, even though the payments were up today. I and had to deal with 4 different staff members who were all rude and unwilling to even take time to deal with issues, so they could keep jacking up the price. The employees created this situation so they could make more money due to the covit19 issues, if you have a choice avoid doing business with these shady mo foes....I just noticed that my comments are 1 or the many bad comments on yelp about this company...please stay away from this company..... I wanted to note that not everyone has bad credit, that deals with this company, cause I sure dont 750+ but got a good deal on a gas saver that I wanted to use for my work commute instead of putting miles on the 2020 c63 (MSRP 103,019)... the car I got from them turned out to be a lemon and Solacceptance crooks who would do anything to make a buck, not collect a buck because this was not about collection, this was about generating new revenue during the Covit19 crises. Shame on them they need to be shut down by the Government. sorry for the errors, to upset to fix the spelling so deal with it at lease you getting the truth about a shady business with shady business practices just see the comments below... I've been financed twice through SOL Acceptance. The first time I was laid off and had to return the vehicle. Even with a repo They still worked with me on my new car. Interest is a bit high but what do you expect when you have horrible credit and no other options? As long as you are within the 10 day grace period they give you they do not harass or bother you. Sol acceptance is the worst company in the world to do business not only does the representative Gabby which may go buy a many names is the worst female that is unprofessional and unfriendly. But the company never provides who they are and what their policies or procedures are that I have to ask multiple times and failed to get. I wish I can put them out of business that's how bad this company is to deal with! Had I known whom I was dealing with prior to getting financed I would have rather walked away and be at peace than the deal with these people and they're not courteous or providing any great experience. You have to stroke their ego in order for them to give you what you want if anything a few times they threatened to take the car because they didn't keep their end of the bargain on issues paired with that said I wish I could give them less of 1 * it will be in negative 1,00000%!! Please if you're desperate. This is not the company to give you a break! There's other better companies that will treat you better even if it's higher interest at least you will be treated with dignity and respect than this company! I really wish I can get my money back but due to the laws it is nearly impossible. Just because you were treated fairly in nicely does that mean they're not consistent and or have attitudes when dealing with an issue or you disagree with them.. I've never hated a company, but due to their experience and how they treated me I can finally say I hate this company! And I'm not doing this review just too play Revenge, they really have poor customer service as well as attitude through the phone!! And the worst part is you can't even check your balance online or know anything about what you have.. Please again I urge you to think twice even if you're desperate trust me there's other companies like deal with people because of their credit and and get treated better! As reluctant as I am to even leave one star, I know I must in order to leave this review. Otherwise, I'd rate in the negative. If you're considering doing buisness with them, save yourself the headache & go LITERALLY anywhere else! They're rude, unprofessional, unnecessary attitude, unorganized they lost my payments twice and they're on autopay , not knowledgeable about their own profession, & I've only been suckered in as a customer for less than 5 months to find out! If I can give 0 stars I would!! Every time I deal with this place I get rude and un profesional service! There is a few people who are great like Edith, but over all everyone else who I have spoken to on the phone are completely rude and un profesional! Today I called to make my payment, and they told me there was a new system in place that made me pay a $5 convenience fee. This was the first time I hear about this! Usually when any company changes their payment methods or add a "convenience fee" they make you aware, this company had my phone number, my address and email address on file! I didn't receive anything. They told me it was on my last statement that was sent out on the 20th of July! So I checked my records, pulled my statement out and nothing. So I called and told them that there wasn't anything there! The first person I spoke to was very rude and I proceeded to tell them that I had already spoke to Edith about it and she told me to check my statement. I told that person that I wanted to speak to a manager and she put me on hold, came back on The phone and told me her manager said they weren't gonna waive the fee. I had to tell her about 4 times that I needed to speak to a manager because this was a huge inconvenience for me! The manager "Juan- collections manager" which he didn't want to give me his last name, just JUAN. Was very rude on the phone. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit upset so I used explicit language with him. When I asked to speak to Some one higher than him or the general manager, he said she wasn't there. When I asked when was she there he said he didn't know!!! Umm really? U don't know when ur general manager is there??? The fee is only $5, I have $5. I'm not gonna go broke from it, but it's the principle of it! If there was any literature on the "NEW FEES" I would mind paying for it!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS LENDER!!!!!! I am not one to complain, but how is that during a Pandemic they have no sources to help their customers in need? When asked if a differment was an option they said they didn't get approved for a small business loan to help their customers so they are unable to help. All they said was to hold off on the labor and make my car payment. Hello U Fucktards! I clearly need to fix my car to get to work to be able to make my payments. This company is seriously the worse company ever, their customer service is disgusting and they seem very incompetent of their work. I Would Never Recommend anyone to get their loan with them no matter how desperate you are they are a selfish company who does not look for ways to help their customers. I sent an email earlier in the year asking if there is any way that they can help me out since i was out of a job because of covid-19... the response i got was "Please call the office immediatley" so since i am already aware that they are crap i managed to still pay my car! late but i paid it... they added a late payment fee of $93.10 to my account but added my premier payment to the late fee so it looks as if i only made a partial payment on my car. I spoke to MARY MARCIAL who is the "account manager" at Sol Acceptance and i explained my situation to her.. i am a single mom i am out of a job and there is no way that i can pay the late fee of $93.10 at this moment! i never said i was not going to pay it i just said i was not able to at that moment.
