I am a manager of an automotive repair facility. A car they financed came to my facility for repairs. The car had a blown motor and the registered owner was unable to afford repairs and abandon his car. Because California law dictates that we were required to lien sale the vehicle. Juan the manager of Sol Acceptance tried to negotiate a settlement price. He was told how much was owed and refused to pay. The car was sold at a lien sale. The person that purchased the vehicle repaired it. Juan directed Sol Acceptance to steal the car from its legal owner. There is now an open law enforcement investigation read more

To anybody that is looking to get financed through this company I highly don't recommend it. First the people that represent this company tend to be rude and disrespectful. That goes for the low man on their totem pole to the top. We all go through hard times and I'm pretty sure this goes for the people that work there, that being said you would think they be understanding to certain situation's and there was always communication with them. Unfortunately all this company cares about is there money. Then the information that is given to ypou is always going to be different from one person to another. I paid off my car with them and was told to give them a couple of days so they can send an email out and mail a letter stating that the account has been paid and closed. It has been close to four weeks and I have yet received anything yet, so i decided to call and check up on that once again I'm told something totally different. When I asked why everyone has different information and why nobody gives the same the representative Julio got very rude and aggressive. Good Job Julio that's probably why your on the bottom of the totem pole and probably stay there the remaining of your career there. Dennis Cusick is one of their Managers, for a manager he really needs to learn some people skills cause not just him but this whole damn company lacks people skills, communication skills, need some respect. If all possible avoid this company. If anyone looks at their reviews on the Better Business Bureau Website it gets even worse. read more

Haven't had an issue, they helped me during my struggles & a good tip is that they prefer that you call and tell them you're going to be late with payment rather than leaving them in the dark... :) read more

They finance JUNK & STOLEN (found out place my daughter got her that is financed through them & it's a vehicle that is now under investigation by dmv because the VIN is a non existing)cars! read more

I think it is completely disgusting this this company's behavior in a pandemic is not understanding. I have advised that my hours and salary is cut and that I cannot make a full payment "on time" however that I can still pay towards it and they are bullying me into "Filing for unemployment" or "borrowing money" to make my payment. I asked if there was any grace period and they said they can come get the car any day after the payment date has passed. This company is trash and not worth anyone's business. read more

Worst financial company ever! As we approach Coronavirus I just got laid off my job I asked how were they able to assist.. they told me "well aren't you going to get unemployment" ? I said by the time I file the claim and get paid for it.. the next payment will be due! How are you guys not willing to help out! I always make my payments on time and this isn't our faults. Good luck with this piece of S- company.. read more

No stars. My child passed away and i needed to make my payment 11 days after the due date. Edith threatened to have the car picked up. No sorry about your loss, no understanding and all other payments are current! I am speechless. Dealt with this company as last resort but if I can save those reading this..... read more

The level of professionalism is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service. I'm certain the job requirements are less than what Walmart requires. Avoid purchasing a vehicle from CJacks Auto as this is the company you'll have to work with. I'm not going to go into details but ultimately the main idea is to pay for the vehicle on your due date. That I understand but if some type of financial snag happens and the co-signer calls to let them know I'll pay in a few days when I get paid. The very thing you don't feel like doing is answering idiotic questions about the due date etc. I called to give facts but now I'm being told well to secure the vehicle we need to talk to your son. Who turns down money?! Just dumb as hell! I'll be logging in on Friday and making the payment. This group needs major training and they need a real website. read more

I've had an auto loan with SOL finance for about 1 year, I decided to attempt to check my account balance .something ive tried to do online at least three or four times since purchasing the car. Well, the login online is broken and has been since I got my loan. You can't login to your acct online at all. You can pay your bill though, don't even need your acct number which I always thought might lead to issues. Turns out someone else's payment information ended up on my acct one month. They reversed it to their credit however when I found that on the report I requested and brought the security concerns I had because of that and was interrupted very rudely multiple times with don't worry about it. t's not important don't worry about it. That's horrible customer service. I know with poor credit there aren't many options but that doesn't give the staff permission to treat you like trash. Onto the main concern at hand: There are errors as to how my payment is being applied to my principal. Ive pulled up the amortization chart and I ubderstund the whole daily rate thing so based on what day of the month I'm paying yada yada but the amortization chart should give you a rough idea. It shouldn't be off by 100 dollars multiple times for the amount going to principal when the amount is only 300 a month. I called the company long story short asked to speak to a manager after being spoken to incredibly rudely .Waited for over 12 minutes on hold with absolutely no check in before I finally hung up called in and asked to speak to a manager was told a bunch of garbage about how I couldn't speak to a manager, they were INCREDIBLY hostile the whole time I was on the phone. When I finally got on the phone with the "manager" it turned out they just gave me back to the first person I talked to who put me on hold the first time for 20 minutes after treating me like trash. She told me about the change in the wrong payment and when I brought up the improper allocation of principal compared to interest she repeatedly told me I obviously don't understand, that I clearly don't know what I'm talking about (I know the terms of my loan and how a fixed rate auto loan works), that even she doesn't know that much about these things because they are very complex but assured me many times that there was NO possible way that my loan could be improperly allocated. What told me they really could be doing something shady was the response: "what does it matter as long as the loan is paid off in the same amount of time who cares if less goes to principal right now anyways" it matters because on a trade in I should have more equity in my car and if you're not following the contract then how can I trust that you won't do other things to break the contract and truly ruin my life. It's like you guys see someone who has bad credit and decide well, they're stuck with us so we can treat them like shit and do whatever we want because what are they gonna do? I called the car lot I bought the car from and told them about it they had the owner of the company call me that night and he listened, told me oh my God I can't believe that happened, then said okay here I'll call you tomorrow once you're done with work don't worry 6 works for me all this well it's 3 days later and no phone call. For the love of God go somewhere else for financing. Just pay at a carlot it's safer than this company. I know that sounds crazy but it's accurate. read more

This place is the worst ever. They Treat people in the most inhuman way and unprofessional manner. Im glad we will be refinancing with another company. Wish i could give ZERO stars. I guess I must join the others; just happened to check Sol out, and WOW. I am truly sorry I got into my car loan with them. My payments don't get received for some reason; this is the THIRD TIME. I don't believe is the mail; I believe its them. After paying car payments successfully all year from April, 2019 to May 2020 without difficulty and now two months in a row my payments don't reach them. VERY, VERY STRANGE!. read more

If they had no stars to a half star would work. Trust the comments and take heed. First the online service is only for payment. The loans are completely predatory(18% or higher). Customers service is only to be a nuisance. I pay on time and no matter how many times I ask to change my due date it never happens. Then they run another business there called blackfish investments which is just janky. Beware just because you get the car you want means nothing when you pay triple the price. read more

The other reviews seem a bit crazy to me. Ive never been harassed or treated any kind of way even if I needed to do a partial payment or i knew I would be late by a couple days. They were always really cool and appreciated me being up front. Id give it 5 stars but only reason for 4$ is there was no way to tell where my money was going and they never send out any sort of receipt so I have to keep track of payments and what I still owe myself. read more

Crappy and shady company! I bought a car at CJacks Auto in Orange and because my husband and I have challeged credit we got financed through Sol. Long story short the car was a lemon towards the end of last year our car either wouldn't start or when we drove it, sounded like a lawn mower. I talked to several people at sol asking if they had a mechanic and explained I couldn't afford keep up with the car payments and the ongoing repairs. I even asked the owner Chris at CJacks Auto if I could trade in my car. Anyways after 1 month of the run arounds I told Sol to come pick it up. And now a whole year later they're taking me to court over $2500. Eric Chappa said if I didn't agree to pay $200/month to pay the remaining balance they would garnish 25% of my paycheck....these people are bullies and are unprofessional! I hope they go out of business they've taken 12 people to small claims court this year because they do business with dealers that sell bad cars read more

If I can give -5 stars I would , this place is the worst they repoed my car over a year ago sold It , now lets start off I got it taken from them Because these people Popped up at my job! Calling everyone on my application looking for me. Then now almost a year later some Dennis is calling making threats to show up At husbands job calling his repeatedly leaving messages that he needs to know what building my husband is in so they can show up and basically humiliate him in front of his coworkers .I called this man for him to Say we owe him $5000 after the sale of the piece of shit car we bought , then I told Him I have an invoice showing half of what he saying . So we faxed him the invoice he hasn't even said he received it he still calling harassing my husband . I shall be getting a lawyer to sue this place for constant harassment Horrible ! This place needs to be out of business forever and needs their business practices investigated. I'm gonna start recording calls read more

Do not obtain any auto loan for this absolutely low class company. I understand some people don't have a choice with credit options but if you want to be treated like a piece of dirt don't say I didn't warn you. I have been making my extremely high auto payment for the past two years. I've had one late payment I believe the entire time. I called them and after much going back and forth they offered me a deferment that is for emergencies only and can only happen one time on the life of the loan. Since I've been laid off and am in an extremely tight and stressful situation with my bills and funds I accepted and appreciated the opportunity. After sending the form but mentioning the $39 fee would need to wait until the morning (my car insurance had to be paid or it would cancel coverage) my so called account manager was extremely belligerent asking me what happened to the $200 I said I had previously and stated that they don't have to work with me on this (basically doing me a favor). She then proceeded to threaten me asking me where the car is and what is the address? I hung up on her after that and called back asking for a real manager. Again I was told by Leandra that I am not holding up to my end of the deal. Are you all really that concerned with waiting 24 hours for a$39 fee? Here is a tip Sol Acceptance, try treating your customers with respect and kindness. It goes along way in all situations and people really appreciate it. I do not accept being treated in a threatening manner, especially in this really stressful point in my life. I am really quite shocked at this treatment of a so called account manager and do not suggest anyone using this company if you can help it. If you must pay it off quickly and be done with them as soon as you possibly can. I don't know what happened to real customer service but this company is the worst! read more

No stars, no fucking stars!!!! Claudia is a BITCH!! She doesn't know how to talk to her customers. She talks to me like I'm a 4 year old child. The transmission went out on my expedition, it was unexpected and caught me off guard. I had the amount to pay for this month (September payment) I didn't pay it, because I had to put $500 down for the mechanic to start on it. Right now, I'm out of a car and I'm begging my coworkers for rides. I explain that to her and as soon as I get paid, I can make a payment.......OMG, that bitch went off on me like, I borrow the money from her. I told her I don't like the way you talk to me and you need to claim down and talk to me with respect, that heifer hung up on me. read more

I'm appalled that my Rosary was pulled and broken, two of my Coach glasses were missing , my handicap placard and not to mention a 12 pack of mini Coke a Cola !!!! This Place is a JOKE. I traded in a vehicle that I purchased with a loan from these people. 3 days after that vehicle had been traded in, I was receiving multiple phone calls a day asking me why the dealer where I purchased my new car, had not sent them a payoff yet. They want me to call the new dealer on their behalf and get them information. SERIOUSLY!? Its called a ten day pay off for a reason. Stop harassing me, and learn to do your job! read more

So two years ago I bought my car my credit wasn't so great but I got a loan through sol acceptance.. during the entire time I've been with them I've had a couple times were I was more than 10 days late but most of the time I have always paid my car payment on time. Never have I been 30 days late. But if you do not make your payment by the second day that you did not make the payment they start to call you and harass you. When I try to make a payment to pay off my car the girl tried to tell me that I couldn't and it was like she was trying to avoid it like she didn't want me to pay my car off.She tried to tell me I had to make the months payment before I paid off my car which didn't make any sense because the interest rate was so high that if I made my month payment very little would go toward the principal. I explain to her I wanted to pay my car off and I did not wanna make the payment for the month on top of that. I feel she was upset because by doing so the amount of interest that they would obtain would be not as much. They make it very difficult when you want to pay your car off. I feel they want you to keep your loan i. For the full amount of time so that they can eventually get 2 to 3 times the amount of the original loan. I do not recommend them I do not recommend them to anybody. Just do yourself a favor make sure your credit is good don't ever have to go to a place like this read more

This is the worst financing command I have dealt with! I just bought a car a few days ago and have them references. What financing company makes a big deal about your references?! Then they keep calling because references don't call back. Geez! If this is the company I have to deal with for the next 4 years, i may have to re-think on keeping the car. I have dealt with a Toyota, Honda and Santander and they have never made a big deal about references to go through with a loan. DO NOT WORK with this company! Make sure u find out from the car dealership who is financing so that you make sure you don't get this finance company. read more

The Car payment is due on the 27th of each month, we had barely been 5 days late, and we had them blasting our phones every day. I finally picked up and it was Martha Villalobos, very unprofessional, unethical, and just unfriendly person to deal it. I kept asking her, if our phone call was being recorded as I was telling her that at the moment we couldn't make the full payment, but that I would be making it 4 days from now, and was willing to schedule that payment automatic as well as the next month's recurring payment and she kept saying, " we don't do that here" " Your payment was due on the 27th". I said you guys cant do that if I am willing to set up a payment arrangement to settle this debt, and she was admit about not wanting to take my bank information. I called back after and asked to speak with an account manager or supervisor and would be placed on hold, and hold and behold, I would be transferred back to her, who would say, she would be the manager. She stated, well you have until 4pm to call me or this account will be flagged. Awful person, seriously if you don't have the patience and courtesy to work with people who are trying to rebuild their credit, than don't do this job. Today, I received a phone call again from their office, it was Beatrice and she was willing to take my automatic payment as well as offered to send me a paper to change my payment date, should I need it. I briefly explained to her the awful experience I had with Martha on Friday and encouraged her, if she was allowed to review our phone conversation. she was apologetic although it wasn't her fault, but I told her I would not deal with Ms. Villalobos again in any future phone calls. read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!This company is the absolute WORST!! They lie about literally EVERYTHING. They don't give you receipts and when you ask for the balance and all receipts from payments that have already been made, they (CLAUDIA) WILL TELL YOU IT'S CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. When you tell them you are going to withhold payment until you get all receipts they completely screw you over!...BY LAW YOUR ENTITLED TO ALL PAYMENT RECEIPTS. If your smart you will NOT conduct any business with this company. They make verbal agreements to supposedly fix THEIR MISTAKE and then do the EXACT opposite of what they agreed on and gave you their word (Eden). Their word is complete trash and not valid at all. It's definitely a fraudulent company. Claudia should have been fired for what she did to me. She caused me a great deal of issues by REFUSING TO PROVIDE ME WITH MY PAYMENT RECEIPTS. CLAUDIA should have been fired for what she did. She caused me and my family a lot of stress and grief. She would never let me talk to anyone above her which was BS she just knew she was conducting some real shady activity. This company has no work ethics, morals, INTEGRITY and does not care about the customers at all. They are all Shady people. Oh and if you call they will answer as a completely different company...they have more than one company in the office (FRAUDULENT COMPANY). Oh and they used my kids to THREATEN me. Saying I will go to jail and my will kids go into the foster care system for withholding payment because CLAUDIA refused to give me my receipts which I was perfectly entitled to have from the beginning....This company is full of . Not to mention I had to an extra $400 to register the car with the DMV because it was never done when the car was purchased. read more

So, I'd like to take this time to make some comments. First off, the collections team is aggressive! But, I guess if you're in collections you gotta be, right? I mean they're getting paid to collect! However, there are a cpl people that could use some costumer service skills. Second, pay your car note people. If you can't afford the payment, why'd you get yourself in debt in the first place?! You asked for the loan, then you don't want to pay and feel you have the right to get upset because they're calling for their money? You owe them, they owe you nothing! You should be ashamed of yourself. Had you borrowed money from me, bet that I would be knocking at your door for my money! Third, my payments are made on time, most every month, because I'm responsible, AND I know how to budget my money. They're made on time, because I care about my name and my credit!! Regardless of the repairs I've had to pay on my car! So, I actually like Sol Acceptance. There's a cpl people who are really nice. PAY YOUR DUES and you won't hear a peep from this place. read more
