I have talked to other people who are customers in the waiting room and around the dealership when getting work done on my car or routine maintenance done. Dropped my car off to get an oil change and another issue addressed. They had it one full day, came back the next day and they said they had not diagnosed the issue. I needed the car back that day and the service writer said they'd close out the ticket just for the oil change. I say cool, I'll be back in under an hour to pick the car up. I'm in the Uber on the way back to get it and I get a text telling me a much higher new total than just the oil change. Service writer says he didn't get a chance to tell the technician not to diagnose the other issue so he diagnosed it immediately after I left magically, though I told them exactly what the issue was when I brought it in and they charged me an extra almost 300 dollars. I will never use this dishonest dealership again and will be following up with regional managers. read more

Paid $10,000.00 plus in repair/labor & my Cadillac was returned to me after a major oil leak repair and transmission replacement with the check engine light on still. That was the red flag. Sergio(Service Mgr.) said, "oh that's ok let me turn it off for you." My Cadillac ATS was not running right and I asked him to test drive with me -he did. We drove for 10-15 minutes and i pointed out the smell of burning oil still he said, "It's probably residual left over from the leak." My response was, "your mechanics did not clean it to make sure the leak is fully not back? How did he know?" Now not even 2 months later the same leak is back and apparent. Car smells still and I bought it back to fix per the warranty of the recent repair for the oil leak. I was told, "This is a different oil leak and we can give you a good price on the repair and we will give you a loaner you do not have to worry about renting another car." "This is not what I expect from Cadillac - this is why I bring my car to the dealer, you guys misdiagnosed the leak and you guys need to repair my leak please, it is the same leak ." was my response. He declined to even work something out with me. I also asked why his Master mechanic would have released my car in the first place with the check engine light on ? He did not have an answer. I asked for corporate number please to complain - "nobody knows it "I was told by Sergio and by Cruz. I will continue to address this issue as best I can and I am saddened because I love my Cadillac and was planning on buying a second one for my wife. I had a terrible experience online when I reached our to simply get a price for a new Cadillac Vistiq. The sales person that provided the terrible level of service was Kamyar Amirsoleimani. He kept beating around the bush and didn't give a single price. Kept asking for me to come in to dealer. I asked if there was another sales person that can help with simply providing a price and was told that he had more important customers at the dealer than to deal with me. I've leased more than 10 cars so far from various different dealers and have never experienced such terrible service. I recently took my truck to this dealership for a recall service, and I left feeling extremely disappointed and uncomfortable. When I arrived, the gentleman at the service desk treated me with a lack of respect and professionalism that I couldn't help but notice was different from how he interacted with other customers. Instead of being helpful or courteous, his tone was dismissive and his attitude made me feel like I wasn't welcome there. Internet salesman Nicholas texted back inviting me to test drive, said "we can make it work - I've never lost a deal." Reached out about a Lyriq in stock. Got prompt reply and asked if they could confirm a couple of variable related to lease (incentives and money factor). I got a reply stating that they could not supply any numbers or confirm incentives unless the customer is in the store. I have leased no less than 6 vehicles through GMF and never had this experience before, always sent my qualifying docs, codes, etc. in ahead of time, because who in their right mind would want to spend more time at a car dealer. I replied that I would be coming with my family of 5 including 3 children under 5 from over an hour away, so if there was any way to confirm beforehand it would be appreciated. I was told the request was being sent on to a sales manager and I would hear back 'shortly'. Roughly 24 hours later I replied asking about any updates as I had never heard back, only to receive a reply that the vehicle had been sold. The only true reason that a dealer would not be transparent around numbers from the start is so they can lure you in, exhaust you, beat you down over aftermarket adds, and make more money off of you. Of course, as soon as I looked up their yelp, I see multiple reviews mentioning this lack of transparency and sketchy practices. AVOID at all costs. However, when the contract stipulated the check will be presented to you within 4 business day (they do not count the mid-day you signed as the first day), had to ask for the check many times when able to pick up the check and got the check on 5th business day at closing. The check was supposed at reception waiting, when I was there, the receptionist had no idea, had to ask around for it. Not very respectful to the client. I had been a long time customer at Cadillac of Laguna Niguel as I live a couple of miles from that location, but in the past couple of years, the service department and overall dealership just has gone down hill... and I mean really down hill. The caring @ the Laguna location was gone, the penny pinching became tighter and it just lost the luster of what a Cadillac dealership/shop, one would expect. At the Laguna location, money and rules became first, we the customers, became last. So I decided to make the 25 min track to Costa Mesa Cadillac. I have had 7 Cadillacs, and never had I experienced service like I have at the Costa Mesa store. Mark Anderson in the Svs department is by far the most outstanding service person I have EVER dealt with. Goes above and beyond. Makes the long trips worth it, even for a simple oil change, I dont care, I am now officially locked in a Costa Mesa. *NOTE: When you do need a loaner, the Costa Mesa location DOES NOT have a maximum of 50 miles per day on their loaners/rentals. Laguna does, and it bothered me when I had meetings in LA or San Diego. One time Laguna needed my car for a week, and I had meetings all over. I asked them for some grace, and they replies 'NOPE, sorry'. Again, Ask for Mark Anderson when you need impeccable service. I mean it, the guy is just awesome. This dealership is absolutely terrible from sale to service. I've bought 3 Cadillacs over the years and my last purchase was here for my Escalade. They sold "full coverage service packages" that were nothing more than extended warranties and blatantly lied about it only finding out when I took the car in for what I though should be a basic covered item (front blinker lamp not working and still not, after also misdiagnosing) that it wouldn't be covered. Leading me to contact them only to have their finance manager confirm these were nothing more than extended warranties which I explicitly asked NOT to have added to finance contract if so. They added over 17k worth of this BS pseudo "service contract coverage" causing me additional interest. Upon attempting to get it all resolved I got vague 1 line responses and basically blown off. I would personally recommend going to Mission Viejo, or any other Cadillac dealership over this one, they're terrible. We asked them if we could test drive the car to see if we liked it in comparison to a BMW M3 and they said we could. We drove 1.5 hours to get to the dealer and they told us we couldn't test drive the car unless they ran our credit first. How ridiculous is that! They very clearly profiled us and discriminated against us when we walked in. Sad part was that we were ready to buy the car that same day in CASH! Discriminatory clowns to say the least. I would avoid them at all costs. We drove away and took our business to a different Cadillac dealer. I suggest you do the same. I contacted them to close the deal but they didn't honor the price and said it was a mistake, then requoted me for $803 with tax (see photo). 1 Star - Very Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience We had an extremely frustrating experience at GMC Costa Mesa. Two weeks ago, we visited to purchase a Hummer through our business and worked with a sales representative named Gilbert. Initially, we were told that my husband was approved personally, but they were having trouble getting the business financing finalized. That night, they pushed us to sign under my husband's name and "fix it later" with the business, something we were uncomfortable with, so we declined. The next day, we were told the business was denied, odd, but fine. We chose to hold off. Later, Gilbert reached out again to ask if we were still interested. We assumed the vehicle was still available and asked if there was room to adjust the monthly payment. Gilbert then claimed they never ran my husband's credit, which is simply not true. We saw the inquiry on his credit report. Despite us clearly saying not to run it again, Gilbert ran it a second time,five days later, without permission. Even more concerning: he texted us a photo of my husband's application saying the bank couldn't find him using his Social Security number, which is clearly inaccurate given the existing credit report. At this point, we asked to speak with a manager to get clarity and understand why his credit was run twice without authorization. No manager ever returned a single call. It's been complete radio silence. This dealership is disorganized, shady, and does not respect customer consent or communication. Be extremely cautious, especially when it comes to your credit. We will not be returning and do not recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I am so disappointed in Coast Mesa Cadillac, purchased a certified 2021 XT5 Sport in the beginning of October 2024. The vehicle still had to go through recon, so I was going to pick it up the following Saturday. When I picked it up, it was still kinda of dirty in the inside, the detail job was pretty bad. After I left, noticed that there was a very long scratch on the passenger side (had to be in the right light to really see it), looked like someone had tried to buff it out, looks crappy, immediately texted my sales person pictures and let him know about it. His response was subpar. Few days later, received a message from someone in service wanting to know what they could do to to "make this correct", emailed the pictures, never heard back. I also emailed the GM the issues that I had, once again, never responded! Filled out the Cadillac survey, with exactly what happened, next day, received a generic email that you cannot reply to. Called the dealership to get the email of the person whose name was on the email, forwarded the email that I had sent to the GM, still no response! Leased a Cadillac Lyric Sport 2 in May 2025. The sales experience went great. Today I needed service as the car started hard breaking in the middle of rush hour traffic. One of the reasons I leased a premium car was due to the premium service, loaners, pick up, and so on. Today when I reached out, I am having issues getting the car in in a timely manner, and am now being told they no longer do loaner vehicles and I would be sent over to their enterprise partnership. This is honestly not what I signed up for and purchased. While i don't like the offerings being downgraded in such a short seven month widow. More importantly, the car is not safe to drive and i need to get it in asap and serviced asap. Single parent of a 1 year old and just can not be without the car. I have left multiple messages with the sales manager to see if there is any help they can offer. I am currently in very bad situation without a reliable car. Was so happy to buy a car from Nick Torres at Costa Mesa Cadillac. I was in the market for a used Cadillac and wanted one with as many safety features as I could find. The model I thought I wanted didn't automatically come with all the features I wanted, so finding one was hard. I'd been looking and shopping several dealers in S. CA for months. Nick found the same model but the Sport version, which had everything I wanted and more. He took the time to do my shopping for me, without being asked. He called me to tell me about the car and every feature it had. In other words, he did my shopping for me, much more efficiently and quickly, and it was perfect! GREAT SERVICE! I left the dealership and checked their inventory online a week later and saw that they still had the Escalade listed for the price without the options. I decided to inquire via email and they would not provide me with a transparent pricing sheet. Getting an out the door price was like pulling teeth and when they finally provided one, they claimed to remove some of the options but refused to provide me with the detail. LONG STORY SHORT STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCUMBAGS!! IF YOU WANT THE LONG STORY READ ON... I called 2 hours before arriving to this dealership about a CT5 V Blackwing I saw listed online. I asked if I could test drive the car when I arrive as it would be about 2 hours before closing. I was told I could certainly test drive it as long as I'm a serious buyer (which I am since I was willing to drive 1.5 hours to see this car) and have to give my drivers license. The car that I wanted had a dead battery and was absolutely filthy!! A dead battery? How is this even a thing? So the sales guy takes me upstairs to see the car. I asked for him to open the door and he couldn't get it open with the key fob since the battery was dead so he removed the driver side door handle cap to open the doors manually.... He drops the cap on the ground instantly damaging the plastic and still couldn't open the door for some off reason. Apparently he "tried to jumpstart the car" 5 mins before taking me upstairs. How did he attempt a jumpstart and now you're not able to open the door... straight up lied to my face. Despite him not getting someone else to open the door or dropping the door handle plastic and damaging it. I was still interested in getting this car. I asked to test drive the other Blackwing on the lot, as long as I like the driving feel I was ready to make a deal for the non operating Blackwing and would wait a few days to pick it up when it was detailed and had a fresh battery. He then proceeded to tell me he needs to "run my credit" for me to test drive the car. I have never been to a more dishonest, discriminating, and unprofessional dealership in my life. I have had my fair share of new vehicles in the high price range and have never been asked to run my credit to test drive a car. What if I don't like the drive, you're telling me I'll take a hit on my credit report for a 2 minute test drive? This dealership has nasty business practices and they try to sucker you into a deal by running your credit first so now you got no choice but to get the car. Ridiculous and disgusting. I waisted 3.5 hours of my time going there and coming back home. I was with 2 of my close friends and we were definitely racially profiled. We have beards and this asshole sales dick was intimidated according to another sales guy. Surprised this place even has a 3.3 star rating here, all the other 1 star reviews are very valid.
