Very happy I found Jose and his shop. Had a minor lowside and the handlebars and shifter on my bike were bent. Jose did a crash inspection of the bike and told me that my bike was pretty much good to go, even went so far as to readjust the handlebars and shifter to make it rideable again, and he testrode it himself to make sure everything was solid. He pretty much fixed my bike for free, and didnt try to upcharge me or sell me on anything that was unnecessary. I have left my bike sitting for awhile and wasn't really sure where to take it since some of the shops I had been going to really seem to not be very thorough as of late. I've had random wires not reconnected tires put on in the wrong direction, plastic bolts missing and so on. So i was nervous coming to a new shop but Jose really puts in the effort, its clear he cares about taking care of his customers bikes, he had my bike for longer than I had intended but I kept asking him to do more work on it. It went in for some repairs as well as adding more modifications and some of those modifications took a bit more work than I thought it would. He kept me in the loop the entire time including sending me photos to update me. I plan on having my bike back at his shop soon for even more work some fun add ons as well as more required maintenance and i know itll be worth it. read more

Had my used 2015 Honda pcx150 since 2017. I put 22,000 mi on it and Jose with all his experience gave it a look over and I initially had maintenance and a look at the valves. The valves looked great. I need some other work done from some damage another mechanic created. But I think I've found my lifetime scooter mechanic. He was so helpful in understanding the regular maintenance schedule and he printed out diagrams and other things to help me understand my ride better. Jose is a just a down to earth guy. I typically don't leave reviews but because the service I received from GP Motomax exceeded my expectations, I felt obligated to give GP MotoMax an honest review along with five stars. I crashed my Yamaha R1 at the track and decided to go with GP Motomax for my repairs based on reviews as well as support local business owners. I truly appreciated Jose's communication efforts. He consistently updated me on the progress of my bike and the status of any incoming OEM parts that he may be waiting for. Not once did I ever call him asking for an update because I always knew what the status was on my bike (Patience is key and you never want to rush your mechanic anyway). Fortunately, Jose fixed my bike in about a month which was a lot sooner than I expected. Please note that I highsided at the track and the bike was in pretty bad shape. As mentioned in other reviews, his prices are very reasonable and he always confirms with you before he purchases any parts. I paid out-of-pocket for my repairs so I wanted to save money whenever I could. I met Jose once which was when I picked up my bike and I chatted with him a lot longer than expected because he is such a nice person and very knowledgeable about motorcycles. GP motomax first handled my motorcycle after an accident 2019. He worked with my insurance adjuster, ordered and replaced all OEM Harley parts. He changed my handlebars for me while he was reassembling my bike. Since then, he has done all my oil changes, replaced 21"front tire and rear tires at different times, replaced my brake pads and various upgrades to my bike. I bought a 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 and was coming up on a major service around 10k miles. I called a couple shops in Orange County to see if they could help service my bike and all I got was a bunch of laughs and responses like - "Good luck buddy it will be MONTHS." Thank God I found Jose and GP Motomax. After speaking with Jose on the phone, he told me it would be a week before he finished his previous project and then swing by and he would take a look. Jose inspected my bike and made recommendations on things I should get done, also things I thought I needed but did not. He told me the prices straight up, showed me everything on the bill even when I didn't ask just to prove he was being transparent and then took the payment and got to work. Jose stayed in touch the entire time, sent me pictures of the parts he removed to show me the quality and shape they were in and then the installed new parts. He gave me a time frame of two weeks and finished earlier then projected. Once in the shop, he showed me a couple ways I could tune my motorcycle to make it run even better. I am very thankful to have found Jose. It is very hard to find an honest guy who communicates with you and works with you.
