It honestly felt like I was being pushed into a completely unnecessary and extremely expensive repair. I brought my car in because the A/C wasn't working and paid $350 for a diagnostic. I was then told by the service advisor that the evaporator to the A/C unit needed to be replaced for $7,000, largely due to labor. That didn't sit right with me, so I got a second opinion at another dealership. They found the issue was simply low refrigerant (Freon). Total cost? About $250, including the diagnostic and refill. That's not a small difference--that's a massive gap between what was recommended and what was actually needed. Experiences like this seriously damage trust and raise questions about how recommendations are being made at House of Imports Mercedes-Benz. I strongly urge anyone coming here to get a second opinion before agreeing to major repairs. Based on my experience, the initial recommendation was unnecessary, and I won't be returning. I'll also be advising friends and family to be cautious.

A couple of years ago, prices for regular maintenance begin to SKYROCKET to the point where it made no sense for me to do my regular maintenance at the shop any more. I was a little frustrated because Miller's didn't just feel like MY MECHANIC but MY FRIEND until the prices begin to feel like I was being taken advantage of or that my business wasn't appreciated any more. I'm a rideshare driver and I was getting 8-10 oil changes a year at the shop. It didn't make sense for me to give Wendy my business any more for regular maintenance. I understood the philosophy. I was "just an oil change" and really more of a hassle for a shop but what the old shop manager maybe failed to understand was that it wasn't just a car he was maintaining: the shop was maintaining the ease and comfort I had giving my hard earned money to them. The new shop owner, DERRICK has given the shop a 180 degree TURN!!! I LOOK FORWARD to getting my maintenance done and I have watched the results pay for themselves. I drive a 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid and when I account for the cost of gas, tire wear, oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, and HYBRID BATTERY MAINTENANCE my car costs me about $0.12 a mile to operate. Since I've returned to regular maintenance at Miller's I've put over 20,000 miles on my car and have seen my MPG climb 3.5-4 MPG which has saved me nearly $140/month!!!! I will save nearly $1700 (if gas prices remain the same) after one year by returning to Miller's for my service. It's money in the bank in a time when it's hard to keep money in the bank but most importantly Derrick has rekindled a business friendship I can depend on and HIGHLY RECCOMMEND. I spent $200 total for 2 new covers for my front 2 seats and am very impressed. This includes a 3 year fading and seam separation warranty. They can't cover rips in the material but those are usually the owners fault. These seat covers are thick and seem very sturdy. However they can even repair customer made rips. My old leather seats were cracked and ripped. Rather than spending $500 on getting them redone I came to J&E and got pleather! They got me a color almost exactly the same as my current seats and installed them within 40 min. They are thick quality covers not like the junk the auto parts stores amd Amazon sells. They also don't slide around and look sloppy like other covers. They also do full custom covers for a little more but I am quite impressed with the standard high quality covers they installed for me. Go see Jorge and Edith and get some covers for your old seats.
