Peter and Joey are legit solid dudes that have always been helpful. I broke down a couple miles away from IMZZ on Christmas Day. I got in contact with Joey and told him what was going on. He was out of town and my bike was still somewhat drive able. So he said that the shop was closed on Christmas but if I could manage to get it down there, he would have someone come down and open the gates for me and roll it into the shop so that it wasn't sitting out front. After waiting almost 6 months for my FXRT fairing, the paint is done badly and doesn't match the factory paint, the main mount holes are miss-clocked and the fairing isnt even close to being properly trimed to fit the inverted forks so I have to do fiberglass repairs and repaint this entire thing. As promised, I I said, win or lose I would post the results of our lawsuit against IMZZ in Orange county municipal courts. For a second time in front of the judge IMzz was told to return the money they stole. I provided a long list of complaints BAR ; The Bureau of Automotive Repair has on file, to the courts. BAR was kind enough to also provide their current ongoing investigations and complaints involving IMZZ. Their custom parts are truly on a whole other level. I've ordered several parts for my 2021 Low Rider S (GPR stabilizer, sissy bar kit, and ARP bolts) and they did not disappoint! Received my items with not much wait time. However, I had an issue with a return for the 5.75" headlamp. The issue is they still haven't gotten back to me and it's been about two months! Considering how much money I've spent I hoped that would incentivize them to at least get back to me on the matter. Ordered a fairing here in October of last year. They took my money and then I was not given an update and unable to contact them by any platform for 4 months. Finally I put in a PayPal dispute and they responded that they would ship the fairing right away. They then shipped me a fairing with an entire gouge of material taken out of the corner and cracking and peeling paint. I had to pay to ship it back to them and then wait another month for a refund. in the end I spent $270 to get jerked around and ripped off by them. Please don't do the same. Buyer Beware I'd been debating getting on here to write a review for some time now. I'm not usually one to review things specifically not when I have poor things to say about a business however after close to 9 months of trying to deal with them I'm pretty much over it. For those that don't care to read, this has basically hands down been my worst retail experience of my life. July 20th of 2020 I'd pulled the trigger on ordering a t-sport fairing from Imzz. I'd spoken to them over Instagram and given them a call about the product which they were very helpful about and I was confident I was getting the best fairing for me. I was told I should expect around 30 days and I'd have the fairing shipped out. I could live with that. 30 days eventually went by and I began calling and emailing but was unable to get through and was not receiving any responses to my emails. Finally I was able to get ahold of someone over Instagram and they got all upset that I was being impatient and if I wanted good parts I needed to wait and basically talked crap about their competition which coincidentally they now sell as well. Anyway, I was at this point told they take 90 days and that I needed to be patient. As pissed off as I was I got over it and waited it out because I understand manufacturing is a little more difficult than normal and I am supposed to be getting a pretty quality product. 90 days goes by and at this point I'm basically checking my porch daily because I expect my fairing should be showing up anytime now. As the days continue to pass I eventually start emailing, calling, and messaging via Instagram and now they just ignore me altogether. This has been going on since and I am now at just shy of 9 months since I'd originally ordered my fairing and I still have heard nothing in response as to when I should be receiving. I've emailed them at least a dozen times, I've called daily with no answer, and I've sent messages over Instagram which they just ignore. The worst part is the Instagram messages have read receipts on them so I know when they read them but they still just chose to ignore. From a customer perspective these guys have the absolute worst communication I've received from any company I've dealt with and when they do talk to you they're just gonna feed you a bunch of BS to shut you up. If you're considering spending your money here I'd think long and hard about it because there's a good chance you may never receive what you'd ordered. In hindsight I'd wished I would have bothered to read some reviews before ordering because all of the writing is on the wall. This is clearly an ongoing issue they've had for some time and It seems once they have your money they could care less. Heck even when reading reviews on the better business bureau page you can see the owner just gets on there and tells all his customers they are pathetic for complaining about not receiving what they'd ordered. I decided to order a t sport fairing from these guys back on September 30 2020 in store. Paid cash and was told 45-60 days. After almost 90 days I attempted to contact them for an updated ETA, as I'm sure they're slammed, via email, phone, and Instagram direct message with no luck on reply. I waited a few weeks, figuring it was around Christmas time, to try to contact them again and still no luck. I posted a comment under a recent post on Instagram asking to check email and dm and to please reply, only to find that they had deleted my comment. I decided to take a little trip to the shop and the woman was unable to help me since Jim was unavailable. She said she'd email me later that day as soon as he got in with an updated ETA. Of course, no update... at this point I've sent 2 emails, 2 DMs, and one comment which was deleted, which lead me to worry I was getting ripped off. I checked their Yelp reviews (which I should've done prior to ordering) and knew at this point i made a mistake and something fishy was going on with this shop...They made a post on Instagram on Jan 5 2021 so I figured Id try to comment again to hopefully grab their attention. This time I screen shot my post in case they deleted my comment again, which they did! At that point I knew I had to go down there and either get a fairing or my money back. Upon arrival I was greeted by some cocksucker named Jim. He gave me nothing but attitude when I asked nicely about an update on my order. Told me he had no idea when my fairing was going to be in and that I'm in a long line of back orders. I asked for my money back and his first reply was he doesn't give refunds because my fairing is made to order. When I replied that he should have no problem selling my fairing since he's so backed up on orders, he began cussing at me... I don't mind profanity, I use it all the time. But it was the condescending tone he used that pissed me off.. He went into his office and yelled to the lady to get me my cash and to get me the fuck out of here... fortunately he refunded me, but unfortunately he lost my business and respect. If you want to get dicked around and treated like shit go ahead and shop with these guys. If you want to do business with people who purposely ignore your emails and delete your comments (because they can't look bad on IG) when attempting to collect on a product your prepaid for, then Imzz is the place. They make good product from the looks of it while I was shopping and visiting the shop, but if you want to skip the BS and asshole shopkeep then get your fairing elsewhere! I immediately contacted JD customs once I was refunded and they shipped my fairing out the next day. Was hoping I wouldn't have to write a negative review on this place, but time's up... Here's my side of the story: Purchased FXRT Audio lowers from IMZZ back in May 18.' Drove down from the bay to pick them up. Met Jim Iams and his ego. FX lowers seemed legit, sturdy, strong fiber glass, etc. After getting my existing FXRT fairing and the lowers painted, I jumped into the project around mid-late June 18' only to discover the audio holes were way too large to accommodate a standard 6.5" speaker. Mind you, they state the speaker holes will fit "any manufacturers 6.5″ speakers" on their website. Well, they indeed did not fit my Polk Audio speakers. Wrote a lengthy email to IMZZ describing the issue with pics and requesting they make me some new lowers. Received a follow up call from Jim the next day. He initially pitted his speaker-hole size against my speaker, which was somewhat laughable, stating he has "never heard of Polk Audio..." Keep in mind, both holes were different sizes. One of them cut in a semi-oval shape and both near, or exceeding 6" in diameter. An obvious hack job by whoever cut these holes. I even asked Jim if they use a template when they cut the holes and he diverted from the question. He did offer to reface the lowers with new fiber glass and cut 5" holes, (which every 6.5" speakers requires), then re paint and send back to me. I didn't see how this "re fiber glassing" job would actually pan out, and at this point, I don't think it did. But, I sent the lowers the following week anyway. After arrival to the IMZ shop, they were damaged/dinged during shipping and I was notified via email. IMZZ offered to repaint/repair them for $150 to which I agreed. Followed up with them on the second, third, forth, fifth and sixth week the lowers were at their shop. I was told twice the lowers were in the painting process and would be shipped out by "the end of the week." They never came and never heard anything from them. I followed up the next two weeks with several phone calls-- unanswered, and two emails with no response. Finally, I had to make that claim with my bank... Seems to me my case was tossed aside because I didn't actually want to throw anymore money at them. I only wanted my hack-job parts back..lol Still, no excuse to ghost your customers. They claim to be a legit shop with a strong loyal customer base, which is great, but I became skeptic after reading a few other one star reviews with similar "ghosting" experiences. Seems they've accumulated an equal amount of PO'd customers... and no, this review is not fake. In closing, I'm out around $160 for the paint job I had done on these lowers before discovering the hack job on the holes; $40 in shipping them back; a few hours out my way driving to pick them up on the way back from SD in May 18'; three months (and counting) of delay on this bike project; a sh*t load of email-typing #arthritisfingers; hella minutes on phone with them, there answering machine, and my bank (Thank God for USAA and them backing me every time when/if this bs happens). I placed an order with IMZZ Elite for an IMZZ Elite Signature Sissy Bar Kit on May 26, 2021 (Order #7773) after being told in an email on May 24, 2021, "Depending on the application, they are usually readily in stock. There may be a delay if we have some at powdercoat but it wouldn't be more than 2 weeks." when I had inquired how long it would take to receive the sissy bar, if ordered. On June 23, 2021, I sent an email asking about the status of my order, to which there was no response. I opened a case with PayPal and sent in evidence of my order and the above referenced emails. I emailed IMZZ Elite on July 13, 2021 asking about the order and the open case with PayPayl. IMZZ responded on July 14, 2021 with the following: "Hello, unfortunately processes are taking longer these days than normal, not just in this industry but commercially, worldwide. We are awaiting our sissy bar hoops to return from powdercoating. We only have a couple of staff members and not enough to keep our phones occupied. We spend our time building parts and processing orders. We've had emails back and forth quite a few times so I disagree with your statement that you've had no contact with anyone here. Your order is still being processed and it will ship as soon as it is ready." There were no emails back and forth with IMZZ regarding the sissy bar order other than those already mentioned. However, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I let the PayPal case close. There has been no further communication from IMZZ Elite whatsoever even though I requested a refund of my $236.87 in three separate emails to them on September 16 and December 27, 2021 and on January 7, 2022. I opened a case with the Better Business Bureau as well but they were unable to obtain a response from IMZZ Elite. So, I'm out $236.87. Avoid this company. Their customer service is terrible.
