I live in Long Beach and ride to his shop for anything i need. There have been several jobs that I've needed done ASAP because my bike is main transport, Jim stays in touch with me about what is going on and depending on job, i usually see my bike back within a couple days. What I will say is that Jim handled it completely professionally and was extremely courteous to me. We spoke about the reasons it was written, why exactly, and ways he could make the experience better for myself and others that felt like the service was not up to snuff. I have done business with Imzz elite once, it went slightly bumpy, but satisfied at the end. IMZZ is the best shop in the socal area. Jim is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to anything Harley. I had my dyna completely built at IMZZ, and let me tell you. They did an AMAZING job on my bike. True pride in craftsmanship and pride in their work. My bike came out flawless. I had everything chrome on my bike (including my wheels) powder coated gloss black. It all came out like a mirror. Beautiful. I also had them instal a chain drive conversion on my dyna. Works great and gave me great torque. My bike rips now. I have been doing Business with Jim at IMZZ Elite for 3 years or so. My experience has been nothing but great. Jim has gone out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. Not only has he given me some great advice, he has always made sure that I am not getting something I don't need and at times has been generous where he really didn't need to be. Some of the review here are laughable. I recall a time when I couldn't get my fuel guages to register after a fuel pump/tin swap. I sent him a quick video and within minutes my phone rang and he told me how to correct the problem. I went in there looking at seats I was impressed with the seat he had to offer and the great design and comfort of it. I ended up getting more things done to the bike since he was so helpful and knowledgeable and he took the time to show me stuff and tell me why the seat and bars are the way there built. They know what there doing down there. Imzz dive bars are really awesome and very comfortable and the craftsman ship of the bars and the other fabrication of parts are top notch. I was told a time frame of when I would get the bike back from getting a few things installed on it And I got it back in the time he said it would take. I ordered the rear fender with the taillight and wiring board for my streetbob. I understood there was a 90 lead time and after about 90 days i got a shipping notification. For three weeks it has just said label created, and after multiple emails, phone calls, and reaching out to them on social media i have gotten no response. Dont spend your money here, apparently this is a normal thing they do. Shitty customer service and a bunch of swindlers. Im in the process of going through my card company to get my money back. Don't even bother ordering their custom stuff unless you want to get robbed. I ordered $1500 in parts for my bike including their t sport fairing, saddle man seat, and crash bar. It's been 7 months and haven't received the fairing and haven't gotten any replies to my emails or instagram dms. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! I went to this shop on July 7, 2017 with my brand new 2017 Road Glide to get an oil change, new handlebars, and a new exhaust. Paid up front on my credit card just under 3k and was told by Jim Iams I would have the bike in two weeks at most a month. Mind you, I have called around to several different Harley dealerships and several other motorcycle shops and was told it should have been done in less than a week. One month went by and I heard nothing from Jim Iams or anyone at Imzz Elite. I called 4 times in July with no answer and you aren't even able to leave a message because his answering machine is full. I called for the 5th time and was surprised because Jim Iams sounded annoyed and hurried me off the phone and told me my motorcycle would be ready in a week. I messaged them on instagram a week later to let them know I wanted to purchase a new seat as well and of course they responded quickly because he was going to get more money. Paid for the seat at $450 and then didn't hear from them for another month. I would exchange messages over there instagram and would continually get the same run around. "Your bike will be ready in a week." Another week goes by and of course.... NOTHING End of August and beginning of September, I physically went to the shop 4 times to be locked out every time and told no one is at the shop or shop is closed for the day. Jim came out one time only because he had other customers at his shop but when he came out, he locked the front door behind him and would not let me see my motorcycle. RED FLAG IMMEDIATELY! I went one final time in September and went to his side rollup door to see his people working in the back. I thought this was great because I would get to see my motorcycle and see what is going on. NO! AS SOON AS I WENT TO FRONT DOOR AND RANG THE BELL, I HEARD THE ROLL UP GATE CLOSE! I stayed out front for three hours and called Orange Police Dept. As I waited next to the shop, Jim the decided to message me and say they shop was closed for the day even though I saw his people in the back working. I messaged him back and said I wanted my bike and refused his services to which he replied "you don't call the shots around here bud." Police came, and told me they have had this same thing happen 4 times in the past few months. Before I left from chatting with the police, another person pulled up looking for there bike and said its been 6 months and they have heard nothing! Police gave good contacts to me. I called my credit card company and filed a fraud report and got my money back within days and was told there was an investigation going on into the Jim and IMZZ Elite. I filed a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and was contacted immediately due to the number of people getting scammed and screwed over by Jim Iams. Then they put me in contact with the CA STATE BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR and they then contacted me immediately due to the high volume of complains coming in from this business screwing people out of thousands of dollars. The state and BBB absolutely want to shut IMZZ ELITE down. So during this time, my friend had been calling Jim and asking what was going on because he had his motorcycle worked on as well at the shop month before my encounter. All the conversations were recorded and Jim kept giving the same bullshit excuse. What Jim Iams didn't know is one of his shop workers had been feeding us information and told me Jim Iams had been riding my motorcycle around for pleasure! I had 538 miles on it. Terrible person. Once my credit card company pulled the funds back form his account Jim didn't like it and called my buddy. Mind you, this conversation was recorded. Jim stated "He f#*@ me over, he f#*@ me over. That was a full NI*#ER MOVE. That was a full NI*#ER MOVE." When I heard this I couldn't believe it. I paid this guy thousands of dollars to do simple work on my new Road Glide and he decides to use racial expletives. My mother is African American and my father is white. I was absolutely offended. Im kicking myself because i dropped my new motorcycle off to a scamming thief and racist. It's now 11/21/2017 I have yet to see my motorcycle or hear anything from the Jim Iams. 5 months! This man will scam and take money from you and your property. OH!! one more fun fact! Jim Iams is holding a 67 Camaro from a firefighter I met in LA. This man paid Jim 14K and has yet to see his car. ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND A HALF!!! He won't be let into the shop, phone calls aren't answered, and Jim refuses to give the man his property back. Let that sink in for a bit. Don't believe the fake reviews. This place has the best customer service. I have used Imzz for many years. I have purchased tires, batteries, brake jobs, alignments, a water pump etc. Always amazing work for a fair price. A friend of mine had them customize a car for her and her husband. The custom paint came out amazing along with all the added bells and whistles. One of a kind!! They are on their game and very easy to work with. I give them a 5 Star and would highly recommend. Hate to leave a bad rating for a small business but at this point i regret spending money with them. Placed an order over three months ago. After about a month i asked them for an update and they told me fenders take about 60 days. They told me my fender was getting painted that week. Bummed but whatever. Waited until day 90 because the website has a range. After day 90 i again emailed ( three times) and dm'd them on Instagram over the span of a week requesting an update. As they update their posts on instagram, they ignore my requests. Comment on their post to finally get a response saying the replied via email- which they had not. At this point it was just a waste of time and I can't even get ahold of them to request a refund. Worse than an instagram scammer. I know they have decent products and some tough stuff going on, but maybe just don't take people's money if you don't intend to fill the order. read more

Purchased a T sport fairing JULY 11th, it is now OCTOBER 16th. 14 weeks. Between August and now I had sent a DM on Instagram asking about progress. Was met with a very sarcastic response. I send a email to sales@imzzzelite.com. Nothing. Dm again. Nothing. Call nothing. Eventually Facebook message them. Got a response they take 8-10 weeks to make. This was at the time 10 weeks. Two more weeks go by. Message on FB again. No response. Message on FB AGAIN that I'm worried. They said don't worry my fairing is next. Come October 14th. Send an email to imzzelite@gmail (note different email) was met with hostility that I didn't have a order number. Explained I never was given one and certainly the tab on my browser was long gone from July 11th. Explained the only email I got was a PayPal receipt email, no order number. EVEN INCLUDED A SCREEN SHOT. Still met with "you should of seen your order number". Realizing they are diverting from THE MAIN ISSUE that it's been 14 WEEKS with half ass communication of what's going on with my $800 fairing. All of a sudden now I was told mine was confused with another vivid black fairing cause they make so many. End of rant. I bought this fairing to utilize for my October 18th 1000 mile trip. Now I'm stuck with no fairing and them scolding me for not having a order number as if it would of helped?! I don't want this fairing anymore after their attitude. Checked with three other websites, all had the Dago bars on backorder, IMZZ did not. So I ordered through them, got a purchase confirmation email, then... nothing. Emailed them after a few weeks, no response. Emailed them again, and was told that they hadn't come in yet. Two ot three emails later, no aditional responses. Called the business directly, was told they would be in and shipped out that same day. A week later, nothing. Called again and was told that orders get delayed because he has to stop working to answer the phone calls of people checking their orders. All in all it took over two months to get the bars they said they had in stock, and customer service was awful. Then when I got the bars, they weren't dimpled for control wires, so now I have that issue to deal with. First and last experience with them. read more

I wanted some custom work done on my Harley and from looking at various sites and photos I decided to go with Imzz because of the nice work it looked like they do. Big mistake on my part, they destroyed my bike! I wanted a new inner fairing on my 2013 Street Glide and by looking at their Instagram I saw that they had some custom pieces, that they supposedly built themselves, that looked nice. Long story short, they lied about their work and were ripping off other peoples picture. They had no clue how or where to obtain the fairing in the picture so they threw on something that they thought looked similar. There were gaps in the seams and they messed something up with the electrical system so the stereo blows fuses all the time and my gages become unresponsive and die out. After confronting them about the seams not lining up, as soon as I saw the bike when picking up, they blamed it on a miss ordered seal and to come back in a week to replace it. I went back to get it fixed and to complain about the electrical only to get the run around and was told that I must of did something afterwards. They denied saying they would fix the seal around the fairing and told me there was nothing they can do unless I was willing to pay them to fix it. Since then they have blocked my phone so I can't even call them. They are not honest and the work they do is not good! After doing research it turns out that most of what they claim is their work, is ripped off of other sites!!! UPDATE---- I provided my recipes since they swore they would make things right. They lied of course. Bunch of scam artists there. They kept asking me to take down my review but I said not till it's fixed. After they realized that I was right they ignored my calls. read more
