I'd a problem with the clutch and I took the bike there, he quoted me about 600 dlls which is cheap, to my surprise before he ordered the parts, he called me and said that there wasn't anything wrong with the bike, he rode it and couldn't find a problem! That itself speaks more than i can write or say... You've a customer for life, and will be sure that my friends and family knows about you! And also he didn't charge me a penny! I've had to take bike my bike 3 times to them because it kept doing the same thing after 10 minutes of riding so I sort of gave up and bike sat for few months. One day I've decided to give another shop a shot and found Gp Motomax. I can say that I was very pleased they got my bike back on road. The problem being the fuel pump which they suspect upon inspection so they ordered a oem pump which took a while but once they got it they've installed it so fast. What they suspect happened was they just replaced the motor of fuel pump and called it day so by replacing the whole pump properly bike was great again. The crazy part is that total of parts and labor ended up cheaper than what I paid at Motorhelmet. Will definitely come back for more service to get my bike to top tip. They are honest hard working people with very very reasonable price and great communications which is super rare nowadays. I would hate keep this so they won't get too busy but I highly recommend them!

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after what happened, I feel obligated to warn other…read moreriders. I brought my Dyna in and spent around $1,000 to prepare it for a long trip. Blessed to not have been severely injured or to have lost my life. The work included new spokes, truing the wheel, based on the recommendation of the manager, Jared replacing the wheel bearings and spacers, which he also worked on. Less than 10 miles after getting the bike home, an oil seal popped loose. When I contacted the shop, the manager's response was essentially: "Just pop it back in." That was my first red flag after paying a premium to have the bike professionally prepped. A few months later, I left for my trip. While riding through Utah, the rear spacer failed, leaving me stranded and forcing me to pay another shop to repair work that had supposedly already been done. Unfortunately, it got worse. After returning from a roughly 3,000-mile trip, the front wheel bearing catastrophically failed, seized, and essentially welded itself to the axle. This could have easily cost me my life. The damage from laying the bike down meant replacing my fuel tank, axle, bars, and brakes all because of failures tied to work I had already paid to have done. What disappointed me most was the response. After everything that happened, including the safety risk and repair costs, the manager offered me $100 as compensation. I have receipts and documentation to back up everything I'm saying. To be fair, I've heard positive things from other riders about some of the mechanics here, which makes this even more frustrating. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend having critical safety work handled under this manager's supervision or work itself. The workmanship and customer service I received were deeply disappointing. Bike is still not the same.

I love that this place opens on Saturdays, but it's first come first serve only. They do take appointments during the weekdays for bigger fixes on the bike and they are often booked out for a month or more. Labor isn't cheap, and it's comparable to other shops. What you get here is quality and honesty over other places.

I walked in this morning and spoke to Dwayne, one of the salespeople (or manager?). Extremely dismissive, short, rude, and clearly very uninterested in engaging with a serious buyer. Seems like attitude is an issue here based on previous reviews. All good though! He told me to basically kick rocks and go back to Bert's so I did exactly that! Not even an hour later after speaking with Dwayne I purchased my Ninja 500 at a steal of a deal over at Bert's. Bro's KPIs and metrics must be SOLID this month to let a sale walk out at the last day of the month. This was my second time at Bert's and both experiences were awesome. Lots of toys to look at, awesome pricing, and more importantly, excellent and friendly service the moment you walk in. This would've been my go-to place if I ever needed service or parts, but I'd rather ride/drive elsewhere than put up with the bullshit here. Oh, and if you hate your job bro, try doing something else. Don't get mad that you have to do your job when customers walk in. You're literally in sales/retail.

I just bought my 1985 FXRT that was having some ominous shifting issues and finding neutral was…read moreimpossible. A close friend suggested that I take it to Phil, who he highly recommended. Upon dropping my bike off to Phil's Speed I knew I was in the right place. There were all different types of bikes in various stages of build and repair of all vintages. In talking with Phil, I learned that his shop has been around for 40 years and that he had a back ground in aerospace machining - and it shows. Phil was\is methodical in working up my estimate - walking me through everything he would look at. Once he was able to diagnose my bike, he called and walked me through his shop tag, and found several critical repairs that were also needed. He talked me through issues with my carb, brakes, and came up with a solution for my exhaust (which I was having issues with). He showed me the parts and hard proof of what happened with repairs from the previous owner\shop. Phil's the real deal. There is no guess work in his repairs. My bike is night and day different. (My bike shifts like butter now). He isn't a parts changer but the last of true mechanics\engineers that knows how parts work and why they are made the way they are. He knows OEM and modified assemblies (I had an aftermarket performance clutch that was not adjusted properly) and will tailor his repair to what the use case is.
