I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after what happened, I feel obligated to warn other riders. I brought my Dyna in and spent around $1,000 to prepare it for a long trip. Blessed to not have been severely injured or to have lost my life. The work included new spokes, truing the wheel, based on the recommendation of the manager, Jared replacing the wheel bearings and spacers, which he also worked on. Less than 10 miles after getting the bike home, an oil seal popped loose. When I contacted the shop, the manager's response was essentially: "Just pop it back in." That was my first red flag after paying a premium to have the bike professionally prepped. A few months later, I left for my trip. While riding through Utah, the rear spacer failed, leaving me stranded and forcing me to pay another shop to repair work that had supposedly already been done. Unfortunately, it got worse. After returning from a roughly 3,000-mile trip, the front wheel bearing catastrophically failed, seized, and essentially welded itself to the axle. This could have easily cost me my life. The damage from laying the bike down meant replacing my fuel tank, axle, bars, and brakes all because of failures tied to work I had already paid to have done. What disappointed me most was the response. After everything that happened, including the safety risk and repair costs, the manager offered me $100 as compensation. I have receipts and documentation to back up everything I'm saying. To be fair, I've heard positive things from other riders about some of the mechanics here, which makes this even more frustrating. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend having critical safety work handled under this manager's supervision or work itself. The workmanship and customer service I received were deeply disappointing. Bike is still not the same. read more

Be aware of the scam, recently bought the tire from him. He said it's brand new tire and gave me the defective tire as you can see the pictures. He hides those damages with a blue tape where was written the tire number. He knows the way he was scamming me but I was just trusted him when he said it's brand new I should have checked before I buy. Called him for a solution but was very rude didn't wanna replace the tire I said I can drive another 37 miles round trip will be 74 miles still didn't wanna refund or replace a tire that he scammed me. Very rude and aggressive. Not recommended at all. read more

Wheel Works saved me at Born Free! My front tire went flat which I only noticed when we were leaving. Thank goodness we saw the Wheel Works tent earlier in the day as we made our rounds through the vendors. Jared let us use a compressor initially, but my tire wouldn't take air. Without hesitating, Reno left Born Free to get me a new tube from his shop, 15-20 minutes away, then fixed my tire on the back of his pick up truck in the parking lot!!! That's some seriously amazing service! There is no cell signal out there and you cannot call a tow truck or AAA. I would have such a been in such a bind without their help. I had this place mount my new tires and tube on my KLR. I left these with the shop thinking they were busy. I got home and I had a call they were done!. I went to pick them up. NOT only were then done and the correct direction was noted BUT they were so clean they looked NEW! NOTE their main work is HD, BUT they will mount anything at a very reasonable price. ! read more

Stop!!! Beware before you go here!!! I had my tires on my 2020 harley street glide replaced before I went to Sturgis. I paid for angle valve stems which they forgot to do!!! They also recommended I replace the rear break pads, which I had them do. They sent me to Sturgis with no brakes!!! On my way home from Sturgis I had a flat!!! On their valve stem.now I don't even believe they even changed the valve stem!!! They are not taking any responsibility for anything they touched!!!! I'm at Harley for the 2nd time since they worked on my bike!!! I went to them try to save a buck now I've spent way more then Harley Davidson cost was. I have to say when someone tells you that you can wait for a tire replacement in a wheel shop that is buzzing with activity, you might think you should just leave. I did and within an hour and a half, two wheels were done, tubes, balancing and all. Never would have believed it! Jared was great to deal with and while I was already a repeat customer, I had not been to the new location (moved two years ago). Easy to get to from the 55, I'm in the area all of the time. Perfect place for me that's for sure! One happy customer here! read more

Very expensive in the first place to change 1 tire for a bike. Paid $200 for one tire very unprofessional. Their customer service is really bad not friendly or anything. The guy there said will hook you up, yeah right $$$$. My first time going there and last. Go to Wickoff Racing instead better service and cheaper. read more

Funny how my reviews seem to get deleted from here. Brought my bike in last year and bought and had 2 tires put on. Went in garage the next morning, rear tire was flat. I paid to have it towed in. They told me defected inner tube. I let it go and rode on. About a month ago had new rear tire put on. I get home and the chrome plate that goes over rear axle bolt is dangling and hanging on by a bolt. I only rode maybe 5 miles. Both times I've been here there's been an issue. Thank you Dave and the staff at Wheel Works. For more than 10 years I've wanted new wheels for my Heritage Soft tail Classic. Kids, pink Elephants and life alway put this need on the bottom of the list. Although I visited their booth at many shows, it just wasn't going to happen. Fast forward the clock...two weeks ago, my wife asks what I wanted for Christmas. Jokingly, I request a new wheel for the rear, and add for my birthday, a front wheel. She says where do you want to get them? And off we went. Dave was not very helpful accessorizing. Not too much goes with jeans and a T. LOL! Had a nail in my tire and with the supply problems in the world, nobody but Wheel Works had a tire to fit my Fatboy Lo. I went in planning on replacing both tires (so they'd match brands) but Rino talked me out of the front tire. Said it still had plenty of wear left. He even called my warranty company and made sure they covered the repair for me. Then he gave me a great recommendation on where to go eat while I waited. I called the shop and spoke with a sales person and specified a tire and size i was interested in. He was will to price match. I understand the price is not as good as a huge chain but i had a great referral from a coworker so i was going to pay a higher price and have them take care of everything. He informed me that the tires were in stock and i could come down anytime to have them installed. I rode in form Corona on a Saturday and found they were ready with in 5 minutes to get my bike on the rack. Within minutes they walked over and informed me that the tires i requested were not in stock. I figures this is my mistake for not calling again in advance to confirm that the tires were in stock. I was told that the tires would be ordered and would be in Tuesday. The staff was very apologetic and they stated they would take down my number and call me when they arrived on Tuesday. I ride into orange county to get the wheels replaced on my lunch break. Thursday after not receiving a call i contact wheel works. I was told the tires had not yet arrived and they would be in at 10 am on the delivery truck. The staff explains they will call me as soon as they arrive. No call at 10,11, or 12. I contact wheel works at 12 and ask if the tires are in. They let me know they arrived and to come down. The tires are put on, my wheels are cleaned. They even recommended rear brake pads which i was very happy about. I had everything done that they informed me of. Saturday i was getting my bike ready for a ride and notice that i have cracked rubber gaskets at the bottom of my metal valve stems. I contact Wheel works and explain that i was under the impression this should have been taken care of. They inform me to come in and they would take care of it. I gave them a 3 because of the positives and negatives listed below. I even referred a friend and my father to them. However i would strongly recommend you call in advance to verify tires are in stock and check the valve stems. Wow this is so far the best, I had nail in my rear tire, and I called around to find the right tire, Indian motorcycle dealer had my tire and priced me some ridicules price, I had purchased my tire 2 months ago and the dealer would not discount So I was referred by my friend, anyway I take my bike within 5 minutes my bike was on the lift, I was accepting to spend few hundred dollars, 10 minutes later they had my bike ready, the tire was repaired and without any fees it was shocking to me but they have my business lifetime, not just tires everything else. Bad business/customer service. Had my girlfriend take a rear Dirtbike tire here to fix a flat. When she picks it up the guy says I need a new tire due to a huge gash. But still charges me $45 for a tube, instead of selling me a tire as well. Waste of money read more

Tire and wheel service on my Roadking done right. Knowledgeable and professional. I called them up for a specific style and size of tires. Dave made a recommendation and explained why he was suggesting Dunlops over Metzeler for me. I ended up dropping my bike off and buying a mt/90-16 xl and a mu/85-16 xl Dunlop D402s wide whites. Bike was done on time, They cleaned my wheels and there weren't finger prints anywhere when I got it back. I have been here before and will be here again.
