Wife got a quote of $31.99 for a tire patch and after the service was done, they tell us it's $45.00. They said the person who answered the phone shouldn't be answering phones but what kind of work place is that in general. That's your mistake, own up to it, why does the customer suffer your inefficiency. Also a few years back, came in for an oil change and they took out my air filter and charged me a new one. So here's the scoop... ...damn screw imbedded itself really good on my less than 7K Michelin rear passenger tire and surprise-surprise! to a section where your regular patch job cannot be done (very close to the tire's side wall) and for safety concerns especially if you often do long drives, is not the smartest thing to do. (TRUST ME, after experiencing a tire blow out many years ago where there's no cell reception, on a highway in the middle of nowhere in Montana and in the middle of the night- I might have spewed all the cuss words I know in 3 languages - I also promised myself NEVER to drive with compromised tires EVER again) not just for the inconvenience it could potentially bring but for safety concerns not just for myself but other motorist as well. Anyway, we called Big O on a Sunday and Fernando was nothing but helpful and just an awesome person to deal with, the replacement process could've been done the same day but unfortunately he needed to order the tire as it was not in stock, he checked their schedule and ordered the replacement tire for me which was installed expediently early next day! Everyone here at Big O was very cool and helpful! I highly recommend this place if you happen to have a tire/vehicle emergency. Thanks guys! read more

I received excellent service at Big O Tires on Katella in Orange last week. I had my car towed there after I discovered I had a flat tire before leaving home. My spare had a broken valve stem, so I was stuck. Big O Tires notified me they received my car from AAA. They communicated almost immediately with my son about my options for replacing the tire. They were professional and knowledgeable, and very easy to communicate with. My car was ready for pick up the same day and even fixed my spare tire for free. I've worked in emergency services for the better half of a decade and I'm used to emergencies happening but it's always scary when it's my own.
