Yesterday I called to ensure they had the proper tires I needed and set up an appointment. Tony saw that I was a previous customer and gave me a discount, honoring the price that paid a couple years ago. Off to a great start! I told him that I wanted the new tires placed on the front, and the old front tires then moved to the back. I believe this is standard procedure. Came to my appointment today and was processed by Randy. Before handing over my keys, I again stated that I wanted the new tires placed on the FRONT. I left while they worked on the car. Randy called saying that my car would be finished soon, but then tried to upsell me with an unnecessary alignment, life time warranty, and a Firestone credit card. I'm sure he is directed to do this, and he's just following orders. I told him I just wanted the tires. When I went to pick up my car, the new tires were placed on the REAR. How frustrating. What was the point of communicating this twice? What should've been a simple mounting of tires is now a delayed and frustrating experience. Probably not t what Firestone wants for their customers In all fairness, I did research and learned the tire industry is now suggesting the new tires be placed in the rear. The thought being when going around a corner on a wet roadway, you would be less likely to fishtail or hydroplane. Interesting. You think Firestone would've had a conversation with me and we could've been on the same page. But instead, they just agreed with what I was asking for, but didn't follow through. read more

Techs diagnosed my traverse wrong, tried to blame it on the water pump and gave an estimate of 1000+ more of what the actual repair and labor would normally cost. A realistic price is $900-$1,400 Back story: Car overheated nearby the shop, pull the car in, we paid for a diagnostic. The shop said it was a bad water pump. The quote was for 2400. Thankful I've had a lot of water pumps changed out and know how much it they should come out to. Flabbergasted at the price, I took my car somewhere else and they told me what was wrong with it and what caused it after the diagnostic. Unfortunately I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Firestone location. I have been a service technician for 5 years and I have to say the service I witnessed today was very unprofessional . 06/17/2026 I went in with no check engine light, no tire pressure sensor light, all 4 TPMS SENSORS readings between 37 and 38 psi (I know this because I drive with the screen open at all times and monitor it thoroughly, it's my new truck). I arrived with 4 tires that I needed mounted and balanced , as well as my lifetime alignment. A job I considered to be fairly simple. I was quoted $116 for the whole job. I dropped it off for the service and came back to pickup about 4 hrs later. During this time I at no point received a phone call or update for any issues that came up during my service. When I returned for pickup, I was handed my keys and a sheet with my alignment specs. That was it. I DID NOT receive a technician report, nor did I receive a service overview . The service advisor did not report any issues to me. He simply said everything was good and sent me on my way. Under the assumption that everything went well, I drove off and immediately noticed that none of my TPMS sensors were working. I continue to drive for 25 minutes to verify my diagnosis before returning to Firestone. When I returned, I brought up the issue. The service advisor sent a technician try to reprogram my sensors, which should not have been necessary because my sensors were NOT replaced. After waiting for 45 more minutes, I am was told that my sensors were apparently broken when I dropped off the vehicle. This is when I was given a new quote of $300 to have the sensors replaced. Sensors that were fully functional when I dropped off my vehicle. I understand that mistakes happen, and sometimes things break. But I am very disappointed with my service This Firestone not only broke my sensors, which I use on a daily basis, but are also being dishonest about the whole situation. For argument sake, let's just say my sensors were broken when I dropped off the vehicle, then why did I not receive: 1. A phone call with a recommendation to replace during the duration of the current service. 2. Received a technician report with a recommendation to replace the sensors 3. A notification of any issues found when I picked up my vehicle at the end of the service. read more

Yeah, they let all the Freon out of my air conditioner. System never did a diagnostic on it or they would've realized it was a $40 switch and they had to reprogram the ECU so it wouldn't keep sending a message to turn off the compressor cause it was sending a message the car was overheating so they changed that put a $40 switch in there and it works great like new again Firestone wanted to charge me $2900 to fix it plus tax would've been over 3000 then I called and complained and they put me to Carlos. I don't know what they pay Carlos for but it's certainly not public relations the guys a piece of work real real bad for the company. No customer service whatsoever. The guy is rude and unbecoming to the customers he should be fired. I've done PR work all my life and that's not the way you handle it the way he did. He's a punk. read more

Friday I went in for an oil change and to take care of the suspension bushings recommended from my last oil change... So after 2 hours they call to let me know i need the bushings that i already told them about. $1700 bill... with all work included. Not great but not terrible. Heres the problem: Didnt fill windshield wiper fluid, even with alert on dashboard so i had to go to autozone and buy my own. Didn't put the tire valve stems back on so i had to buy another pack at autozone as well. (2nd time they havent replaced tire stems) I had to double check everything under the hood i was so nervous after this trip, even double checked the battery they claimed they changed. Im genuinely amazed at how little effort they put into their to work especially with a bill that high. Ive been going here out of convenience but this WILL be the last time. read more

Two different times I have been at this location due to a flat tire (different tires). Both times I received excellent customer service from the front desk to the repair technicians in the back. I believe they go above and beyond the normal scope of work. the first time I came in it was just about closing time and they stayed a little later to fix my tire. Excellent service and pricing. My wife woke up to a flat tire with a screw in the treads that needed fixing before our son's birthday on Saturday. I was able to take it to them as soon as they opened at 7am and they were able to make time to repair the flat. Gary initially warned me it might not be possible to repair the flat because the wear bars were visible on all 4 tires. However, a short while later, the tire was fixed and it only cost $30. I know some of you are going to tell me there are plenty of places that fix it for free as courtesy but we needed it at that specific time and they were walking distance so I could come home to finish preparations. Went in last week for a nail in the sidewall of my tire hoping it would be a quick easy change but nope paid over 300 dollars for new tire and they end up replacing a random tire and leaving my truck with a nail in my tire. Now I'm at fire stone again but a different location because I have to get the same tire with the same nail replaced because as one could easily guess if I have a nail in my tire and want it to be replaced I want the tire with nail in it to be replaced. I came into Firestone for some battery terminal issues. They guys were extremely friendly and did a courtesy check on my car before coming back and discussing the issue. They found the problem right away and were able to adjust the loose terminal. I'm in no way car smart and the guys at Firestone made me feel comfortable with everything going on. *It was an added (and pleasant) surprise that one of them recognized the band from my car keys tag. He took his time to explain to me how they would go about running a diagnostic test and then let me know what they find. For not having an appointment and just dropping in, I was surprised with how quickly they turned things around. I needed to replace the fuse for my sunroof which was leaking! They replaced it for free and did a full inspection all within an hour of me being there. absolutely no words. going to a car repair spot as a female they think im clueless about cars. they try and scam me. i came at 12pm to have my car aligned which should take what an hour? they told me my car needs like $3,000 worth of repairs. its an old car duh. its now 3pm and they arent done with my car. im not spending $3000 on cosmetic things it doesnt need. Tire light came on at the worst moment. Was having a bad day. Was able to drive it a couple blocks to this tire center on the corner of Tustin/Taft (southwest corner). I was totally disheveled and auto immune flare up nearly in tears and Gary helped me quickly. He found out my tire pressure was low and there was so nail, right away. He was so kind and honest!! My wife took our Scion XB in for a wheel alinement. The salesperson informed her that the rear wheel needed a shim. It is my understanding that the shim straightened a design flaw with the rear end of the car, which makes the rear wheels wear down prematurely. Well, this was not the first time that I heard this, but this time, we had the issue taken care of. The reason we got it done was that the manager was very upfront with the situation and the atmosphere of the shop was so peaceful. They had Christan music playing, and everyone seemed to be working well together, which made my wife feel comfortable. They gave us such a great deal on the repairs, which triggered this review. Where do I start? Went for a coolant leak from the secondary water pump hose. The manger diagnosis was $1960.00 calling for, amongst other parts, a new water pump. I bought the hose and clamps for $59.00 and had my mechanic friend do the job for another $100.00. My water pump was fine not broken like they said. Do I need say more? read more

went to get my oil changed and tire rotation, they called me an hour and a half after i dropped off my car saying i needed $2700 worth of work done to it. one of the things they told me was that my brakes were at 30% and it was urgent that i get them replaced. thought it seemed fishy so we took it to a local guy and he said the car was in pristine shape and brakes were at 80% and 70% in the front and back respectively. i am never coming back here again, and i encourage everyone else to never waste their money at this place. they 100% targeted me because i am woman who does not know much about cars. the fact that they made it seem like i was going to be in danger if i didn't get my brakes changed immediately was infuriating. read more

A exceptional value compared to Toyota of Orange which is in the same price realm but its not life time. The Firestone representative was well versed in explaining an alignment which helped a Neanderthal like myself understand the important function and work that took place. I too paid for a lifetime alignment. Took my jeep to them, after a trip, and their customer service is horrible. The front counter dude paid way more attention to playing on his cell phone then helping customers. He even pulled it out several times, and checked something while I was talking to him. They told me they rotated my tires and completed an alignment, my tires were marked, they did not rotate my tires. Who knows if they actually did an alignment. So the attached pic is where they glued the wheel weights to the outside of the rim. They did this to all the tires. I get it's a jeep, but come on. I will never go back. I took my Mini Cooper in in September because the AC was broken. The people I spoke to were very nice and said it should be done in a few days. I called back after a few days and they said the person working on my car was out. I called the next day, and they said they hadn't done the full diagnostic yet. Called again, and they told me the part was going to take 3-4 days to come in. I had to take the full week off work because what was supposed to be a 3 day job took 10. I am an understanding person and I knew it was a big job, so I didn't fight it or press it. I then picked up my car, and noticed that the hood sensor said it was still open, and the rims around my lights seemed loose. I went back inside and asked if this was normal, and they confirmed it was, so I drove off. The hood sensor went off for the entire drive, and the rim off my flight flew off on the highway. I called them and took it back in the next day, where they fixed the hood sensor. As for the rim around the light, the part was fully gone, and they said they would reorder it and get back to me. It has been two months and I have not heard back. A part is fully missing from my car after I paid 2.2K for a full AC change and had to take it in twice. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was so extremely disappointing and it's hardly professional to leave a car with missing parts and never reach out again because it's been paid for. read more

I came in to just get my tire filled up as it was low. Robert, the technician, which I also assume to be the manager was very polite and helpful. I offered to pay him a tip for helping me out. Customer service, customer service, customer service. That is what Robert is all about. He wouldn't let me pay him and made sure I was taken care of and informed as to the condition of my vehicle before leaving the shop. Scheduled an appointment to get brakes done drop off car before 9am. Was told it be ready around 1pm. Then got a call they had gotten wrong parts but had found the right ones now the car would be ready around 3pm. I got their around 3:45pm waited another 45mint to be told they still don't have the right part and the car wouldn't be ready till Saturday. This is the most incompetent people and the worst customer service I have experience. Not only they I wasted my a whole day but also spent money on going back and forth. All I got was if you don't want to leave the car till tomorrow we can put it back together and take it somewhere else. Why would I want to leave my car with someone so incompetent that can even figure out what size rotors the car needs. If I could give them a zero star I would. Extremely terrible communication, service, and dishonest. I have a vehicle in a fleet program so I came to them as recommended for a screw to be repaired in my rear left tire. With no consent or communication they hoisted my truck up on a lift and did an oil change on it ONLY because they wanted to bill the fleet approval. I never once said the word oil change, I came to a tire shop! I will never come back to Firestone. Go to American tires down the street where I take my personal vehicle. They have always offered free puncture repairs and service in a timely manner with a smile. I was quoted 45 minutes for a puncture repair turned into 2.5 hours and an oil change I never approved! read more

Seems like others that have reviewed this location have also had inconsistent and negative experiences with their staff. I have been looking for a new mechanic and unfortunately this isn't the place. I brought my car in for an oil change. Simple, right? First Freddy told me that they open at 7am and I could drop off then. They may unlock the doors at that time but they don't begin bringing cars in until after 8am. I requested a written estimate and was told that they "don't do that" by the guy at the register. He also kept calling me "boss" I arrived home and found an estimate in my inbox with verbal authorization under my signature. How was I able to give verbal authorization when I never saw an estimate? About four hours after I dropped my car off I received a call from a woman who sounded like she had marbles in her mouth. She appeared to suggest about $3,500 of additional work that the technician identified as necessary. Normally I would agree to consider the work but I thought it might be safer to find another mechanic. Freddy was at the till when I picked my car up and I attempted to give him some of this feedback. He let me know that the company is trying to save paper so not providing written estimates. He kept calling me boss and was overall dismissive and rude. It was strange because he appeared accommodating when I made my appointment the day before. read more
