I was in the market for new tires for my Tesla Model Y, so I did some shopping around. What really caught my attention was Daniels Tire Service - their prices were a lot better than I expected. Daniel's Tire service is the way to go! I've taken my work truck in multiple times for various jobs. Brake pads/rotors, oil changes, new battery, you name it. They've always been a pleasure to work with and are very communicative, especially compared to other options in the area. Because of their awesome job with my work truck, I've also brought in my personal Subaru. They fixed the A/C, installed new brake pads/rotors, did an oil change, and replaced control arms ALL IN THE SAME DAY. Before doing any work on the control arms, Joe even texted me photos of what he was looking at, and he kept me updated as the job progressed. Joe even stayed late so I could pick up my vehicle after hours. Overall, the work on my Subaru really impressed me. Joe is the best hands down. I come here after Jiffy Lube messes up my car and tries to get money out of me. One time, they tried to put my engine light on when it was not needed. Joe checked it out for me, and fixed it free of charge! That's just the kind of guy he is. I've brought my car here exclusively since then. He also works on my friends car now! While the manager and/or counter staff was courteous he nevertheless, straight out lied to me--which I did not appreciate. Daniel's... closes at 4 pm on Saturdays. A week ago this last Saturday I arrived at Daniel's Tire Service at 2:05 pm. Before I even said a word a male approached me (in the parking lot) as I was exiting my vehicle and said: "What can I do for you." I'm leaving soon. I'm leaving at 2:30 (p.m.)." I informed him that I think I have a nail in one of my tires. He stepped over my words before I completed my sentence and said I can't check it today. I'm leaving soon. Bring it back on Monday. I told him I can't wait until Monday. It has to be checked today. His response was: well, I'm sorry, but I can't do it today. I followed up with: but I bought the tires here. He said I can see that. And he followed up with: I'm sorry but I'm leaving. I said: all right? I'll take it elsewhere. His response was OK; I understand. Then I just drove away. I was at Daniel's two hours before they close. I was straight out lied to which I did not appreciate. So I drove my vehicle to Pep Boys. When I entered the lobby I noticed that all the vehicle bays were occupied and a couple of people sitting in the waiting area. A male came from the back with paperwork for one of the customers when he spotted me. I told him my situation. He (Alfonso) said, I'm booked. But let me see what I can do... He told me to park behind one of the vehicles that were jacked up. Despite that he was extremely busy and booked, Alfonso made time to check my car's tires. Furthermore, he even took the time to check my vehicle tires' pressure sensors. Despite that I have been a past dedicated paying customer with Daniels. I did not appreciate being lied to by Daniel's staff. I feel that I can no longer trust Daniel's or recommend anyone to them. FIRED multiple chances given. Trouble began with a futile attempt to sell me a $500 battery. A post on yelp responded with a free oil change to reconcile. Since that's what I originally came in for I let them change oil on wife's car. Later I found out that on the original oil change the filter was left loose resulting in leakage all over the area. I discovered this myself & have pictures for California state bureau of auto repair. They also couldn't even wipe clean the skid plate on my TRD instead of requiring removal of the plate resulting in oil on garage floor AGAIN. They tried to sell wife tires and tuneup prematurely. As verified by dealer. This place is a jip joint. BEWARE DO NOT PATRONIZE (or do so at your own peril). Zero to negative stars. No restitution possible for cheating liars. read more

I just had my transmission replaced only for days later realizing I needed new brakes and rotors, I was hesitant to reach out after the ordeal with my transmission at another facility. I came in because one of my tires had lower pressure than the others. Joe quickly checked it out and suspected a slow leak since my tires were pretty old. He added air to all the tires and told me to come back if the same one lost pressure again, so he could check for a leak. Sure enough, a few weeks later that tire was low again, so I made an appointment for the next day. Now, as a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I usually brace myself anytime I go to a car shop--because I know I'm about to get upsold on all sorts of "necessary" fixes and end up spending way more than expected. Joe did point out that my tires were mismatched brands (oops!) and about five years old, showing me the cracks and worn treads. So I thought, here we go... But to my surprise, about an hour later, he had patched the tire and sent me on my way--no gimmicks, no pressure, no upsell. Just honest, straightforward service. Walked in early on a Friday, and the door was open BEFORE the shop was "open". Frank greeted me very professionally right when I walked in. I told him I was just looking to get a tired plugged because it had a screw in it. He let me know that they do patches there, and when their tech showed up he have him get to work on it. Right when Rambo got in I over heard quite a list of jobs he had to do that day. I went to their new location on 3366 Leonis Blvd. in Vernon it used to be Commercial Tire Co. now it's Daniel's tire company and these guys are great. They really know their business. They have all the right equipment to take care of your needs for truck tires they do all the big ones too, and they're really highly qualified technicians And they do great detail work and they're very pleasant and very efficient.
