I made the EASIEST mistake known to cars, and they could of easily overcharged me, but didn't. And honestly for that, I am so grateful. I didn't make the best first impression, but they did. My request went through the Yelp Project page first and Jose was very fast with his response. He told me I could come in on a Friday morning as a walk in. Gino who took care of my intake was very friendly and made me feel welcome. They also had a comfy waiting area stocked with complimentary coffee and snacks, but I didn't need to wait long because I was out of there within an hour, oil changed and tires rotated. Their prices are fair and they accept both credit card and cash/Zelle (if you want to avoid the 3% credit card surcharge). During the oil change they also noted some things that will need repair, but weren't pushy with their recommendations. For that I am very appreciative, and will most definitely come back for their continued services.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 AM. Around 2:30 PM, I received a call that the four tires I requested to have replaced was ready for pick up. After paying $1,061.57 for the tires and labor, I drove off the lot only for my truck to begin violently shaking, forcing me to pull over immediately. I contacted my husband, who came to assist, but the truck was undrivable. I returned to Stress Free Auto Care and explained the situation. At that point, my husband was already waiting for a tow truck. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told they were closing and would not inspect the vehicle until Monday. I could hear the mechanic complaining that he was tired and didn't want to wait around when the manager went to speak to him. I specifically asked if anyone actually drove my truck to test it and was told no they did not road test it. Obviously. Due to the poor customer service and urgency of the situation, we had the truck towed to Toyota of Orange. After inspection, we were informed that the lug nuts had been grossly over-tightened, three were broken and one was missing entirely. This was not a minor mistake; it caused significant damage to the wheel components and created a serious safety hazard. Proper torque is a basic standard that any competent shop should follow, yet it was clearly ignored. No one from Stress Free Auto Care contacted us at any point the following week. After Toyota kept the truck for a week and a half, we were left with a repair bill of $3,332.03. My husband sent a certified letter to Stress Free Auto Care, including documentation of the damages and requesting reimbursement. The manager eventually responded, offering to reimburse only the cost of the tires without acknowledging the additional damages or expenses incurred. As a result, we have filed a lawsuit to recover our losses. I strongly caution anyone to use Stress Free and to choose a business that values safety, accountability, and professional standards.

When I got here, Tom was my point of contact. I explained to him that I needed a pre-purchase inspection, and he was able to get on it right away. While Tom's team was working on that, I waited in their office. The office was air conditioned, with very comfy seating, and a clean restroom. There was also a water cooler, which I appreciated. The whole inspection took less than 45 minutes, and I was glad to hear that the car was good for purchase. I paid Tom with my card, and I was on my way to finish the purchase. After picking up the car, I immediately noticed that some of the electronics were not working correctly and it still felt like the battery was being drained. Because the original diagnosis didn't seem to match the symptoms, I took the vehicle to Al's Electric Repair in Anaheim, a shop that had successfully fixed an electrical issue on another vehicle of mine. Al's quickly identified a parasitic drain caused by a camera installed inside the cabin. Once they repaired the drain, the electrical issues disappeared and the car has been running properly ever since. What concerns me is that the first shop initially told me they had found a parasitic drain, but later concluded that the battery was the only problem. Whether the battery needed replacement or not, the actual drain remained and was causing the issues I brought the car in for. Based on my experience, Al's Electric Repair accurately diagnosed and repaired the problem, and they have now successfully resolved electrical issues on two of my vehicles.

He gently pushed against the fender until the crease went away and pulled the bumper edge outward until it lined up flush against the fender. I got three other quotes up to $2600 requiring to replace the bumper and paint the fender to match! The car is over 5 years old but the entire body is in great shape. I wasn't looking for a perfect repair. Lawrence at the start asked if I wanted a perfect restoration or something reasonable. I definitely wanted something reasonable because I didn't want to go through my insurance company for an aging car. After he finished the repair, you can't even notice any damage. I wish more body shops were more honest like Signature Auto body. Last thing, I plan to come back with my other car that needs more extensive work but at least I know I'm dealing with someone who I can trust! :)

I'm excited that my Range Rover is ready..and at a great price, timely. Super professional..across the board. Had an opportunity to witness the entire team in action. Impressive. Lead mechanic sounds like a bad dude and JR is straight and to the point..no bs..no sugar coating. AAA CERTIFICATION and I was referred..now I know why..not that Im some great businessman..I hate that sometimes hops don't have a clue yet they manage to add services that sometimes are an upsale.. not cool. These guys did it right..Most shops don't even service Range Rovers..I was expecting this issue to not be resolved and the reason vehicle was at such a good price..not the case..now I can resell for profit...actually keep it. Ever since I started to drive (since 2006) I have been taking my cars (had a mid 90s jeep, now an early 2000 SUV) to Greg's orange auto. I am always well taken care of and am very pleased with the helpfulness of the up-to-date phone calls on major and minor repairs! Even when i do not understand exactly what has happened to my car, I have spoken to both JR and Greg as they break down situations so I can properly understand what has happened, what will happen and what parts I need to help my vehicle work properly. They work very well with my busy schedule of being a full time student and having multiple part time jobs. Prices are always the best compared to other places considering that I am on a tight budget. They are all very honest and work well with my wallet :) read more

so I broke down in the Orange area on my way to an Angel game and had no idea what to do (was my first time breaking down). I am a AAA member and when the tow truck got there they recommended Greg's Orange Auto and said they did very good work so I just went with it based upon the recommendation. Service was prompt and everything was explained to me very well they would not even touch my car until I said it was ok to. Come to find out my car had a leaking waterpump that caused it to overheat and they would have to keep it overnight, I was okay with that and went off to the game the next day just as promised i got the call that the car was ready :) I definitely will be going back again to these guys for any future work thanks guys!! read more

I had them repair my Ford ranger that had been to multiple mechanics for diagnosis and after tons of money in parts and labor that didn't fix anything, they properly diagnosed the problem and made recommendations to provide an affordable and proper repair. I wish I had taken it to them first but I'll never take my cars anywhere else. I can't say enough good things. I've been going to Greg's for about 7 years and wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. They are honest, trustworthy and stand behing their work 100%. I feel confident when I take my vehicle there that it will be repaired correctly. He always keeps me informed about maintenance work that will need to be done. I've been taking my vehicles to Greg's for decades! He's honest and a pro! Supremely hard to find these days!! There's so many hinky auto repair shops out there! I love that the employees are ASE certified and the shop is AAA approved. JR is extremely personable and has the patience to explain the problem and solution to a novice. I commute to work in Orange, and heard awful noises from my brakes this morning when I got off the freeway. I needed someone in the area, otherwise I'm not sure I would have made it home (I need to watch my brakes more carefully!) I gave Greg's Orange Auto a chance. When I got here, Tom was my point of contact. I explained to him that I needed a pre-purchase inspection, and he was able to get on it right away. While Tom's team was working on that, I waited in their office. The office was air conditioned, with very comfy seating, and a clean restroom. There was also a water cooler, which I appreciated. The whole inspection took less than 45 minutes, and I was glad to hear that the car was good for purchase. I paid Tom with my card, and I was on my way to finish the purchase. This is a well-run mechanic shop, and Tom is friendly and professional. I recommend them.
