The wait time to get the tire fixed was reasonable, so I stepped out to grab dinner nearby and came back later. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. I got three other quotes up to $2600 requiring to replace the bumper and paint the fender to match! The car is over 5 years old but the entire body is in great shape. I wasn't looking for a perfect repair. Lawrence at the start asked if I wanted a perfect restoration or something reasonable. I definitely wanted something reasonable because I didn't want to go through my insurance company for an aging car. After he finished the repair, you can't even notice any damage. I wish more body shops were more honest like Signature Auto body. Last thing, I plan to come back with my other car that needs more extensive work but at least I know I'm dealing with someone who I can trust! :)

End of the day, he fixed the tire and did the job right. I still gave him $40, not because I had to, but because I wanted to keep it cool. A few hours later, I called for an update and was told they had found a parasitic battery drain and needed to run additional tests. Later that day, they called back and said the problem was simply a faulty battery and that replacing it would solve the issue. I approved the repair, which ended up costing about $430 for the battery. After picking up the car, I immediately noticed that some of the electronics were not working correctly and it still felt like the battery was being drained. Because the original diagnosis didn't seem to match the symptoms, I took the vehicle to Al's Electric Repair in Anaheim, a shop that had successfully fixed an electrical issue on another vehicle of mine. Al's quickly identified a parasitic drain caused by a camera installed inside the cabin. Once they repaired the drain, the electrical issues disappeared and the car has been running properly ever since. What concerns me is that the first shop initially told me they had found a parasitic drain, but later concluded that the battery was the only problem. Whether the battery needed replacement or not, the actual drain remained and was causing the issues I brought the car in for. Based on my experience, Al's Electric Repair accurately diagnosed and repaired the problem, and they have now successfully resolved electrical issues on two of my vehicles.
